Aether Deciding she should get up, she gave herself a few shakes to get the sleepiness out of her eyes. She stretched her wings, and launched off. Flying was always great! She flapped her wings once, and then swerved to the side, avoiding a big tree. In front of her was a lake, so she dived down, attempting to catch a fish. In return, she got a mouthful of water and a few fish. Landing down in the other side of the lake, she shook herself out like a corgi before snapping up the fish. Nothing like fresh prey to make the day! Being a little lazy, she used her powers to spear a fish and ate that too. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Forevertail Forevertail gave his companion a subtle nod in response, before lowering himself a few feet so it would be easier to spot the storage huts without the clouds getting in the way of their vision. Once they began to near the huts, they straightened out their wings and dived downwards toward the ground, making sure to land as gently as possible so neither Kestrel nor any of the animals would be affected by the ear-piercing crashing sound of his feet meeting the earth's surface. 0 players like this post! ~☆Akuji☆~ Akuji had already taken care of his thirst by taking a few sips from the cold stream, He looked around as he flicked his tail trying to figure out a good resting spot for him to take a quick nap on, He eventually got his eyes on a tall tree nearby that connected itself to the forest, Akuji rapidly got closer to the tree, Although he wasn't the best when it came to climbing he could still try, The young male launched himself on the trunk of the tree, He extended his talons as his sharp silver claws got stuck on the thick wood, Akuji tried to get his talon away from the trunk, The male dragon eventually hissed loudly as he flapped his wings rapidly trying to get off the tree, The young male didn't know any better rather than to panic thinking that it was another creature holding onto his two main claws, Akuji Helplessly roared at the tree, after all the harsh movement that he had caused he suddenly fell back as he pulled away from the trunk, He hissed as he fell on a rock with a few sharp sides, The rock made a small but slight deep cut on his back, Akuji rapidly got up and ran away from that tree thinking it wanted to 'attack' him, His talon was sore and his back had a small cut which was letting a few drops of blood stain his silver scales as well as the snow below him. 0 players like this post! Yuri |Sighing, he rolled his shoulders underneath the warm rays of the sun with a small grunt of pleasure as his muscles relaxed. Beginning a few basic warm-ups stretches, he got ready to do his morning exercises. Starting with the Rimgar, or the Dance of Snake and Crane, within seconds he was covered in a thin film of sweat. Panting now, he picked his way down from his cave and emerged into the glade below. A count of 20 heartbeats later he was at a small, secluded pond where he bathed, reveling the cool water on his heated body as he splooshed into the crystal clear water. Padding out, he shook himself dry, and found a small not too muddy patch to sit. Tentatively, like a mouse when hawks were above, he opened his mind and reached a tendril of thought to all life around him. He could pick up the whisps of thought from insects, the candles of mice, and the bright glare of squirrels and foxes. Moving among them like a ghost, Yuri read each one's emotions, jubilant with their gains, and sorrowed at their losses. Enveloped in this embrace the soon lost track of time, he simply surfed on the energies around him. To the outside world, he was simply sitting with his eyes closed. ~☆Akuji☆~ The young male licked his lips as he growled quite annoyed already from all the chaos which had just happened a couple of minutes ago, Akuji turned his head trying to lick the small wound on his back but he certainly wasn't flexible enough to reach his back completely, He pinned his ears down with a tint of irritation on his face, He then returned to the stream where he was at before the whole 'tree-thing' Akuji lowered his whole body into a crouch-like position before he jumped in the cold body of water, Akuji let out a sigh as he felt the cold temperature of the water reach every inch of his body. 0 players like this post! Aether Happily running around like a hyperactive squirrel, she set off in a crazy flight. She zoomed around, barely paying attention to where she was going. She nearly crashed into a few trees, but she went higher to where there were less trees. Diving forward, full of energy, she noticed Yuri just in time, and pulled a hard left. She tried to control her flight, but tumbled over in flight. Crashing against a tree, wincing, she said hello to the new dragon, trying not to disturb him, whispering. Also, her ribs kind of hurt and she was out of breath. “Owww…Hi! My name is Aether! Yuri |Yuri watched everything in a mile radius around him. Observing all and no one, knowing all and nothing. Simply existing in the endless dance of thought and emotion, reveling in the unknowable that was tangible for only him. Well, only for him unless he gifted it to someone else. Suddenly, a bright flare entered his realm, and he honned in on it within a beat of a hummingbird's wing. Discovering all he could on it, he watched it like a hawk, and as such, he didn't realize it was coming towards him until a flash of panic shot through it like a thunderbolt. Wincing at the sudden pain, he careened sideways, throwing himself down and using his tail to shield himself from the flying dust, leaves, and twigs. Cautiously, he lowered his appendage and inspected the she. As always, it was a strange experience to have shared thoughts with somebody, to have held intimate contact with another's mind without them knowing, and yet not knowing what they look like. Yuri inspected her head to toe and removed himself slightly from her brain as to only feel the slight current of her emotions. He didn't want to be rude, but he often had trouble communicating effectively because instead of watching facial expressions or tone for feelings, he inspected brain waves and feelings on the inside. So he kept a general tap on her emotions. While all this was happening, he simply gazed at Aether with a weird look on his face. A look that appeared as if he was staring at stars, or a campfire on a lonely night. Unfocused, yet crystal clear. Tearing his eyes from her, he glanced at his paws before returning his sight to her face. |"I know your name, and no thanks is required, Aether."| Flicking his tail, his horns glowed a very pale yellowish purple with a slight light, like a shuttered lantern.| Ahhh, no! Shifting his gaze, he looked out over the lake he was meditating over before. |"No thanks is necessary, no harm was done to me. However, if it suits you, the tree you crashed into is hurt."| Flicking his tail, he closed his eyes once more and resumed his former pose. Although, he didn't go into his exercise again, simply waited a few more seconds and did another scan before heaving himself to his paws. |"If you will excuse me, I must finish my morning, miss Aether. if you wish to acompany me, that would be fine, but I am certain you have business to attend to, so I wont keep you."| Stretching, he padded back into the direction of the lake that was only moments away while his horns started to glow a dirtyish gray hue. Reaching it, he dipped his paws in his embrace and started to hum a melancholy tune to amuse himself as he pondered something. After a few repetitions, he added a in a quiet voice the words. |"If only if only, a woodpecker sighs, the bark on the trees was as soft as the skies. If the acid rain, that drips and burns, would be banished from our, great, great Earth. If only If only, the wolf prowls below. Hungry and lonely, all alone. He snaps and he bites, ravage and break. But it won't bring his pack back, again."| After he sang for a few minutes, he turned his face to the sky, uttering what sounded like a prayer. Aether Her head snapped back up at the mention of the tree being hurt. Turning her head around, she noticed there was a little bit of a bark explosion behind her. Carefully using some moss, she covered the bark hole on the tree. She listened to Yuri behind her, and noticed the particular lyrics. They were almost depressing. She turned around, curiously watching him do these strange things. When he turned back to where she was, she wondered what his name was. Everything he did made her curious, but, especially here, some dragons didn’t like to talk about themselves. For example, not so far from here was an old bear. He loved to speak with dragons, but not so much about how he got there and why. This new dragon seemed a bit disconnected from this world, but not really. Hmmm….how to describe it…? Disconnected from other dragons in a way. Like interacting with other dragons was weird. But he seemed to be very connected to nature. Like….like those human hermits that live on mountains for years! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yuri |He watched her inquisitive mind dart around like a bee surrounded by pots of honey. it would land in one, but before tasting, crazily it would dart to the next. His antlers dimmed for a second, before reflecting mix of colors, purple, yellow, pink, then purple again. The colors would shift endlessly, dancing and twirling to their own music. Tilting his head slightly, much like a dog, he pushed his mind into her, inspecting her thoughts like you might a many page magazine, reading over sentences, then rereading. Skipping over some and focusing on others. |"I can tell you are curios, what...are you curios about?"| Righting his head, his antlers tore down a branch from the tree. With a wince, he grabbed it like it was glass, and placed it back where it was. With a bright, shining light, the branch reattached itself. Yuri's horns glowed a bright yellow for a second, before abruptly turning of as if a switch had been flipped. |"Stupid things."| he would mutter to himself without any real anger. Closing his eyes once more, he focused on Aether, although he facing away from her, he could see her mind clearer this way.
