The rescue center welcomes you in and eagerly ushers you inside, allowing you to take a quick look around as one by one they bring their resident canines down into a common area so that you could meet them one by one, and decide which dog would come home with you today.

You enter the rescue center and immediately feel the hopefulness that lingered in the place, with the volunteers running back and forth figuring out paperwork, leaving and returning from vet appointments and setting up for their newest guests. There's a smile on their faces as they bring out three potential new housemates to the pen for you to meet!
(I do have these dogs finished but I do need to run to school, I'll edit to post them when I get there!)

You and your dog make their way to the dog park, which Moe finds exciting as you make your way to the car and drive, a Rope Toy firmly clamped in his jowls as he sits in the backseat, his tail hitting the interior of the car door repeatedly. Upon arrival the two of you play for a long time, but when you then attempt to taper off from play and try to teach your husky a thing or two, he stubbornly bolts off to the other end of the dog park and rolls around, inviting another dog to play with him and practically yanking them off their feet as he stubbornly refused to let go of the toy. You find yourself a bit frustrated and end up going home seemingly without having made any progress with his stubbornness. At least you two had fun!

You manage to get a leash on your husky, Moe, who is excitedly jumping circles manically next to the door as he comes to realize the two of you are going on a walk together. As you make your way down the street he practically pulls your arm out of your socket as he strained to be able to see and smell everything as fast as he possibly could. As you continued, you're stopped by a street vendor who notices your plight and offers you a No-Pull Harness to apply to your husky!
"Let everybody know! They'll be in the local shop soon!" He calls out and lets you and your dog head around the block and then back home.
You received a No-Pull Harness (Primary Color: Black, Secondary: Pale Yellow).
This item prevents your dog from pulling during walks and while training for competitions, eventually stopping the pulling habit entirely. Basic Obedience Training and In-Depth Obedience Training are both automatically boosted 20% toward completion.

For your third trip you leave your dog at home, heading down to the building and greeting a tired-looking animal control officer, who does a quick look at the identification you brought in, runs it through the system and you leave with a permit to enter stray city. Wasting no time, you make your way down to the abandoned blocks, quiet aside from some distant barking an a seemingly endless patter of paws. You wander these streets with a hopeful gleam in your eye and some much needed food in your pocket, and you're soon see a dog poking its head out from behind a dumpster to look at you. She seems distrustful of your presence but is curious enough to approach, and you offer out your hand for her to sniff knowing full well you could get bitten. Instead she reaches her paw out and barks at you almost demandingly, and you oblige to give her a treat.

@Herbicide yes you may! Your Shiba is excited to come home with you and explore your home turf!
Consider finding a name for your Shiba! Take as much time as you need.
Please remember that before 48 hours after adopting a dog you must have a collar, bed and at least one toy bought for it! You can find these items in the Shop!

Bau excitedly stands at your side as you leash her and open the door to take her out on her walk. She does her best not to pull too much but weaves back and forth and around your legs before you even get down to the end of the block, so you have to stop consistently to untangle yourself. As your walk comes to an end she manages to wrap her leash around a tree running after a small animal, and after getting her free you decidedly take her home.
Unfortunately you didn't find anything on this walk, but at least you got out some of her energy!

The adoption center invited you down to see the dogs they currently have kenneled. Among them there are three that are ready to be rehomed, who are moved to a larger pen so you can get to meet them one on one.

@VanishingMuse Your new poodle seems to adore their new lilac collar! She finds a rope toy with some lilac coloring weaved into it among the toys in your toy box, which she held onto throughout the trip home. Upon getting there, she cautiously inspects her surroundings and appears to search the house for dangers before decidedly finding a bed to lay on and taking a rest.
Consider finding a name for your poodle! Take as much time as you need!
