Mac smiled and pushed her face underneath Mooglys chin. "Thank you for letting us take this cub, she will be well taken care of." Fresh Snow smiled and let Mac and Grassy Field talk to Moogly for a bit longer. After a few minutes they all stood up. "We should probably go and get her settled into her new home. It was nice seeing you Moogly," Fresh Snow purred. Mac picked up the cub and they all made their way out.

(I am new to RP so sorry if its slopy)

"I have heard of a place like this" A lion said form the opening of the cave, his voice almost cold. "But to see with my own eyes and see what it really is" His face hiden in the shadows made by the sun, almost threatening. "I would have thought my brother was talking about the place the two feet keep their pigs." He walks inside of the cave, face becomeing visible, He looks around almost in disgust of the place, and then he looks at the cubs, He looks at them with sad eyes becuse he knows some of them may not get lucky. "you know sometimes i wonder if theres a god who takes cubs whos fate was this and gives them a home" he said while looking at the filthy cave, makeing a face each time he sees a small lion skull, With or with out meat still on it. "and if not, i wonder when i die, if I can be that god, an invisible hero to the unluck cubs and punich the ones who did that to them. Well maybe my brother is better as the hero and i the punicher"

There was a moment of silence, now he was inside of the cave maybe in the middle of it and then he spoke again. "I wish that i can take all of them but that wont be Realistic, now would it?" Silence, then he spoke "Most people call me UncleLion or Uncle becuse of my "famous" brother whom is called 'FatherLion', Ironic" He said sarcastically, maybe a little venom, but quicly snaps out of it. "i may seem cold but when you are compert to someone almost all day, everyday you get tired of it" Uncle is siting in the cave looking over the cubs. He has not made eye contect with Moogly seense the first look, Not becuse of disgust more anger that someone whould leave their pride member like that but he presses it down becuse he knows he cant do anything even if he wanted to.

"I'll take her ( https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794165463291 ) and her ( https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794165463364 ), if you dont mind" he said while pointing at one and then turning to point at the other one, the first hissing at him and then the other staring at him, Juging him parhaps? " I'll also take her, ( https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794165463336 ) her, ( https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794165463354 ) and her ( https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794165463365 )" Again pointing at the cubs, the first looking with big eyes, the 2nd Standing on their tipy paws, and the 3rd just siting there. "I think I'll swop in at take them as well ( https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794165463355 , https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794165463337 )" and again pointing at the cubs, Both of the cubs looking a bit angry and small hissing.

" I Hope its allrigth if i take 7 cubs, I know its alot but i can handle it" Uncle turns to look at Moogly waiting for an answer.

Moogly chuckled at his end statement, but had been silent and forlorn during everything else. She coughed heavily, and some blood spattered the ground in front of her. Getting to her paws was a feat in and of itself and she gathered all the cubs he had pointed out into the center. She leaned down to whisper to them, and as she did so they all seemed to calm down just a smidge. One of them remained stone cold though and Moogly just gave them a cowlick to try and break that serial-killer glare. It didn't work.

"Well, Uncle," Moogly slow-blinks at him as she finally turns on shaking paws to face him, "I have spoken with the cubs and they are willing to go with you if you can promise that they can each have their own slice of meat to eat." She's smiling softly, but the sorrow in her eyes is almost too heavy for anyone to carry. "You have changed the lives of these cubs, Uncle, and for that I can only thank you and wish you Shade and Sweetwater in all your ventures, for I have nothing else to give." She bowed to Uncle, low as her old and frail body could, and a few tears could be seen dropping from her eyes.

Kin knew he was lost but he didnt think he would ever stuble upon a place like this. He could see the big lion on the rock and wanted to avoid him at all costs, he knows he no where near stron enough to beat a lion that size. He flatened himself and moved as quickly as he could into the first den he saw. Backing in he didnt see what kind of horror was behind him until he bumped into another lion. He jumped and whirled around ready to bolt at the slightest sign of agression, but saw only a ravaged lioness. He lookes at her in horror. "Oh my god. OH MY GOD! What happened to you, are you okay?!?" He looks at her hard and sees movment behind her. Kin leans out and sees cubs, so many cubs! All of them skinny and mangey and so sick some can hardly move. He looks back at the lioness in shock. "Whats goin on here?" he asks the lioness quietly. He keeps looking around at the cubs, so many, just laying in piles to scared to move. He feels like crying, he barely old enough to start his own pride, hes barely older than some of the cubs here! He looks at the lioness again and waits for her response.

Moogly quickly motions for the young lion to quiet down, not wanting to attract Coy's attention. Some of the cubs shoot awake and clamp paws over their mouths to stop their whimperings as they scuttle backwards. One of them even begins to babble pleas to be left alone and not hurt anymore. Moogly looks like she is on the verge of a breakdown.

"Please, please speak quietly." Moogly whispers, "We are fine, we are okay, but you are not safe here, stranger." She wobbles on her paws, casting glances at a few of the cubs who haven't moved. They could be assumed dead if it wasn't for the pitiful and sporadic movements of their rib cages.

Kin flinches at the tone in her voice, she scolds him like his mother used to. "I-im sorry, I didnt mean to upset anyone." he whispers, pinning his ears. He cant help looking at the babbling cub, they sound so terrified. And at the cubs who havent moved at all. Its unnerving. Kin starts when he hears her say that they are okay. "How can you say that, look at them! Look at you! You are not fine!" He realizes hes raised his voice again and quiets himself, "Please, what is this place? Are you trapped, do you need help?" He keeps looking at the cubs, the little cubs who arent moving. He doesnt wait for her response before slinking over to the closest unmoving cub, just a yard or so away. Its a little dark furred thing, it doesnt even open its eyes when he nudges it with his nose. He looks back a the lioness, "Why are they so sick? What is the king doing? Isnt he helping them?" He lays down next to the cub and nudges them again, they still dont respond and his worry grows. Kin looks at the lioness. "What can i do?" he chokes out. His throat feels tiight, like hes going to cry. Hes barely old enough to start his own pride, how can he help them when he can barly help himself.

Moogly sits down with a sigh, looking over at all the cubs. "Only lions with abnormalities are allowed in Coy's pride." She murmurs ever so softly, "These are the unlucky cubs born without visible mutations and so I try to care for them best I can until someone adopts them and brings them home to a better and safer pride." Tears trickle down her stained face, leaving trails in the dirt caked upon her fur. She pads over to nuzzle the young lion.

"This is not your fault, nor is it your fight." She murmurs, "You help us greatly by just showing even the smallest ounce of kindness and helping get these cubs homes before they are too old."

Kin cant help but cry when she tell him how unwanted these cubs are. He cant imagine it and trying breaks his heart more. He looks down at the little black cub, watching her chest rise in a stuttered breath. He shakes his head at the lioness, hiccuping softly as he cries. "I cant fight, Im not very good, never have been but if-if i can take her with me. If i can take her with me maybe i can help her." he whispers to her. Kin rubs his snout with his paw to whipe away before taking a deep breath and standing on shaky paws. "I can take her with me when i leave, im Not leaving her behind. I'll just have to find a way to sneak out." He looks back down a the little cub, and then at the lioness. "I dont know if i can come back, i dont even really know where i am but ill make sure she doesnt forget you." he says softly, "Can you help me get her on my back?" He stands still as the lioness lifts the cub gently onto his back, before he rolls his shoulders nad settles her in the dip between them. Kin slinks back toward the enterance to the den, ready to bolt out of there as quick as he could while carrying a cub but stops short. "I just realized i never asked your name."

Moogly grins, helping get the cub settled on the young lion's back and sending a silent prayer to Atia for the cub's safety and health. "You don't need to fight, you are already helping so much just by rescuing her." Moogly whispers softly, wiping away her own tears when Kin mentions that he won't let the cub forget her.

"My name is Moogly, little stranger." She bows again, bones creaking as she does so. Gods, she is old she huffs, amused with her age despite the beatings she has taken from Coy Fish.

Kin looks at her and gives a small smile, "Well Moogly, my name is Kin, i guess this is goodbye. Maybe ill find my way back and bring her with me." He bows his head to the lioness and peaks out of the den. Noticing the Large lion is nowhere to be seen he bolts as quickly as he can while staying low, ensuring both himself and the little lioness between his shoulders make it out alive.

Glaedr is out exploring, and chances upon a pride not too far away. He decides to check it out. He notices a lion up on the rock and steers clear, not wanting to fight with anyone right now. He notices a cave off to his right and walks in. It's a decent size but is surprised to see a single lioness and a lot of cubs cowering behind her. All of them are malnourished. He looks around again and he notices that in a small corner in the cave, a young cub gnawing on tiny pieces of a bone. He is intrigued that this young cub isn't as frightened as her siblings. He slowly walks up to the lioness and asks "Are you all ok? Do you guys need any food? Or any toys or anything at all?"

Moogly watches the stranger with kind but wary eyes. "We are alive." Her smile is wobbly and empty. She is laying down, legs stretched out and covered in festering wounds. She is obviously in bad shape and all the cubs are struggling to even move. The one gnawing on a bone casts a glance at Glaedr, raising an eyebrow as if to wave, but otherwise does not cease trying to get to the marrow.

"We would never say no to extra toys and food, but we don't want you risking yourself." Moogly speaks up again, voice dry and cracked.

"Feathers...?" One little cub peaks her head over Moogly's back, shaking with fright as she makes her simple request.

Glaedr laughs softly, although it is sad sounding, and gives you a bunch of feathers hiding in his mane

"These are usually for my own cub's enjoyment, but I have more back in my pride. I didn't bring very much food with me, but I found an antelope carcass not too long ago, hold on a sec" He runs out of the cave and comes back with an antelope carcass 5 minutes later. He made sure to stay in the shadows so Coy wouldn't see him.

"Here you go. Next time I visit, I shall bring you something for your wounds." He slowly walks over to the little cub gnawing on the bone.

"Hi there. Would you like a better bone?" She slightly growls and he chuckles because she has an adorable grumpy face. He has a bone from the antelope in his mane and hands it to her. She grabs it and gnaws on it, still growling softly. He walks back over to the lioness and sits down, trying to seem smaller to get the cubs more used to him.

"I'm sorry I cannot offer you more, but I was wondering, why isn't your king taking care of you guys?"

The little cub is overjoyed when she sees the feathers. She bats and huffs at them, almost showing some energy. A few of the other cubs join in, some even jogging after feathers that get caught on their little breaths. When he comes in with a carcass, Moogly can't stop her stomach from growling. She lets all of the cubs eat their fill first, but drool drips from her mouth in bashful desire. It has been so long since she last ate. When Glaedr asks about their king, Moogly leads him off a ways from the cubs.

"He calls us the Wastes, for we have no mutations. Our king cares only for the abnormal of us, and if they have no visible mutation once they are weened, they are thrown to me." She looks forlornly back at the cubs, snorting a bit when she sees that one of them had followed them over. It was the little cub with her new bone. She still looked grumpy, but she was sitting right behind Glaedr as if she were his shadow. Moogly chuffed at the sight, finding it adorable.

Glaedr looks sadly out of the cave for a few moments before collecting his thoughts and looking over to where the lioness is looking.

"That's no excuse to treat you like rubbish" He growls. He notices the cub behind him and smiles.

"Would you mind if I brought her home with me? I think she would love it there. I would take more, but I don't want to get caught, as you may get in trouble. I never did get your name?..." He says it as more of a question than a statement. He looks sadly at the other cubs as he say's this. He knows he will come back and bring more stuff with him.
