The logic for moving Former Prides to the left as well was to stop it being accidentally clicked on and therefore wasting players time - I did say in my post I would rather it be removed/returned to a link but it seems that was glossed over!

If it were feasible I'd love a "lefty" and "righty" option lol, but that would probably be a bit tough to implement and difficult to design too! Haha

My only input currently is that everything feels very... "Same"on the the lion page, and therefore it's hard for me to read the info.
It's difficult to process because it feels like a ton of info all squished together without a lot of gaps.

The issue I have with this layout is how it looks on mobile. It's not half bad on desktop - even though it's a pretty big change, most appearance info is still visible in one place.

But on mobile, all of the information is just so spread out, and you have to scroll and scroll to see everything that was previously displayed in a few easy-to-read boxes. The breeding information is too far down and I think the nursing cubs box is unnecessary. I'm also not a fan of the new markings display, having to scroll to see everything past slot 9.

Also, the new dropdown bar - info bar, I can't think what it's called? - is too big on mobile! With the current design, it takes up less than half the page, but the new one has it taking up nearly the entire page. Decreasing the font size to 80% doesn't help this much.

Messages, journal, modbox and such shouldn't be behind this dropdown bar either. I prefer them at the top of the screen beside the player's GB/SB count. Please accompany the icons used for wiki/journal etc with the words as well, as the icons alone don't communicate what the button leads to. And I think modbox needs renaming on mobile? The question mark icon reads as 'help' when on desktop it reads 'modbox.'

The movement of the logout button is very good though, I've accidentally logged out far too many times while trying to click a button beside it. I like the new pop-up journal a lot.

@@Terrinthia [G1 Jellyfish] (#97101) - I mean this recode has already been years in the making/promised to us years ago, I'm sure people don't mind waiting longer for more accessibility options!

However, to be honest, I don't know why they don't make the pages customisable/drag and drop so people can customise their lions pages to THEIR liking, I really don't want to hear "but that would be soooo hard to code" when another browser sim I play has done it as far back as 2015ish! The code already exists, I would wait further years for this!

That would honestly be the simplest solution imo to make everybody happy, redesign the new buttons and shinies, and then let people place them how they choose and be able to "lock" or "unlock" if they need to change it. I personally for example could not give two monkeys about heritage, or decor, or stats (including hunting) so personally would like to be able to remove them entirely from MY page layout.

I'm gonna make this a little more comprehensive -
I really don't like the new design much, some of it feels out of place and is too cluttered and confusing. It doesn't feel user-friendly to both new and old players. For context, I am on mobile 99% of the time, so there may be parts of this that are moreso mobile issues
Landing Page:
I actually quite like how professional this looks. It's a very friendly face to see when you enter!
However idk how it looks on browser but - on mobile you have to scroll a lot and it looks kind of odd beyond the top. Idrk how to describe it. The bottom part of the page could also use a bit more in terms of background. The color doesn't appeal to me, but even then, the photos get sort of lost. It also feels sort of uneven because of the amount you have to scroll.

Lion Page/etc:
A larger font does definitely benefit some, although it can contribute to the cluttered layout... I'd personally prefer a smaller font; maybe a good midpoint is being able to change font size?

Everything is too close together and without a reasonable disconnect between info it feels squished and harder to find info. The page feels like it takes away from the lions themselves to an extent. The length of the page really is a detriment imo v v
Especially on mobile, there is way way too much to scroll through. Two columns for info instead would be easier and redos on certain button placement could really help it, especially if the info that is most useful is prioritized in the layout

Lion photo needs to be bigger. It's rlly small, at least esp on mobile, and the lions themselves are central to the game. We should be able to see them! Especially when so many people spend a lot of time and currency putting work into their lion's design ^^
Now that I'm looking at it this is the part that's REALLY turning me off. The buttons feel giant and in your face in comparison to the lion photo
The font is also def making me go blehh. I totally understand if it's being used for accessibility purposes but otherwise it feels off.

I saw someone compare it to Wolvden layout-wise* (not stylistically) and honestly yeah. I personally don't like that and it gives me a headache to scroll through; it's overstimulating and I'm sure it may be for some other folks
My primary reason for mentioning this is that I actually physically have no motivation to play Wolvden because of the trouble that I have navigating it.

There are some quality of life changes I really like about it, like the "find a stud" button and generally its use of colors- I am warming up to it a lot the more I see! It's BEAUTIFUL on PC - I just saw a screenshot. But I still think tweaks are necessary for mobile, it's so cluttered.

For the record too, some of this should probably be taken with a grain of salt, I suspect I'm neurodivergent so there's definitely some fear of change as well as some strong feelings of overwhelm associated with some of these layout changes... Although now I'm looking forward to it a bit more! Thank you for all ur hard work 💪

i feel the layout change is too busy, too crammed, forced together, too round and quite ugly, i believe it would be a waste of time and effort to change so much, i much prefer the old layout as a mobile user as this new proposed change is extremely difficult to navigate and really hard to see !! i think it looks good as it is currently with no recoding or editing please do not change it
the find a stud button and reverse breeding buttons are the only things i can say i enjoy

I really like the current layout so so so much more than this proposed one, I don’t think I could happily play the game if this new layout was implemented. It’s so cluttered and confusing to me, and it’s not very mobile friendly at all and that’s my main way of playing. Even at 80% size on mobile everything seems way too big and forced together. It’s so much bigger and it takes forever to scroll to the bottom on mobile and it just doesn’t feel right at all. I love the idea of breeding items showing, and the find a stud and reverse studding, but everything else I hate. I feel the same for both the lion pages and the theme element pages, even the landing page just looks so cluttered and overly huge.

As a mostly desktop user, I kind of wish everything was smaller. Looks like even with the font set to 80%, I'm going to have to scroll in order to feed a lioness or take an action in Explore. Right now, I have Lioden scaled down to 90% to avoid some of the scrolling, but I wish I didn't have to because it scales down the art as well.

In particular, I feel like the empty space up there above the Lioden logo is too wide? The redesign so far doesn't affect it but maybe it could?

Like others said, the new interface also feels sort of cluttered with information and actions. It's good to have everything easily accessible (loving the new Find Stud button!), but maybe more info boxes could be collapsible? That way, everyone could hide the stuff they personally don't use very often

Edit 1:It's difficult to navigate on mobile. It's way too cluttered on lion pages and theres so much. I don't think everything needs its own box, it makes it a bit overwhelming to look through. I think some things should be combined into a single box like they are now. That woild take away the unnecessary amount of boxes on the lion page. I think some buttons like heritage and view all cubs definitely don't need to be their own separate boxes. I've only had a chance to look at mobile, and it really does not look like it'll play well on a phone. I'll look at it on my laptop when I get home later, then I'll update this comment.

Edit 2: Just looked at the lion page again and I don't like how the messages and all that other stuff have been removed from the top bar beside the SB and GB counter. Nothing wrong with that, I just personally dislike it. I do like how Den, Crossroads, Hoard and everything else have icons beside them now. But again, moving everything into the same bar just doesn't look nice on mobile. I already have trouble clicking where I want to go, adding more there wouldn't help.

Edit 3: I think it looks nice on a laptop. It all fits perfectly and looks really nice and perfect on a laptop. It still looks way too cluttered and out of place on a phone because of everything being in a separate box, but on a laptop it looks amazing.

Edit 4: I was looking at it again on my laptop and realized that there was no save button in the setting area, and I noticed that the settings area also doesn't collapse anymore. I'd also like to ask where the biography would be for other players? It normally displays right above the settings bar, would it still be in that spot or would you move it? I was also a little confused why the "add a marking slot" and "reveal fertility" were at the bottom of the page instead of being beside the things they are usually beside. Does anyone know why they are like that?

Edit 5: After looking at it a few more times, I think I'd be okay with it. It's still a hassle in some areas on mobile, but it's not terrible. I greatly struggle with change so this was very startling at first, but I thought about it and now I don't think it's too bad.

Okay so, a few things as a majority mobile player.
Overall i like it ! Its way cleaner and easier to understand than the previous one.
However one note on lion pages: Its too goddam long on mobile. Like the amount of stuff we have to scroll past just to get to see the lion genetics and find specific things.
I do think it works nicely on computer, but for us that play the game more in mobile it just makes things more handy/difficult to do :( I feel like there could be some adjustments to make less boxes in mobile at least.

On a side note, props to the different font sizes. I'm visually impaired (i barely have vision through my right eye and sometimes i rely on screen readers) but having the option to make the font bigger really helps for not being obligated to use it on here !
