They both agree to it quickly, not that she had any doubts.

"Perfect then." She says, deciding that they'd make a good group. Hunting, and she'd make sure to check out the patrol as well. Froststar mentioned the southern border earlier and how it didn't look like a good place to go, so she'd like to refresh the markings there, maybe it would be best to set them by the end of the treeline and no further.

"Aldergrove." She refers to the elder specifically as she moves to leave camp. "I'd like you to take Badgerpaw with you in the Western part of the territory to hunt. I'll join you two in a bit."

She suspected that the route the kittypets had taken might be a long one, so she didn't end to tire either of them out, especially if they were meant to be hunting, a task that required as much energy as possible. She'd also be making a detour to remark the borders, and hauling them along seemed unnecessary, she was sure she could get through it much quicker. Plus the western territory was good for hunting, so that made the most sense.

After exiting camp, she returns to Froststar's side, waiting until there was a pause in the conversation to speak quietly to the leader. "I sent them on ahead." She informs the leader, gaze flicking to the two kittypets; wondering what had been spoken about in her absence.

The average-sized stocky she-cat fixedly observed as leaves attached to the scarce number of trees flowed subtly with the assistance of the fitful breeze, her dull amber and cobalt blue eyes barely visible as a few rays of sunlight caused the whiskers sprouting from her muzzle to glow, the soft and silky long fur on her body obtaining a mild warmth due to the shimmer produced by the sun that shone over the horizon that warmed the fairly solitary area.

The medicine cat decided to go for herbs alone, it would be better that way she could be in and out besides the batch she was going for wasn’t even that close to where the twolegs she had seen before were so she assumed she would be fine. She went out the side entrance of camp once more creeping down so she wouldn’t be spotted by Riverstrike, Froststar or Zing and Zang. She trotted along hoping this trip would be quick enough to where no one would notice she was gone. But that soon quickly changed once she reached the southern part of the territory and spotted at rouge. She wanted to call out to Freya, ask her what she was doing but all she could do was sit there and stare at her.

Froststar | Fernclan Territory | Riverstrike, Zing & Zang

It was a big dog as well, great. At least it would be easy to spot, and large white dog with spots would stand out around here. The fact that it was an older dog made Froststar a little more comfortable as well, it meant they could possibly outrun it. He couldn’t help but let out a small laugh as he watched the two young cats, they reminded him of him and his siblings at that age. Froststar turned as Riverstrike joined the group again. “Perfect. I was asking Zing and Zang here about that dog. Seems to be of the larger size, but an older one. White with spots. Id still be cautious taking them home of course.” Froststar said, filling Riverstrike in on the conversation. “Now. I’ll leave you to it, may Starclan guide you. We will have much to discuss upon your return.” He would stay to see them off, and then make his way back into camp to check on Shadeflower.

Badgerpaw | Fernclan Camp | Riverstrike & Aldergrove

The Western territory? Alright, they could get some good hunting done there. Badgerpaw turned to Aldergrove, he’d follow behind him whenever he was ready. “Maybe we could stop by the stream as well.” He offered, “I know I said I hate fishing… but maybe I could give it a go while we’re out.”

She cleared her throat now as she rose to her paws trotting over to Freya.” I um…..who are you and what are you doing here?” It was obvious that Shadeflower was not a very confident she cat and it was obvious that any thoughts of trying to in any form be intimidating were just non existent. She wasn’t a warrior for Starclans sake but she couldn’t just let the rouge wander around the territory, Froststar and the other warriors might be upset by it, she didn’t know honestly.

The medicine cats anxiety ramped up but kept it less obvious, her fur now bristled slightly with irritation as her ears fell flat against her head.” Don’t you know it’s dangerous around these parts? Those monstrous twolegs could come snatch you or worse their dogs.” She paused for a moment. Now why exactly was she expressing any form of concern for this mouse brains safety? She shrugged that off.” Besides, the warriors here would not be so enthusiastic to see you here.” She stated her blue eyes narrowing as she looked past the rouge always making sure to keep an eye out for twolegs and their dogs.

"Oh my, you forest cats sure are something, huh? Always simulating confidence, but the sight of a canine or an upwalker instantly makes you flee." Freya communicated in a contemptuous tone, her voice somewhat hushed due to her continuous snickering that was fueled by the healer’s antagonized expression.

“Believe it or not we aren’t exactly as mouse brained as yourself. We understand that taking on a dog that is much bigger than you are is stupid and foolish. Cats die around here because of them you mouse brain.” The she cats now more cranky side of her personality now came out. Dogs were no joke for her, she had seen clanmates die before because of them. Her eyes kept flickering towards the twolegs homes, her blue eyes would shoot around watching for any dogs or twolegs before ultimately landing back on Freya.Shadeflower knew full well the only method she had to defend herself was to just basically claw at them or flee, which neither seemed like it would go well especially if she was without her clanmates.

The multicolored feline sighed with an artificial tone of disappointment; however, a subtle grin leisurely developed on the rouge’s face as Shadeflower’s irritation increased.

This time she just rolled her eyes with a huff.” No getting through mouse brained thick skulls like yours.” She stated rising to her paws as she made her way to the catnip batch she came for.” I don’t have time for this nonsense.” She muttered to herself as her tail lashed behind her. She gently picked up the catnip her blue eyes giving a strong glare towards the twolegs place. She knew full well the warriors could defend themselves, just not her but besides there was no point in wasting her time trying to talk to rouge who couldn’t understand what Shadeflower herself had seen dogs be capable of.

The rouge gathered a deep breath before abruptly releasing an audible gasp and rapidly achieving a crouched position, utilizing the various muscles in the upper area of her head to forcefully lower her ears—an artificial yet convincing expression of sheer terror on her face. "Hey forest cat, watch out; I’m pretty sure I just saw the tail of a dog in the bushes behind you.." Freya communicated in a hushed manner, her voice nearly inaudible, as she anticipated the healer to cower in authentic alarm and panic.

The she cat growled softly as she looked around in the indicated area.” This is ridiculous I really don’t need this in my life.” She muttered angrily now wishing she hadn’t gone out by herself that Froststar or even Riverstrike was here to save her from the torment of this what she would consider obnoxious rouge. Though her eyes widened to a point however she stopped herself from running known that if a dog had been nearby a majority of the time they would just come straight for the cats. Although the rouge made a pretty convincing case so she still slightly felt a panic of fear as she gripped her catnip in her jaws.

"Forest cats sure are lame; relax; the upwalkers always tie a rope onto their dogs collars to prevent them from doing foolish stuff," Freya ultimately grumbled, the previous amusement in her voice rapidly dissipating during the process of leisurely rising to her paws and forcing the dirt off of her multicolored soft and silky, long fur with a single shake of her body.
