Oh brother… she looked down at the pup. “I’m not your mom. Uhhh no m-o-t-h-e-r.” She looked at Ace with pleading eyes, “How the hell do you talk to this thing!?” Looking back at the pup, “Oh I remember! That word that Ace used! No fiderend!” she said confidently thinking she was saying friend. “Lion and hyena no… this is going no where. You have no idea what I’m saying.” She stood and plopped the pup in her nest bringing the mouse over to them again. “Stay!” She shook her head, what was she doing.

She padded out of the den to find some moss to make the nest more comfortable. There was that smell again. A strange smell at that! She padded on towards the jungle and the scent only got stronger. But what was it? Never mind that, she was looking for moss and moss she would find. She gathered some up and began the trek back to the den.

((She doesn’t know what to think of Rain lol! I think she has some attachment to the pup because they are little. But she doesn’t know what to do lmao))

The rude lion roared something again. Obviously confused. Then the lion said something worse then dragging lion. Supposed to mean friend? Maybe a lion's way of being friends is like hyena way. To tease and appear to be rude. Well that was what Rain's brothers and sisters did. The rude lion got up and walked out of the den. Rain had decided. Rude lion trying to be friend so they would try too. Once again they ignored the pain and creeped outside of the den. Once outside they stayed behind the lion's tail. Rude friend lion. Rude friend lion sniffed the ground and pawed at some moss. For nests maybe? They slowly made their way towards the rude friend lion's paws. Chomp. Rain clinged onto the front left leg gently and giggles.

She yelled out as the hyena bit her. “What the hell!” She shook the cub off and shoved them back into the cave, carefully not to hurt them. “Bad! Stay!” She pressed the moss into the nest and she the pup back in. “No fierdned, stay.” She laid down and curled herself around the pup. This was going to be a long night.

Rude friend lion pushed them back into the cave and roared something. Then tried to say friend again. Rain continued giggling and rolled onto their back. The rude friend lion laid down next to them.
"pronounce like friend not fierdned! You strange lion. Like yous anyway." Rain sighed and snuggled next to rude friend lion. Soon dreams full of not darkness...but not light either, filled Rain's mind.

She placed her head gently on the pups. Hopefully this little one would sleep so they could begin to heal. She grinned slightly and then pushed the thoughts away. This pup would grow into an adult hyena, a killer. But maybe they weren’t all bad. She sighed and rolled to the side, exposing her belly. Her stomach growled. Hungry again, but that would have to wait. Besides, she was getting a bit plump. She could wait till they woke up. And with that she drifted into a dream.

((She’s not getting plump lol, she’s got cubs on the way and refuses to believe it.))

The male growled at the lioness. Beau flinched. Useless and dumb? Was that a joke? It had to be one of those couple teases right? She walked closer instead of further this time.
"If this is a bad time I can leave!" She said politely. The den was a bit dark and cobwebs were in corners but if it's a pride in making it should get better. Beau dusted away some mess with her tail while she waited

He watched the chaos unfold around him, sitting by Cliff who still seemed to be frozen in a state of fear and confusion, they hadn't processed the situation yet. Jackal patted her head as she fell over immediately. "Well then, get some rest." He sighed, watching Grape and Bamboo plays even with the size difference.

"Alright let's go then!" Slick bounced to his paws padding over to the river with Warrior and Marble. He looked around his nose catching a whiff of a rabbit. "There's a rabbit over there we'll start by trying to catch that." He stalked a bit closer to where the rabbit is before stopping "Ok warrior place your paws like mine and stalk towards the rabbit. Make sure not to step on any twigs and when you get close enough pounce on it and try to snap its neck to secure the kill" he whispered to warrior "Me and marble will go around to the other sides in case it runs away from you" he said the two of them stalking off to get behind the rabbit

“Zeus, she’s right here,” Hera said urgently, flinching a bit at his callous and cold words.
“Uh…” she bit her lip and glanced at the lioness. “No, it’s… it’s not a bad time. He gets a bit crabby when he’s sleepy, that’s all.”

Warrior nodded. He crouched down and tried to get as close to the rabbit as possible but he came out of hiding pretty early and the rabbit got a chance to run. The other animals got scared because of the lions and started causing chaos.

But we might want to leave before we're trampled by those other animals" he flicked his tail sitting up. "How about we go somewhere else? There might be some prey farther down the river" he said as marble picked up the rabbit. "Want to eat now?" Marble muttered the rabbit muffling her voice

It was a rude way of asking to join or not. But she got it. Sleepy lions are grumpy ones maybe?
"I um uh. I would like to join. I apologize for waking you though. I can just stay out here and clean for you..." Beau continued to sweep the ground. She had an extra fluffy tail tip which helped. She felt almost awkward at this point but shoves all the bad thoughts aside. She had a pride now.

She jolted awake. It must have been a bad dream. She looked around and then at the sleeping pup. Hopefully she hadn’t woken them up. She grinned at the pup and then shook her head. None of those thoughts. She stood carefully, trying not to wake the pup. It was time to hunt.
She padded out of the cave and off towards the jungle. She caught the scent of a hare in the grass. She crouched down and sniffed for the hare. There. She inched closer. Snap! A twig broke beneath her, but she was barely close enough. As the hare started to run she chased after and caught up to it right as it was bolting for a hole. She grabbed her prize and sat under a tree, enjoying her meal. It wasn’t much, but enough to tide her over.
