There was a mixed reaction, and we've taken that on board. We went back to square one - we'd like to get your feedback on a new design that we've created, heavily inspired by the current layout - just spruced up a bit, and modernized to use more current web technology! Some Notes: * This is not the final iteration of the layout, it's a preview build - there may be minor issues that will be fixed, or things that we rearrange. Please don't worry about bug reporting or making suggestions for repositioning at this point - we're looking for feedback about how the layout as a whole feels to you! * This layout should be fully mobile responsive, including the lion images and their layers * We are about 99% of the way with color contrast accessibility, and the new accent colors (buttons, progress bars [hunger, energy, etc]) should be colorblind friendly. * Alerts can cause a problem due to very similar brightnesses so icons have been added to alerts to counteract any bad interactions with colorblindness. * Layout Preview Settings: At the bottom of the page there are two options for layout settings. * Text can be resized to your preference within a range. The current default text size (90%) is the most similar to Lioden's current text size. 100% will be the new default when this layout launches, but we will automatically set everyone who is a member at the time to 90% so it's less of a harsh adjustment right away. The plan is that when the layout is implemented, this will be a setting on your account that you can change at will. * The site's theme can be changed to the game's existing layout themes (Day/Default, Night and Desert) and there is a new Dark theme. We are still tweaking Dark theme, and it's important to note that Night and Desert are lower contrast themes and may cause accessibility issues. Preview a Lion Page View the Theme Elements Page Bonus: Landing Page (Xylax is unhappy about the age of the art we've used, it will be updated ;D) Please give any and all feedback within this topic! Not the biggest fan…I like the way it looks I think it’s more clean and easy to look after and it’s also not as bubbly and bulky as the new one. I really enjoy how this one looks right now and would love to kept it 2 players like this post! Like? |

Idk about the lion layout...it looks good and all but maybe a bit too..childish? Maybe thats not the word but if feels too oversimplified, and a bit disorganized, for some reason I feel like its larger than our current lion layout, unnecesarily larger and feels like Im missing information about my lion. Is pretty and all but I still would prefer the current one to stay. Im currently seeing it through mobile, I'll come back after I've checked it on pc to see how it looks there. As of the theme elements page I dont understand it? Like I've been playing lioden for 2+ years and dont get what it is for, if its a revamp of an old feature, a new feauture or what. 8 players like this post! Like? |

There are a lot of things to love about the new layout, I love where the nursing cubs are located now, the find a stud and reverse breed buttons, and just how more modern and current it looks in general. Drawbacks... I wish the add marking was located up with the markings and reveal fertility back up higher. I personally wish the Equipped decorations could be done away with and taken to a smaller section where basically it is just " Decorations Equipper" Which opens up a new page with all decoration & background info you need including what is currently equipped etc. I think that a lot of the feedback I have read is coming from a place of " I don't like change ... I don't want to scroll more on my cell phone". Myself personally, If these changes make maintenace on the site easier for the lioden team to maintain I am all about it. That means that time is then freed up for event enhancements, appearance, marking, item and lion (maybe even a new mutation or hybrid) development. I will get used to whatever changes are made if it is for the good & development of the game & while I know this thread is supposed to be about feedback, Lets be constructive in that feedback & still appreciative of all of the hard work the devs & team put into everything they do on this game. 4 players like this post! Pros: Absolutely LOVE having a find stud option for a lioness in heat!! It seems generally more organized and is preferable than the last option that was presented! I also like seeing what decors are being used more easily. Cons: Don’t love how the lion’s appearance is so far down, I think it makes more sense to have that higher up? Also the page feels excessively long, which is understandable since there’s so much information but… don’t love having to scroll so much every time I need to access something on the bottom of the page. 3 players like this post! Its very long to scroll through on mobile. But i do really love the feeling: its much softer and much more "warm" if that makes sense? I like the feel of it. But DEFFINITELY NOT the new decor layout. That is way too busy. The decor images is just way to much. Perhaps if it (and a couple of other things, such as info and action) had an "expand / collapse" option too. It would be much better. I agree with a lot of people here, it’s too chunky and disorganized on mobile. A lot of the things on the lion page could easily be shrunk down or put together to reduce the appearance of an excessively long page. And same with the king stats and everything at the bottom of the page, it’s way too chaotic and large. And then another thing i personally don’t like, is how there’s like random bright colors (dont get me wrong i do love colors, these just feel so random; on the lion page, the decor equipper options, and then the feed, interact and breed options) even when you set the theme to desert those buttons are still bright yellow. For example the only bright colors for me rn (i have the desert theme set) are the experience bar and the hunger and mood bars. This also was from a while ago but bring back the old gifting design thing  the emojis are so random 2 players like this post! Like? |

Could we perhaps get a separate tab for decors, like we do on Wolvden?  I understand you want to keep the designs different, but its really convenient to have all decor options on a separate tab, that opens when you click it! 0 players like this post! Like? |

im not too big a fan of the new designs …. the current one has more charm to it , the newer one seems more child-like ( if that makes sense LOL ) and its just a bit cluttered overall … its also a TON of scrolling for a mobile user omg 3 players like this post!
