|Struggling to keep control of himself, as not to burst down into tears, Yuri took a deep breath. Then another, then another. From the outside, it seemed he was simply off in the void again, but inside it was a tough fight. Eventually, he won. Quelling the anger and sadness and shoving it back into it's padlocked cage. |"I was there....when it was destroyed. It's gone, Miss Moon. I-"| Taking a moment, Yuri had to focus on himself to prevent any leakage of emotion, either in his voice, or in his face and body. |"The entire world shuddered when the monarch was felled. Fire, fire was simply everywhere. Not a single branch went un-kindled. Not a single leaf smashed underfoot. The vicious smoke resembled a human town, one where their factories spat out their hatred in the sky. But still, it did not die. Only when the fire faded, and they poisoned it did it start to slip. The smoke was the first sign, the tremble in our connection the second. It was as if the string of some great instrument was plucked in our hearts. We knew. We had left her unguarded to aid in the war with our healing. We thought no harm could come of one so grand...who would dare....We never found out who. He had killed the "Lionih" (linoah), the spirit guardians. Then proceeded to kill the tree. Our enitre civilization was wiped out while we were gone. I was one of the first ones black. I can remember the husk...that was all that remained. A husk of ash. Our towns were smashed under her great weight. The sky was torn and bloodied from where her branches once reached, the earth ravaged and cratered where her roots once laid. Most of the elders, the wise and protected, died when the tremor happened. The shook of the blast sent ripples so large it stopped their hearts. I was too young at the time to suffer any damage, but I could still feel it..."|Shaking his head sadly, his voice remained tranquil as it most always was. During his whole speech, not a flicker of emotion crossed his eyes nor did a croak or crack disturb his speech. |"It was confused, angry, regretful. In it's last moments, our mother could only think about her children. It spoke to us as it died, as hit had so many times before. In it's last moments of life it gave us a secret. One that we still guard today. Well, i say "we." it's really just me."|

Eclipsed zoned out for a second as she was hit with the strength of yuri's emotions before he bottled them up.
"Oh... there is always a chance though some of the tallest branches might''ve broken off before they got poisoned and they might be able to be replanted and I've see multiple trees fall from fires but still regrow from either roots or branches that broke off," she said remembering the tree her and her parents had planted that she saved from the rampage by taking a twig from it and replanting it in the soil

“No, you haven’t…I simply have nothing to say, for once.” She stated, somewhat serenely, calming observing Yuri. She felt sympathetic to his suffering, but it hadn’t been the first time she’d heard such a story. She felt quite sad, in fact, but she really had nothing to offer. She tilted her head, wondering what exactly to say.

|"Yes, every year I take a three week pilgrimage to the site. Nothing grows within a hundred miles of the tree anymore. |With one more deep breath, Yuri smiled again. |"Aww, but it was long ago. Miss Aether, Miss Moon, let us go talk of happier subjects yes? I have both some tea and should have some bread and biscuits, why don't we-."| He stopped suddenly in the middle of his words. The faraway look invaded his eyes again, blank and unfocused. |"Ah, there's another dragon nearby, and something's riding him. Presumably a human as their precense is extremely faint. They are about a mile away but heading this direction. "|After a brief pause, he continued, |"I'll need to start another part."|

Cottonmouth & Tumbleweed
|After his bath, Cotton sun dried in the center of the open field. The entire time tumble kept asking him what would happen if someone flew by right now, and Cotton kept saying |"It'll probably be the best day of their life."| After that, the two tussled around a little bit before heading off side by side in a random direction.|

Beryl exhaled through her nostrils, her elf-esque ears flattening themselves against the sides of her head. “I..I don’t know, if I’m going to be honest. I..” The guardian abruptly trailed off at the end of her sentence, a lump forming in her throat. The pending silence lasted for a brief breadth of time before Beryl chose to speak again. “I..I guess I thought things were going to go slightly better, which.. definitely did not happen.” Beryl drawled, loosening her reins and pinning her gaze upon the blonde mane of Mimosa’s. “God, why are all men the same..” She whispered, sinking the side of her face into the equine’s thick, blonde tufts of hair.

Forevertail

Forevertail would be hovering several yards above a rather diminutive barn, his two pairs of wings flapping every once in a while to keep the pace of his flight steady and composed.

For some reason even the dragon wasn’t sure of why, he always liked to visit this barn in his free time to ransack a good portion of the red apple and oatmeal treats that were given out to the horses if they exhibited good behavior and/or if their rider just felt generous. Pinning his two pairs of wings by his side, he sped down toward the red building and landed on top of the roof, causing for anyone who may be inside to think there was an earthquake occurring. Laying himself flat on his belly and spreading his wings out, Forevertail began to sunbathe.

Blue had been rather close to a nap but at the sudden shaking, they jumped up from the now crooked hay bale and cast her eyes upward where dust was starting to shake from the ceiling. " Oh god! The ceiling is going to fall in!" They were yet to realise that being a ghost, such occurrence wouldn't cause any harm.

He flicked his ears, and then stared at her for a second. He then turned his head back to the front, and leapt over a rock, barely brushing it with his belly fur. “I’m a man too, you know…” He said somewhat awkwardly, ears slightly back. “I’m a sentient full-grown male.” He swiveled his ears, and added something else. “I get what you mean, though.”

|Using one of his three clawed hands, the dragon clawed at his ears a few times to relieve a persistent itch. Checking his surroundings with a mental scan, he confirmed that there were indeed two lifeforms coming roughly this way. Unknown to him however was that this was the Dragon and Cowboy duo from before. Smiling as the prospect of new visitors, even though he dreaded company, made him slightly giddy. Padding softly along the hardwood floors, Yuri suddenly sensed a wave of...sadness coming from Aether. Stopping suddenly, he looked back at Aether. |"Are you alright miss? You seem, ah...what is the word I am looking for... Affected? I am worried..."| Flicking his tail Yuri frowned slightly. Sending a probe at both Aether and Moon, he got a feel of their emotions. |"...Maybe confused...was it something I said miss, if so, I am dreadfully sorry Miss Aether."| Checking on the meandering progress of the newcomers, he calculated the time they would arrive. Several minutes at least, by his reckoning. Focusing more, Yuri noted that at least one of them was a dragon of decent size, the other, he was still not entirely sure. Returning to Aether, he wondered what she was actually thinking. Maybe she pitied him, which is something Yuri defenintly did not want.? Maybe she though it was just another sob story? With a soft smile, Yuri spoke once more |"If I caused any harm of offence, please, please know that doing so was the furthest from my intention. Or, did you simply have a question?"|


Cottonmouth & Tumbleweed
|The duo were simply walking in taking in the scenery. it was definitely beautiful country, however, it was filled with weirdos. though that wasn't necessarily uncommon, especially in these wilder parts of the world. Occasionally the two talked or remarked on something, but mostly it was a quiet walk spent in peaceful company. Although the entire time, Cotton's hand was on Spitter, and Tumbleweed kept looking at the sky.|
