Maybe 5 years ago this would have been a reasonable when rosettes were still worth something but they're literally worth nothing. We were promised a full explanation. This isn't funny anymore.

Between pushing back every update imaginable to this... really?

they say that it rolls per each cub but how many slots per cub? Could you in theory spawn a 10x rosette with the right criteria?

divulging the rosette code would be insane to see. But with the new item at least having some basic info would be nice (like whether they roll before or after normal markings, and the limit to how many rosettes it can pass onto a single cub,)

The thing is, people have been guessing it for as long as rosettes have been a thing, and according to the wiki (last updated sept 2023) it has not been cracked. So either the code is a lie, and rosettes are random so thats why they don't tell us, or there IS a criteria and the wiki is correct that we havent cracked it. But with rosettes as worthless as they are now is there any point guarding the secret?

I have my theories on rosettes, but it's just that. Theories. More of my autistic brain going into overdrive and trying to see if I'm right, or if it's just another Mots is nuts so ignore whatever I say at this point.

And obviously I have not cracked the impossibly hard nut to crack, no one has as I stated in my post. If they did, they are reaaaaly secretive about it. And if I know anything about the internet, secrets don't stay that way forever.

I'm as frustrated as everyone else is. I'm still trying to crack the inverted and shaded rosettes, or why random rosettes show up in slots that are already full with another marking code.

I don't know if the leopard tail will help or hurt.

Yes please! The problem with this item is people in a way can’t use it. How are we supposed to use an item we don’t know how to use? Rosettes are a mystery but I don’t think people want to invest in something where there’s a 0% chance of it working if they happen to choose the wrong lion.

And if someone DID figure it out I’d feel terrible for their wallet because someone is taking a financial fall to try and figure out how this thing works.

From what I've gleaned from already released criteria:

Most rosettes are quite literally just random. They have no criteria past that. They have a tiny chance to roll with each marking on a newborn and RMA, and a slightly higher chance depending on if the parent has it. They have a chance to roll BEFORE the normal markings. Most like a T/F shot for it that rosette exists, and then it rolls for the specific rosette.

Shaded rosettes have factors. I'm pretty sure somebody else figured that out awhile ago. It's really...not that much of a mystery tbh. I really feel like y'all are blowing this out of proportion.

The wiki is outdated for many portions (yes, including on the rosette page - just because the page itself was updated doesn't mean all the information was) and alternatively has kept some stuff cryptic. Older criteria - I'm relatively certain - has been long removed and/or deemed irrelevant by other factors in the game.

Except the News Post made yesterday literally contradicts the wiki?

The wiki says all rosettes have a special criteria.
The news post says all rosettes are random except SOME which have a special criteria.

So which is it?

And the current "theories" are still just theories, as the wiki says it still hasn't been "cracked".

Just because the page itself updated doesn't mean all the information was, lol. The amount of pages I've accidentally marked as updated despite not changing any information on my own wikis 😬 also, adding additional information doesn't mean that former information was updated/edited.

I still really, really think y'all are really blowing this out of proportion. I mean, logically, it seems all relatively crystal clear to me. Only thing missing is actual percentages, and that's fair enough ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
