Before Cottonmouth could say another word, Beryl had appeared behind him, raising her hand and clenching it tightly around the human’s hand that was holding the gun. “Call her a whore one more time, and I will break your wrist.” The tiefling snarled. The guardian was usually one of benevolence, but it seemed this cowboy took it a bit too far.

Aether
She ran after him, almost losing him. She was somewhat startled, but she gave him some space. She was quite unsure of what to do, so she just watched.

Fuyumi
Take deep breaths- OH SCREW IT. She ended up freezing everything within a 6 feet radius, (not including Beryl) including an unfortunate patron. After seeing who it was, the patron turned pale, and backed off, but watched the scene in front of him. Clearly seething with anger, she nearly punched him in the face, but controlled herself.

Kaeya
He headed toward the tavern, intending to take a break before visiting his daughter. However, he was greeted with shattering of ice, and his daughter standing over some guy with a murderous glare. He gingerly stepped forward (in a human form), and watched the scene from a first row seat, intending to help his daughter if he was needed.

Yuri
|Yuri sat and started to sob, not uncontrollably or loud, but heartrenching sobs. He also kept scratching at his skin, as if it was suffocating him or causing him pain. Eventually he stopped and turned around to face Aether. |"She was so confused, Aether. I could feel her burning. She was so full of life, her roots were so strong. But she was set ablaze, ablaze! By some FOOL!"|Tensing his claws in the turf, he started to take deep breaths as he entered a meditative state. All composure lost, his antlers were glowing with a dark, seething black color mixed with deep green and grey. Slowly, slowly, he calmed down. With each deep breath Yuri seemed to shrink, until he was angry no more. Back to being composed, his horns dimmed and his eyes were less murdery. |"I am sorry, you must think me a baby or crazy."| Averting his eyes, he turned and faced the river, staring at the long form laying under the gentle current.|

Cottonmouth
|(Shit, Shit, SHIT!) At first, he could handle being grabbed, he had another gun after all. But that freeze spell, overkill! He couldn't even move! Flicking his eyes around crazily for a few seconds, he finally thought to call on tumble. Within moments, his baby was here, and angry. Cringing at his raging voice, he urged him on just the same. But when Tumble threatened to breath FIRE while he was still in here, a note of panic entered his eyes. (Well Shit, this wasn't how this day was supposed to go.)|

Tumbleweed
|He could hear the commotion going on in the tavern, and could feel the urgent calling of Cotton. Within seconds, he crashed into the ground and seconds later he was at the door, frantically digging to get in. Finally managing to shove his head in, he roared with the force of mountain gale. |"YOU LAY ONE FUCKING FINGER ON HIM AND I WILL LAY WASTE TO THIS ENTIRE TOWN AND PURGE It OF FLESH AND BONE!"| Redoubling his efforts, he managed to scramble one clawed hand in, and yelled again. |"UNFREEZE HIM OR YOU ALL GET COOKED"| Behind him his tail was thrashing like crazy, the wickedly barbed tip stabbing into the wound trying to find entrance. |

”You, and your damned dragon, can drag your asses out of this tavern and away from this town.” Beryl growled at the taller man. “If you are to continue to pose as a threat and possibly endanger the island’s residents, then I’ll drag both of your asses off of this island myself.” The tiefling threatened, shooting the furious dragon a death stare. No one was going to endanger her island. Not now, not ever.

Aether
She tilted her head. "Why would I think of you so? I saw how badly it affected you in the memories. I would offer you a hug, but physical contact isn't something you like...So, want to go find the fool?"

Fuyumi
"Tell him to keep his mouth SHUT, or clean it out with soap, then." She snarled right back at the dragon. "What, are you scared we'll hurt him? I asked him politely before, but if not, I'll be quite obligated to use him as a human shield. Dangers to this island MUST be removed, by ANY means." Her tail lashed back and forth, causing the tavern to slowly freeze over, and cause the people there to evacuate through the windows. Except for one guy...wait... Shocked, she turned to get a better look "FATHER! ARE YOU TELLING ME YOU WATCHED THIS WHOLE TIME?!??!?!?! WHAT IS THIS TO YOU, A SHOW?????"

Kaeya
Holding his hands up in protest, he said "To be fair, I was going to step in, but that young lady beat me to it." He nodded at Beryl. He calmly stepped forward, putting himself between Tumble and, well, the tavern. "Now, why don't we talk this out? Unless you'd like your precious human to be frozen over? Don't forget, two of us have dragon blood. Fire is a little...useless here."

Yuri
|Yuri stayed silent for a time, then spoke sotfly, like sand falling. |"I know who did it, I lived the trees life before it died. I know who did it, but I don't seek revenge. He is...hurt. And so he wants others to feel pain so he doesn't feel as bad..."| Shaking his head, he looked in the direction of the town again. |"There is a something big going on, but no pain yet. I feel, magic, and anger. So, it is a fight of some kind. I- I just don't know what's happening. But that's not important. I'm going to sit vigil here for a few moments longer, or until the tree's spirits finally depart."| Flicking his tail, he kept his gaze upon the river while he spoke. Each word seemed to drop from him like a great weight but were delivered with tenderness and almost a sanctity, almost as if he were trying not to speak loudly.|

I loaf how calm it is over here while cotton being frozen and Tumble is threatening to kill a whole town.))

Cotton
|Cotton watched the whole scene unfold in front of him. (What a bad day, man, how did this all happen.) Mentally sighing, he tried to flex his body but to no avail. He could feel the ice weakening, but he would have to give up his advantage to break it. They didn't know he was still awake, or at least, he hoped they didn't know. Tumble knew but he always knew what Cotton was thinking. He saw the glint in Tumble's eyes in respond. So while his dragon provided a distraction, something dragons are quite good at frankly because a dragon is hard to ignore, Cotton began to slowly clenched his muscles until he felt the thin sheet of ice begin to give way.|


Tumble
|Roaring with pure rage, Tumble began to try and snake his claws into the building as a cat might to grab a mouse. His hooked claws snagged viciously on the wood and splintered the stones, but didn't do much more than cause sparks. Growling, a sound like a wyrm eating gravel, he spoke |"If you touch him, I will fill your SKULL FULL OF VENOM. LET HIM GO NOW!"| Roaring again, he tried once more to reach Cotton, but he was much too far away. |"You limp backed bitch! Instead of standing up for yourself honorably, you FROOZE HIM! Couldn't even take a little bit of heat, huh! You filthy, crow gutted, sack of horse shit!"|

”SILENCE!” The tiefling roared. The emotions of the incandescent dragon, her fellow guardian, Fuyumi and her father, as well as herself were overbearing. It would only be a matter of seconds until she erupted, but for now, it seemed Beryl was able to handle it. Beryl could sense that the ice that coated the snarky cowboy was beginning to give way, and in order to prevent him from slipping away, she elevated her arms and tightly clenched her hands around his shoulders as to prohibit him from slinking off.

She sat right with him, grieving the life lost. She hoped the fight had a happy ending, but it probably wouldn’t

Fuyumi
"oh...? In that case, you wouldn't mind if I freeze his lungs too, right?" (she couldn’t help adding) Deliberately, she spread the ice into thicker and thicker sheets, carefully covering the nostrils enough to give him discomfort, but not enough to die or pass out. Bargaining, a deal all of its own. Minding her fellow guardian, she froze over her emotions too.

Kaeya
"Hmmm, now, that's not very nice." He happily rebuilt the walls with ice, over and over. Then, he tackled Tumble and turn back into his dragon form, lifting his claws and intending to rake it down his throat, but settled for that pesky tail. After all, situations were complicated. Besides, venom isn't pleasant. "Honor won't save people's lives." He latched on to Tumble's tail, shaking his head back and forth.(Feel free to stab him)

Yuri
|Standing by the grave for a few minutes, he contemplated the life with the tree. It wasn't a very active one very interesting life, but it was a long and beautiful one. Most importantly, it was LIFE, it was living. How could one destroy that, who gave them the right. Yuri could never understand, wouldn't allow himself to ever understand. Because if he did, he would be a monster. |"Look at you Aether, standing beside a dragon you never met, letting him grieve and grieving with him. Most would yell at me for being so pathetic, for grieving for something that no one cares about. I guess, what Im trying to say is...thank you."| Smiling up at her, he stretched. It had only been moments, but when you're sharing someone's life, it feels like years. Suddenly exhausted, Yuri stumbled slightly when he got up. Shakily standing, he spoke again. |"That fight is getting worse, I sense...pain."| Taking a deep breath, he started walking towards town again. |"They are hurting each other, I must help."|

Cottonmouth
|(So this is how it ends, huh Cotton. Frozen by some nobody out in the middle of fucking nowhere. Well, at least is was fun up until now. Wonder what Tumble will do without me, probably go back to the family.-Sigh- Wish I were nicer to him.) When the one gal had placed her hands on his shoulder, he knew it was probably over. And when the other began to freeze multiple layers over him, he knew it was over over. (What bitches, holding a hostage. What am I saying, not like I haven't done it. Still, would've thought they were "above it," being guardians and all. At least I assume they are, they got them magical powers.) As he got colder and colder, he looked down to see Spitter's hemmer get frozen, ruining the mechanism from it's perfect stage. He had fiddled with it and had gotten it just right. Guess it didn't matter now.|

Tumbleweed
|Roaring at the sudden attack, Tumble went feral, completely feral. His last thoughts being (Uh oh bitch, now you've really done it!). Screaming, a rough, animal like sound of both pain and pure pleasure, Tumble wrapped his wings around the other dragons head. He may be bigger and stronger, but he probably aint been in a real fight before. Surely he hadn't been in the ring, that made him weak prey for Tumble. Using the claws at the ends of his wings, he sunk them into the dragons skull, right below the head and into the base of the spie. If he moved them to much, they could cause some serious damage. As of right now, the wounds were superficial, yet painfull. |"Let go of my TAIl, you son of a bitch lizard fucke-"|The rest of his words, being probably cuss words, were lost as he screamed in pain and tore his tail from the other's talons. Then, he prepared to strike him in his back, right above a major flight artery that would immobilize the dragons wings. |

”No..no! God damn it!” The guardian hissed. ’What idiots!’ Beryl thought to herself, gritting her pearly white teeth together with fury. Every time she told everyone to shut up, they continued. It was as if she were invisible to them or something. “Well, too late now. It’s not like they’d stop attacking each other anyways.” Beryl grumbled, releasing her grip around the stranger’s shoulders and watching as he fell onto the frozen wooden flooring with a loud thunk.
