Backstory: Bongo was a nurse that trained under Talus every now and again but was thrusted into the position of healer when he left. He was fairly bad at it- And after losing a patient he was fond of in surgery during his time as head healer- he became selectively mute due to the shock and trauma.

He and domino became fast friends- As Bongo dosen't speak, And Domino never shuts the fuck up. But he doesn't mind. And looks up to the Healer a bit. Much happier to follow under his guide then be on his own.

Personality: Very fidgety and nervous. As well as extremely meek and shy. He's mostly seen in the healers den- and scarcely interacts with anybody other than Domino.

Other: He speaks using sign language, and also really likes beetles- and keeps a secret collection of them in the healers den. He also sometimes sneaks out to partake in beetle battles. Where he is feared by all.

Backstory: Nayla was born to a different pride- and traveled with her mother to sunbaked when she was very young. Her mother was killed along with her brother- and she was thrown in the cub den because she was belived to have overgrown teeth. When she was seen to have none- she was thrown in the waste den. She grew up there and managed to survive by hiding in shallow holes when Coy came around.

Personality: Nayla is very thoughtful and kind. Often putting others first. She'd overly apologetic and jumpy, often blaming herself when things go wrong. Despite this- she still likes to have fun- but gets nervous at the idea of getting in trouble- as it usually meant a beating.

Other: Nayla is near sighted- and cannot see far distances at all. Meaning she's not very good at hunting.

Backstory: Peril was born as a young female cub, but he knew for sure by the time he could mewl at his mother for milk something was not right. Peril's father was hateful when Peril told him he was sure as hell no Lioness, but instead a male. He wanted to run his own pride too, so in a fit of anger, Peril's father cast him away from their home to wander the savannah on his own. Peril soon meets a group of lions. Their names are Carrion, Rose, Thunder, Reese and Rain, who is everything Peril has ever wanted in a pride.
Reese and Rain had raised each other their entire lives, both parents killed by enraged elephants. They joined the pack when Peril found them during a flood

Backstory: she was born in the dense forest, yet she never took the time to learn about even the most basic of herbs. In the forest it was mostly peaceful, there was a good amount of prey and the water was plenty full. Until one day, both her parents where hunted by humans. she tried her best to hide but was shot in her tail. After getting away she went weeks without treating her wound, causing it to get infected. There was only one thing to do so she proceeded to chew her own tail off. This happened when she was about 2years and 11months old. After her parents death and losing her tail she made a goal to learn of all herbs. She is now an expert on the subject of all sickness and herbs.

Name: Esarosa, called Esa or Rosa

Appearance: Rosa is a leopard with a light, blonde fur / base, and light brown spots on her body, a long, hidden scar running up from her back leg to the bottom of her stomach, usually wearing bright red rose decor strung together beautifully, hung high on her back and low on her legs & arms, along with a red rose crown, taking the decor off when she hunts. The rose decor she wears has small, clear crystals imbedded into the string, shining beautifully to show off her riches. She wears a large pouch or bag when going to trade.

Backstory: Rosa was raised by her mother, who also happened to be a wanderer. She grew up in a vast, luscious green jungle, befriending all different kinds of animals- despite the barriers between them, she found it easy to pick up and start friendships, even easier to deceive and trick others. As she grew older, her mother began teaching her how to hunt and fend for herself, Rosa seeming to be good at it- her mother having high hopes for her daughters future, not wanting her daughter to be a wanderer when she grew older, as she found the life to be lonely, and repetitive, not wanting her daughter to have the lifestyle she did, nor to end up like her. However, her mothers dreams and hopes were let down when Rosa showed no interest in settling down at a pride and starting a new page of her life- causing her mother to have an outburst, hence the scar on Rosa’s body, then abandoning her and taking Rosa’s two siblings with her, hoping they wouldn’t “ fail ,” her as her daughter had. Now, Rosa roams around the jungle and different prides, finding it more fun to be a wanderer then to be bound to a pride. For all the years her mother had left her, she felt a strange sense of guilt, although knowing it was never her fault, she still felt guilty, as if it were her fault for her mother’s abandonment. Because of this, she has made it her goal to find her other two siblings, and perhaps apologize to her mother.

Personality: Deceiving and cunning, Rosa has shown to be sly and quick-witted, never letting others catch her off her feet, and not very easily deceived. As much as she is deceiving, she can be honest and forth-coming, usually shown to have two completely different sides to her. If she finds you interesting enough, she can be humorous and patient, along with honest in the relationships she builds. However, if you prove to be uninteresting or “ boring “ to her, she’ll go back to her usual self, untrusting and deceiving.

Other: She almost out-right refuses to have relationships with her customers, for which the reasons are unknown, seemingly just a preference of sorts.
Although she is uninterested in joining a pride, or anything relating to that, she has shown to enjoy the high life and money- buying and trading for luxurious things whenever she can, including jewelry and decor.
Enjoys presents and gifts- preferring jewels, diamonds, and expensive decor- even things that are seen as “ exotic “ or rare.
Has a fear of abandonment, seen to do just about anything to keep those she loves, cares for, or is close with, with her.

Backstory: When Nyoka was a child- he was taken from his mother in Asia by humans to be an exotic pet. Once he grew to be too wild, his owners released him back into the wild... except, not the right wilds. Nyoka struggled to live for a long while before coming across the mangroves thanks to the direction of the Mandrills.

He managed to do well for himself considering the environment was more something he was used to. He made his home in a small grotto-like area. This area has waterfalls that cascade into each other before turning into a pool. The rocky terrain that these waterfalls drift down is where Nyoka calls his den. He can mostly be found behind the waterfalls in the damp caves the water covers. The area is rich with flowers and decorations like skulls and vines. He also has many tools similar to Sleekwater and the agates. He's now known to be a trading hub of sorts.

As he has trained certain birds and other flying creatures such as bats to collect things of all kinds for him, including herbs, human junk, meat, bones, gems, and decorations. He often accepts payment in food or other herbs.

Personality:
Nyoka is charming and cunning, often seen as shifty and opportunistic. He's rather wise despite how he may appear, knowing a lot about herbs and other trinkets. He's been known to swindle those who are rude to him, often giving them faulty products. Along with this- it's been said he'll flirt with his customers from time to time, to make a sale. Some even say he's seduced and messes around with many powerful kings and queens in return for a steady stream of product. Very few know of him- but the ones that do treat him very well.

He's a bit afraid of commitment because of this- seeing love and affection as more of a trade than something that's freely given.

Other:

His shop is actually built near the large pool in the center of the grotto, it's made out of wood tied together by sturdy vines. It's shaped like a very wide stall of sorts with an overhang made of large palm leaves. Behind the stall is a shelf made in a similar fashion, filled with many different things. He has a stock den as well where he keeps all his products.

He has a very femmine frame, appearance, and voice- which lead many to assume he's a girl when first speaking with him. He doesn't mind this at all- and actually embraces the fact that he's a very pretty tiger, grooming his fur constantly and leaning into the fact that many are swayed by his charms.

He has no real recollection about his childhood. And barely remembers living anywhere else.

He's rather small for a tiger, actually being smaller than most lions.

He's rather reclusive and will not go out of his way to meet new people.

He knows of the Agates and Sleekwater but has no interest in getting involved with either of them (Yet )

His favorite flower is hibiscus of any color, His favorite fish is shrimp, and his favorite gem is fire opal. He’s also fond of clay.

Backstory:
She was born into the illegal pet trade. Her family and hundreds of other exotic 'pets' were stored within metal mesh cages inside a damp warehouse. She was the only albino in the litter and was quickly separated from her family before she could even open her eyes. Seeing as hyenas began to enforce the hierarchy at birth, the pups were hand reared by people who really couldn't care any less about the health or wellbeing of the animals in their care. She assumed her name was Brat and Shut Up, as that is what was always said to her when she was whining and beginning for food or comfort.

Soon as she could eat solid food and manage to kinda care for herself, she was bought by a rich family who had no business owning anything exotic. They named her Snowy due to her white fur and expected her to behave like a normal dog. At the time, the family had a shihtzu and two young children. There were no proper introductions nor real research put into this purchase and Snowy had no clue how to read dog body language as she had never had the time to be socialized. She was extremely nervous and snappish. One day, after being excessively stressed out by the children and left in the dog run in the heat, she killed the family dog. The dog had been yelling at her and hated her ever since she had arrived, telling her she didn't belong and wasn't worth the trouble. The shihtzu attacked her first, and she wound up with his blood all over her muzzle and paws. That was the last straw for the family. The father wanted to just take her out and shoot her, but the mother convinced him to set her free. She was taken far away from the home in a kennel and thrown out in the savannah. She would have died if it hadn't been for the mandrills. They are also how she got her newest name- Smokes.

The mandrills helped lead Smokes to the mangroves and orchestrated it so that she would bump into Nyoka when she arrived. Seeing as both had similar pasts, the mandrills hoped they would become good friends. Smokes has grown attached to Nyoka and has been inseparable ever since.

Friendly, skittish, a little ditzy, but usually willing to help

- She is albino
- When upset, stressed, anxious, or angry the longer fur on her stands on end. Making it appear that she has a mohawk basically down her entire back.
- She really doesn't know dog body language at all
- All she has of her time as a pet is some scars and a lamb chew toy. It is well worn and has long since lost its squeaker but she still brings it everywhere with her. It was her only comfort, but she keeps it hidden from everyone else.

Backstory:

Jade for a short time, was raised in an Southeast Asia wildlife reserve, before being captured by poachers, and was on the way to be transported to America to be sold onto the black market. Eventually when authorities found about the event they went after the poachers. When the poachers found out they ended up making Jade falling out of the poachers' truck into the mangrove before being arrested. Jade at the time tan as soon as possibly understanding that the wildlife caregivers were trying to bring her back home.

Personality:
She is friendly and entertaining, but can also be very selfish and a bit boring.

Other:
is a somewhat cowardly individual, more likely to run away from violence than confront it. Also likes the sound of beating drums, stealing one from a grotto

Geralt was originally born into a breeding program and was going to be transported to another zoo by plane that was going over Africa. But when complications happened during the trip the plane crashed. Geralt survived the crash and lives in the plane now that is now in hyena territory.

crude, pragmatic, and cynical but will be kind and caring towards Nyoka often bringing gifts for him from his “dead lands”
