Flamingpaw, half awake, felt the warmth of the sun on her fur. She let out a soft sigh and buried her nose into her fur. Her long, spotted coat swayed slightly in the small breeze, causing it to ruffle slightly.

(okay so there hasn't been activity for a couple of days so imma start again, so since Shattered'kit is shattered'paw now, Marble'Fur is back to the warriors den, I think? Correct me if I'm wrong, then I'll edit what I wrote)

Marble'Fur:


``Marble'Fur yawned, stretched and opened her eyes slowly. She had awoken in the warriors' den, after her kit had been announced an apprentice, while she was on a hunt and searching for moss. Marble'Fur had been incredibly proud of Shattered'paw, but was devastated that she hadn't been there to watch and support her kit. She looked around, the other warrior, Shade'Feather, was sleeping. She stood up and walked out into the open camp, sun rays hitting her fur and warming the cat up.``

"What a great way to start the morning."

``The she-cat spoke, more to herself than directed towards anyone, since she was the only cat up, or at least outside. Maybe she could go to a hunt and bring back a couple of mice... She decided for that, if she was quick she's be back before anyone noticed her leaving. Marble'Fur walked towards the exit of the camp, making sure to not be too loud, as to wake another cat.``

Flamingpaw opened her eyes. Where was the sun? She hadn't slept for too long, right? She flicked her eyes over to the warrior's den as Marblefur stepped out, muttering to herself, something about the morning. Wait. She sat up quickly and looked around, blinking. She wasn't in the den. She was in the clearing. Sunlight shimmered through the trees, landing in blotches around her. She had overslept. She groaned to herself and her ears lowered. Of course she would take such a long nap that a whole night had passed! Why hadn't anycat woken her? She grumbled to herself and turned her head to clean her fur.

Marble'Fur:

``She had reached the exit, leaving the camp. Marble'Fur started jogging (if you can call that slow running for a cat), only stopping when she was a good bit away from the camp. The she-cat breathed in the fresh air, filling her nose with all different kinds of smells. She was going to start the hunt with a nice bunny. So the marbled cat began following the smell of the bunny, walking up to a bush. She looked up seeing the bunny eating some grass-like plant. It didn't seem like the prey has noticed her yet, so she went into hunting stance and slowly creeped towards the bunny, making sure to stay in the direction the wind blew in, so that the little creature couldn't smell her. As she was close enough, she jumped, her paws clawing into the bunny's fur, and quickly bringing it to her mouth. With a quick bite in the neck, the bunny was dead, lying Infront of her. "Nice", she thought to herself.``

(Little time skippppp)

``Marble'Fur had kept hunting until she had a bunny, two small birds and a mouse together. She pick everything up and decided to return to camp, because by now, at least a couple of other cats should be awake. When she returned to the camp, she found it thriving. Many cats were walking around and so she quickly brought her prey to the fresh kill pile.``

Flamingpaw finished cleaning her pelt and stretched, her belly grumbling loudly. She jumped up and trotted over to the pile, grabbing one of the small scraps of prey left. Returning back to her spot, she gobbled it down, licking her lips. She looked around, getting bored. Why's nocat up? She rolled her eyes and yawned.

(After the time skip)

Flamingpaw converses with some senior warriors as she waited for her lazy mentor to wake up so they could go out. Her tail flicked slightly as she talked and listened, her eyes flitting to the warrior's den every now and then. She turned her head as Marblefur walked into camp with some prey. Her ear flicked and she turned back to the warriors.

Marble'Fur:

``The marbled cat had just dropped her prey on the fresh kill pile, when she saw the young cat, Flaming'Paw. Marble'Fur smiled at the other cat, hoping that maybe they could hold a little conversation, while waiting for everyone to wake up. She walked over to the apprentice, neatly sitting down and curling her tail over her paws.``

"Good morning Flaming'Paw. How are you today?"

``The she-cat moved, waiting for an answer.``

The senior warriors moved away and Flamingpaw turned her attention to the former queen. "Good morning, Marblefur. I'm alright, though it seems that I took a much longer nap than intended." she frowned. "How about you?" She asked, her tail tip flicking slowly.

``the warrior smiled``

"Good that you're doing well, but I sure was awake early and even now that you are awake, there are still some cats sleeping, so don't worry too much. I'm doing great, thank you."

``The marbled cat looked at the younger softly, the she-cat was worrying too much, even some warriors were still sleeping, so she really has nothing to panic about. She hoped that the other was going to become more confident about her actions with the time, but she was almost sure that she would.``

"Are you waiting for your mentor? Or for someone else? You seem to be looking back to the warriors' den from time to time.."

Flamingpaw gave the warrior a small half-smile.

"Oh, no. I don't mean I overslept this morning, haha. I fell asleep yesterday around sunhigh or so for a nap. My mentor was supposed to wake me so we could go hunting. I guess he didn't and I slept through sunfall and I just woke up a bit ago."

She laughed, glancing again at the warrior's den, and, as she did so, her ears lowered slightly.

"My mentor is supposed to be awake by now. I know he's a bit of a lazy flea, but this is longer than he slept in yesterday." She rolled her eyes. "I'm not surprised, though. With how much he bounces around while talking, he's sure to tire himself out."

She blinked.

"Oh then it might have been a long nap, but that's okay. And yes your mentor is a bit of a lazy flea, but remember to respect him non the less! You can be glad that you are talking to me, some others might have been angry with you about the bit of disrespect you just gave, even if it was just a joke."

``The cat sternly looked at the apprentice, making sure that the young cat understood what she meant. Then she relaxed back into a smile again, she didn't want to punish the other for such a small "joke".``

"Do you want me to go check if your mentor is in the den?"
