the cleft palate dies due to malnourishment since it can't drink the milk due to it spilling BUt the "Gooder" the personality is the higher the chance of her covering the cleft so the cleftie can drink. with good being the highest at 100% and evil is the lowest at 0.1%. |

I'm sorry but the mom dying in place of a cleft palate cub is even worse. Keep 'em coming 0 players like this post! Like? |

Readytest did in their reply, "[...]what if, instead of the cub dying, the mother dies instead[...]" Unless I'm misreading. I had a very long workday 1 player likes this post! Like? Edited on 09/08/23 @ 19:13:47 by peepy (#48100) |

Whoops! I didn't see that! The suggestion of the sacrafised mom makes 0 sense imo. And it'd be more depressing. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

You could use a jellyfish, safou fruit, assign a broodmother that isn't Overprotective, or nature reserve/chase to cancel the possibility of the mother's death. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Still, 0 support on the idea of the mother dying in replacement for the cub. Makes literally no sense for the mother to die in place of the cub tbf. 4 players like this post! Like? |

Also, even if we used irl examples on that idea of the "overprotective" mother dies, in animals, the baby would die unless there was medical action taken to the cub. The mother would not die. In humans, the mother also would not die, you simply get surgery. My mother, and my grandma are still here, both have given birth to a child with cleft, my grandma had 2, neither of them are dead. Not even my uncle who has cleft. It makes no sense to make the mother die or the brood mother. 7 players like this post! Like? |
