No support. I don't really see a purpose to it, I guess. I'm not the kind of player that will breed lions just for the hell of it - I want specific bases and markings. So for me, and plenty of other players, the random cub is almost 100% going to be chased.

I agree with Sakasu - Dreamboat males currently have the benefit of every claimed lion being in heat. This would directly contradict that.

Plus, the lioness would have to have been chased for this to make sense (or be useful in any way), otherwise the cub would have to have basic NCL traits as well. Yuck, lol. The encounter specifying that the lion has a buddy would thus indicate that she's a Chased as well.

No support for reasons stated by other users, but also this would likely be a coding nightmare for the Lioden team to implement, and would not be very popular among the userbase as a whole. In my nearly 11 years of playing this game I can confidently say it's a feature I can see most players finding annoying, especially if the lioness was a chased.
On top of that, that's a whole heat wasted, cub or no cub.

TLDR; No support, both for previously stated reasons and the fact that it's just not practical to make a reality.

It's not the same because said cubs will appear again AS adults and not cubs.

That doesn't really make sense because the suggestion is about claiming a lioness with a cub. No where does it say that the cub would be an adult. Either way I would not support even if the "cub" was an adult. We have catnip which can up the chances of finding lionesses to claim, so if you need more ladies you can find them a lot easier with that item.

Readytest, I think you misunderstand the suggestion. They dont suggest chased Cubs to have a chance to be found in explore as adults. They suggest that, if you claim a lioness, SHE has a chance to have a random cub with her, when she is claimed; so you get 2 lions when you claim, lioness+her cub. Nobody chased that cub, it would just generate a random one.

No support for the general idea; what if you DO want the lioness, but dont want her to come with a cub?
What would happen if your Cub territory is full? There'd be a place for lioness but not cub? You'd be unable to claim her?

It'd be a cute idea if a lioness has Decor of a cub attached to her, especially if it was an NCL exclusive decor; then it'd make sense to claim her + get a cute decor with her. But the actual cub, that is what's been rejected by the admins.
