Like i said before, all sides hold value! But I don’t feel out of line in suggesting they make it a bit more obvious to new people- and from there they can choose what they want. I’m not disagreeing with you at all- just sharing suggestions that could make it easier for everyone.

Yeah don't worry! Talking about it is what makes change happen, but I also think naming the post PLEASE REMOVE HARMFUL MARKS written in all caps could have brought out the extreme opinions in both sides.

I do see how it's hard to find and should be definetely adjusted, but at the same time starting conversations in extremes almost always brings arguments - this is not hate I'm just trying to explain myself :))

We are disagreeing with the original idea of entirely removing harmful marks, which is the only idea up in the first post - but everyone here does agree that a better awareness of markings blocker would be great!

Perhaps there could be a button on lion's page leading to the image blocker? For example on top, near the Report button?
Something along the lines of: "Disturbed by markings on the lion? Visit the Markings Blocker to block them!"

No support. The warning is in the ToS. If you're skipping the ToS and have health issues because of it, that is 100% on you. It's like having a peanut allergy, ignoring a note on the packaging of something that it contains peanuts / was manufactured on equipment that has touched peanuts, and getting mad that you have a reaction.

While I can get behind adding a note in the ToS section that the censorship option exists, or including it in a site tutorial, the site and it's playerbase shouldn't be punished due to your own willful ignorance. And it seems, overall, from your main post, that that's what you endorse. The Lioden community doesn't need to edit itself to cater to those with seizures and trypophobia, the tools are already there. People just need to learn to use those things on the front of their face instead of blindly accepting. That's the whole reason why Gamestop or whatever owns several thousand souls.

I feel like thats a bit different, lioden has a solution to the problem, all thats wanted is to make their solution more visible to people who arent aware of it. If people love the game but cant participate in the main reason for the game and they DONT know of any solutions then they just quite.

Many, man, MANY people don't read ToS, so only putting it in a small area isn’t as effective as it could be.

Why don’t you just say that in the post? It’s sort of vague rn, and doesn’t read like a suggestion, it reads like more of a discussion that shouldn’t be in a suggestion board. I’d say specifically what you’re suggesting (such as bringing more awareness to the marking censor, or whatever you’re trying to say)

Sorry about the anger in my original posts /g it just makes me mad that people still dont know about the harm this marking is causing people. I think that if we made it more obvious that it is indeed something that can harm people, and that HAS harmed people. I reread the ToS recently, in the last week, and i did not see any part about the marking. People are only finding out because people affected are saying theyre affected. People who have been playing for years dont even know theres a censor button. Making it more obvious would make life easier for many people, but the fact it isnt is what makes me so mad

You have to read the ToS to make an account. If you miss that section, it's your own fault.

Truthfully, you should be reading any ToS, seeing as how *not* reading it can get you fucked up in the real world.

Don't make excuses for people's stupidity. Like, genuinely. It's borderline dangerous and not a good habit to endorse.
