What if dreamboats had the chance of claiming a lion with 1 cub? It would be very rare to find (only mom would show in heritage) this would be like a 10% of finding

Well it would say this lion has a buddy do you want to claim so it won't be a surprise so you can skip her if you want

This suggestion has 10 supports and 36 NO supports.

Maybe the father of this cub(s) could happen to be one of your sub males sometimes if this was implemented

The suggestion of sub males being able to breed is already on the list of suggestions that will always be rejected, so unfortunately the suggestion that the cub(s) father is one of the player's sub males wouldn't be implemented either.

No support because in real life lions would naturally kill other cubs not belonging to their bloodline, also, it would annoy the heck out of me if I wanted the mum but had 0 interest in the cub. I'm a mass breeder, when I do mass breedings I can easily have up to 780 cubs at once - not including any I am waiting to age up already. Whats going to happen if I have space for the mum but no territory? It's just a poor idea.

@Readytest - I recommend you read the already rejected suggestions.

Well, yes, but what if you were aiming for a pride like what is in TLK?

The Lion King however does not show any unnatural lion behavior?
We've never seen any lions out of the pride get adopted into an unrelated pride. Even in TLK2, Simba does NOT adopt Kovu when he's younger, more than that - he attacks and roars at him when seeing cub Kovu near Kiara. Only the fact that Zira showed up have saved Kovu's hide back then, Simba was nowhere near accepting and understanding. SO yeah, even in TLK, the nature is still true. Simba was ready to attack Kovu for coming near Kiara. If Zira werent there, Simba wouldnt hold back - he only does not munch on Kovu because there's his mom right in front of him, and if Simba killed him right away Zira would attack and possibly wound him. Not worth the risk.

We also see Scar attempt to kill Simba what, three times?
1. By telling him about the elephant graveyard, which makes him go with Nala, where the three hyenas are waiting.
2. The wildebeest stampede.
3. He sics the hyenas on him after telling him to run away and never return.

Whilst he doesnt get his paws dirty himself, the murderous intent is there - even with Mufasa dead, hes still trying to take out the competition of a male cub.

Well, that was one lion -- an evil one too. Maybe Simba wouldn't do such thing?

Simba literally threatens Kovu for getting too close to Kiara, he is only saved by Ziva jumping out at Simba.
He also would have killed Kovu instead of exiling him if it wasn't for Kiara.

I think you need to go back and watch the film + sequel.

Clearly not, as Simba was going to kill Kovu until Ziva hopped out lol

I made a bad take on it, but I do think the real reason was that Zira was supporting Scar and now that Scar's gone, Simba is suspicious of Zira and her cubs so he exiled them, either that, or Scar's attempted murder influenced him in a bad light.

Also, we don't see any other kings or Queens, nor their own actions about cubs not in their bloodline ( unless we're talking about the Tree of Life in the Lion Guard ), so we don't truly know that it is always what's happening.

Regardless of realism and kings killing cubs to get females back into heat(a common thing with several animals) claiming a random cub in explore is really just useless and unneeded. There is no shortage of cubs that might benefit from a randomly generated one from explore.

If you want to adopt a random cub, the tree is full of em constantly nowadays lol. We don't need a random potato from explore

It doesn't matter, the murderous intent is there in both films, regardless of reasoning. I dislike The Lion Guard/Tree of Life and refuse to partake. In the past two weeks, there's been a video going around Facebook of an alpha lion literally breaking the spine of a male adolescent, just because he *might* be an issue in the future. New alphas kill rival cubs, period.

As the above commenter says - you want a random surprise cub, that's what the tree is for.

I don't want to risk claiming a lioness + cub, and the lioness is a gorgeous chased girl, but the cub is a potato. Why the heck would I want to be stuck with a cub that isn't mine, that I can't dispose of for at least 1 hour after claiming (which I'd probably forget to do and then be stuck feeding (which costs me money as someone with typically around 400 lions at a time).
