Dear Lioden Community, Let me be very clear with what im trying to suggest here, while yes i would like a (respectful) discussion i also am trying to make the suggestion to make the censorship button and seizure warning found ONLY in the ToS to be updated to be easily found and even adding some guidance and information on why and how to use the censorship feature. Markings are highly valued and it would be ridiculous and impossible to remove troublesome ones from the game. So my (as well as several others) idea/solution was to make it VERY obvious to new and current players about the CENSORSHIP button and why we have it and HOW you can use it. Im hoping we can have a positive solution and discussion to fox this so EVERYONE can wnjoy this awesome game! |

Neon genesis, im not "making excuses" as you claim, i am saying that hiding something like that in a long block of text that you have to read, especially when some people might have problems with being able to read they cant control, is not ok, and can be quite easily changed to have it be somewhere where more people can see it and can easily read it. I myself have reading issues, dyslexia makes it hard to read a huge wall of text. If theres an issue where something could be put somewhere nicer for people to see, but someone hasnt done that, i take issue with that, instead of starting arguments about people being "idiots" 1 player likes this post! I have read the ToS Many times But even I have accidentally skipped over parts of it, it happens all the time But that doesn't mean they still shouldn't make the warning of these markings more obvious when its a danger to those with health disorders (me and my sister included) 1 player likes this post! and even if you read it you may not find it of course were not asking to delete the marks just to be sure you can have a easier way to have acces to remouve those marks if it's give you seizure ! Second just because the game have a medium community does not escuse the creators or admins to neglect their players that can get hurt because of those 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I read the TOS, and i still didnt see it, because its hidden in basically a big block of text. Again, some people find it hard to read big blocks of text. Even separating it OUT of the block of text even a little could be helpful because of how severe it could be. Things that can affect medical issues should not just be in a terms of service, it should be there for people to be able to see clear as day, and they shouldnt have to read a lot only for them to realize that theres something that can trigger them 2 players like this post! if we are going to go with that argument, and then people need to be reading it fairly regularly. ToS gets updated all the time- so your telling me that You read the ToS EVERY time its updated? Plus like iri said He DID read it -if you took the time to READ EVERYONES POST without having a preconceived idea of what should be done and how this argument it ‘stupid’ maybe you'd actuall Understand also Morguez, no one is auprised you sided with the defense thats so adamantly AGAINST this discussion. Okay - sorry, me again I am in no way against making it more visible, but it is clearly separated in the ToS and I hate that you're just outright saying it's somehow hidden in there. It is right at the end, separated with a large title and the font is also bigger. We are not talking a little line of text - again I do agree it could be moved to the top perhaps or something, but saying it's hidden is just not true. Lioden is quite a big community, and it has a whole legal team to keep both parties safe, editing the ToS in not something a mod can just simply do in five minutes. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I totally agree with that, but again, neon is saying that everyone needs to read the ToS before signing u. Which i can see where they’re coming from but people don’t really realize how often ToS can be updated and how often people overlook it because they dont see how it would affect their gameplay. This isn’t about anything other than realizing how people work and then acting accordingly. And while yes it may not be an overnight fix it isnt an impossible thing to implement. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Just a small thing, I won't step back into the bickering here much because wowza, but if you have trouble reading or just don't want to swim through huge terms of services, there are free online services that summarize it for you. There's one that has a bunch of bigger sites on there, and there are AI bots that condense it all down if you give them the text. 0 players like this post! Like? |
