:: Karr :: __the shaman lion__


Laying in the ferns, Karr was focused on the small pile on moss under his paws. Using the sharp mittens he wore while working he carefully separated each individual leave from the mat. It was tedious work but the leaves were the most important ingredient for a strong draught to encourage sleep while the root mat was much more mild and very bitter. At least to a predators sensitive tastes. When left together it hardly amounted to much so he usually just took the leave, to lessen complaints and save on space.

Otter padded through the territory of what seemed to be an abandoned pride. She scented the air smelling a couple of lions that were still around. There seemed to be one male and maybe 2 females. She shrugged her shoulders reaching into her pouch and grabbing one of the mice she'd stuffed in there eating the decaying creature before padding on. She reached the area that seemed to be the pride's camp padding towards the smell of the male who seemed to be in charge "Hello there I was just wondering if I could stay here for the night" she said flicking her tail at the male

Dove padded out of the cave, trying to keep her head held high (although she looked ridiculous and uncomfortable), and a lovely scent wafted up to her nose. She stopped just a few feet away from the cave to sniff again. 𝘡𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢, she thought excitedly. Dove headed towards the smell of a zebra close by. She took a left and crouched just before it looked over to her. The zebra sniffed the air. She was upwind, so the striped creature shouldn’t notice her very quickly. She crept closer and just as the zebra spotted her, she leaped out of the underbrush where she was hiding. One simple bite of the neck sent blood rushing out of the limp body. She dragged the carcass towards the cave proudly. Dove stalked into the large cave with a proud expression on her face and several lionesses dipped their heads in approval.

Warrior nodded "You're right!" He said as he ran away, even faster than Marble and Slick!

Zeus
Zeus growled "Why are we getting so many useless lions?" He muttered then turned to the lioness "Sure but you'll have to join us for the rest of your life!"

(I hope everyone knows that joining Zeus means death)

Slick and marble followed warrior stopping a bit farther down where they spotted lone gazelle. "Ok warrior this time we'll hunt as a team" he said crouching down. "Me and marble will pounce on it from the front and you pounce on it from behind"

"Well in that case I'll leave" she said standing up and attempting to walk out of the prides territory flicking her tail as she passed by the male

Harlow | Female | 3 Years 2 months | Bi | Mentions: Pride, Open

She tilted her head to the night sky, looking to the stars. “I miss you mother.” she whispered. It had been 2 years since her mother was killed and she thought of her often. She had made the ultimate sacrifice to save Harlow. “One day I will be as selfless as you.”

She padded towards the jungle again and began to collect some more moss and set it on some large leaves. These would make the den more comfortable. She placed some of the hare’s fur on the leaves as well. With the stems of the leaves in her mouth she began the walk back to the new den.

As she approached the den she paused for a second, looking around. This was only temporary. *Kick* She gasped, ‘What the hell was that?’ she thought to herself. ‘Was she… no. Maybe… She couldn’t be. Not at a time like this!’ Her mind was racing. Could her encounter with that male all those months ago have lead her to be pregnant? She would have to keep this to herself. There was too much going on. That must be why she was gaining weight and feeling more sluggish.

She shook her head and padded into the cave, collecting the fur and some of the moss for her nest and carefully placed it in, trying not to disturb the pup.

DAPPLE

She watched the male from afar. There seemed to be two lionesses with him. She had witnessed the whole thing, but she found him more interesting than the pride. She always favored lions who were strong and dominant, even if she often fought with them. She stayed in the tree, although she climbed trees rather bad, this one was a smaller one.

"Fine if you don't want to join a pride, you can still stay!" He said to Otter

Warrior shook his head "Not gazelles! They are very fast and we are slow, even Acetone has a hard time in hunting those!" He said to Slick "Maybe we should rest for a moment then hunt something like a zebra!" He told the lions .

“Mind if I stay as well, my fanged devil~?” She rolled onto her back, her eyes staring from the tree. Her voice was ever so flirty yet emotionless as it hit the breeze. Her bright piebald patches could be seen through the shadow of the tree.

“Depends if you treat me like that pride~” She shrugged, she was a bit unsure, but was willing to risk it. If she aimed her coat just right, her fur almost could glow in the bright sun, that was her little trick.
