Hello! This is a walkthrough of statting a groupie and stuff. It can actually be used for non groupies too so don't let that stop you from reading!

Statting a groupie is what I call a labor of love and dedication. You're starting from the ground up so it's a challenge. More importantly it's very tedious and can make a person pixel broke fast if they're not prepared. Worth it though I promise! Hopefully with this thread more G1's will be higher statted.

I got curious and did a search. Found out that as of 6/11/23 there are only 5 G1 kings that are 8k+ stats. Let that sink in for a minute. The selection of available G1 kings also affects muties like Dorsal Fur , Smilus , Felis, and Ferus. Those mutations don't come in G1. There's no MoD for them either. To introduce new blood into the community G1 kings are important. High stats help you in battle but we'll go more into detail of why later.

I know there's various statting guides with items you can use and stuff but I've yet to see a guide that goes into a lot of detail for one of many ways to go about actually doing it. I occasionally watch chat and i see folks just getting into statting asking various questions sometimes. That gave me the idea of this. It actually reminded me of when I first got interested in stats. Most of this is from me going back to that time and remembering my own first experience and what I wish I knew. For this i'm using my time with Symphonic Melody as well as what I've observed from others. You can use this thread to help plan your own way to high stats. ^_^

I originally got him back in 2019. Didn't really have a big desire to stat him up so I only casually patrolled him. Took a sudden hiatus late that year and returned January 2023. I picked up a interest in statting so this turned into my very first serious attempt. I hit the gas so to speak on patrolling. In 2023 he did a average 16-18 patrols a rollover. I limited my roll days to where I was able to patrol him that often. I suggest you do the same if you're wanting to patrol that much. It'll take longer to finish but it'll be worth it in the end.

This walkthrough goes over the following topics
- lifetime
- Patrolling stage
- Kinged Stage
- Heir time!
- studding
- Items to stock up on
- Making Currency
- Game plan
- Words of encouragement

Before starting you'll find it easier if you have 2 accounts: a "main" and a "side". if you'll be limiting your rollovers I suggest making that account your "side" since you won't use it as often as the other account. If you're new to Lioden you're allowed to have 2. It's greatly encouraged actually so you're safe!

❗WARNINGS❗

Before jumping into some serious statting it's recommended to test the waters a bit first. That way you know it's a commitment you want to make. Start off with a G2 cub with 1-2k stats. Once kinged it'll give you a good starting point and the cubs will still have fair stats. (Not much can top the feeling of driving down a road going 80mph then suddenly having to stop. Doing a not so serious trial run helps to prevent that.)

Burnout is your biggest enemy. For a full tryhard statter you're going to be spending a lot of your focus on your lion when its rolled. Rollling irregularly helps with life balances and gives time to prep at your own pace.

Love your king. With a full lifespan your king will probably live for multiple real life years. Outside of applicator traits, you're stuck with his looks for the duration of your statter's life. It's recomended to have a king live a full term as a non-statter before making the commitment to ensure you're happy with his looks as well as his average cub output. (Take some time to do a little mass breeding that way you get a better idea of what the cubs could look like. If the cubs appearance turn out unfavorable you still have the chance to pick a different look for your future statter. Don't think about what's popular or anything. Think about what you like since nobody will be looking at him more than you.)

Excellent guide. Probably the best guide I've ever read.

As an event grinder, I don't know if I could bear to not roll both of my accounts daily, lol! I absolutely love patrolling groupies all day long, though. To maximize their potential without breaking the bank, I feed them low-tier stat items that I wouldn't have to buy. 1 Kudu Horn each day since I have a ton from explore, and 1 Turtle Egg as well. It's really easy to get them if you have a negative karma king and explore in Shrublands. There's a hyena(or AWD?) you can chase or roar at - chase gives 1% impression and roar gives you 1 Turtle Egg. It's a pretty good low-budget stat item, though it causes a noticeably higher Smarts stat because of it being only stat they give.

Hello Lunarknight! This is an incredibly helpful guide. I'm currently juggling a lot of balls just because I'm interested in a lot of different projects, but I think I really have to put one down to avoid burnout. I'm curious if you would be willing to share your roll schedule, or a screenshot of it, just so I can get an idea of what you're doing here/prioritizing?

The main reason I'm asking is because I'm realizing that I've been rolling my side too often when I don't have the time to dedicate to patrolling my groupie. Usually because I want to participate in events.

Thank you so much for creating this guide, I would have been totally lost without it! ❤️

Thank you for this guide! I'm not going nearly as hard as most other plays on statting my boy but he's definitely earned a fair amount! I like to be able to enjoy the game and the events and not just grind on statting. Regardless, thanks again for this guide! Here is my heir that I'm so excited to King and he wouldn't be where he is now without this!

Hiya. I don't know how I missed your reply. My sincerest apologies! I understand trying to balance multiple projects. I'll DM you in a minute. ^_^

Hiya. You're fine. I know it's a lot of info to take in. There's a medium chance of getting 0-1 stats in speed per Fluffy bunny Carcass. Egg yolk has a high fail rate but you have a chance at getting 1-15 stats when it's successful.

@ Chooka (#116701)
Hiya. I'm glad you found it useful. That's very understandable. You don't have to be a hardcore statter. I just don't have much of a social life since I moved out of my home state years ago. Lol. It keeps my mind occupied when I have free time. I found it easier to stock up on GB and stuff prior to kinging my stat sub. That way I'm always at least 1 step ahead financially. Right now I have a bunch of stuff to sell , around 75 energy boosts, 168kSB , and 1.3kGB stashed away on my side; all for leveling. Your boy is looking good. 4k+ is definitely not bad for kinging! Good luck finishing patrolling him. Hopefully RNG will be nice to you. ^_^

Hello! Ive been testing the waters a little w/ my 1k stat sub and ive decided I wanted to train up my own g1 stat monster! I'm gonna be starting the process of patrolling a groupie once may hits.
I was looking through your progress log for symphonic melody and I saw that you got him to level 19 in a single day! I always struggle with levelling, personally, so I was wondering how you managed to gain so many levels on his first day?

Hiya. It always makes me happy to see a high stat groupie. I wish you the best of luck!
Lots of energy boosts, the occasional lucky foot, some EXP items, and catnip. For levels 2-19 it took 142 boosts for Symphonic. In my log I put down how many energy boosts and Fermented Marula Fruit I use a level(s). It's not guaranteed since your RNG luck could be different. Might take more or less. ^_^

This guide looks super helpful! I came to the forums to look for a comprehensive list of stat and exp items to work on the g2 ferus heir I just got (38 stats at birth ) Super validating to see that my instincts were almost spot on but there are still several tips I would never have thought of
