Flora stared at the map a little longer, deep in thought. Then looked at her arm. “Let’s get moving now. I saw some nasty clouds moving in when we found the cabin, so we should try to get to the bunker before the storm breaks out.”

Abbi burped. "Sure, let's get outta here." Abbi picked up the few things she had unpacked and put them away. "You ready?" Abbi asked. Flora nodded and they headed outside. They trudged along the moist grass, wet from morning dew.

A bit past noon they settled down for lunch.

Flora attempted to eat a sandwich with her left arm. “Do you think I did the right thing? I mean I’m not infected anymore but like…” the held up what was left of her arm and shrugged. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.” She looked around, taking in her surroundings.

"You'll get used to it alright," Abbi told her "As for wither it was right or not, i can't say. But you sure looker cooler."

Flora laughed with Abbi. “I guess so!” She stood up and stretched. “This is a really pretty area” she commented while turning in a circle to take in the beautiful forest area.

Flora was right. The were admits a beautiful flower field. An entrance to a wood was just a few hundred metres away and the golden sun shone brightly. "It is." For a second, Flora thought she saw sadness in Abbi's eyes, but she brushed it off. " 'ight," Abbi said getting up and giving Flora a noogie, which was followed by a punch form Flora, "Lunch is over!"

Flora finished her sandwich while Abbi packed up. "I do all the work now you've lost you arm, i don't think it's really all that bad." Abbi smiled. Flora laughed and they set off.

A small raindrop fell into Floras hand, “we’d better hurry, I think the storm is gonna start soon.” She looked up at a large tree in the forest. “I’ll be right back” flora shrugged off the bags and started climbing the tree. Even with a missing arm, she managed to make her way to the top and look over the forest. There was what appeared to be a bunker nearby, next to a cave. She slid back down the tree and told Abbi what she saw.

Abbi followed flora to the bunker, and they slid inside quickly. Abbi shut the door and everything went dark. "Seems the power in this place isn't working." Abbi felt for somewhere comfortable enough to sleep on, although her standards were low now, and lay down. "Goodnight." Abbi said sleepily. "Goodnight." Flora said too.

Flora awoke in the night to sounds of Abbi crying.

Flora put her hand in front of her to feel around the bunker, when she found the other bed she sat down. “Abbi… Are you okay?”

" I'm fine." Abbi sniffed. "Don't worry."
Flora new she was hiding something. "Abbi what's really going on?"
Abbi was quiet for a while. "I j-just miss Daniel. I know it was years ago, a-and i should be over it," Abbi paused "But i just feel so lonely without him."

Flora sighed and found Abbi’s hand in the darkness. “No, don’t force yourself to be over it. It’s not easy… plus this is no environment to grieve. You haven’t even gotten a chance to properly grieve.” She paused, “I guess what I’m saying is, don’t beat yourself up over it. You have every right to still be sad about it…”

Abbi sniffed. "Thank you." she smiled, although Flora couldn't tell. " I've been such a cry baby in front of you recently." Abbi said. Before Flora could reply, the light flickered on and they heard a noise at the door. It opened and two men stepped inside.

Flora stood up and pulled the dagger from her pocket. Even if these people lived here, they could still be hostile. One of the men pulled out a gun, but Flora stood her ground.

" bastion," One said, "Calm down."

" Hello ladies. What are you doing in our bunker?" he smiled.
