Community UpdateAside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community!
Official Lioden RaffleLINK - This is our official community update raffle. Everyone gets a chance to win a rare prize, plus something extra for any runner ups. Poll Update: Raffle Lioness SystemThe Google Forms poll regarding the raffle lioness system has now concluded. Thank you all for submitting your feedback! We have gone through the results and removed any instances of an account submitting multiple responses. We have compiled the results into bar graphs for each question, showing how many players voted for a specific rating for each question. As a reminder, selecting the rating of 1 for a question meant you did not like the idea being proposed, while selecting the rating of 10 for a question meant that you really liked the idea being proposed. Below, you can find images of the bar graphs, with the question and results translated into text in a spoiler beneath each image. Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that we may not be adding all of these options. This poll was intended to act as a survey to get a feel for the community's preferences. We'll be discussing which ones we will actually implement among our team next week.
Art Bug Fixes* Fixed the Cultist Tailwrap decors not showing up on Adult Males * Fixed Mark of the Abyss and Mark of the Elysium decors not showing up on Adult Males * Fixed new eye colours missing for a few mutation stages (Leopon and Tigon cubs, Lethals) * Fixed Phantom Rosette not displaying for all mutations Coding Bug Fixes & Adjustments* Edited the item descriptions for the Decennial and Feline marking applicators to reflect the addition of Feline 10. * Markings secured with an Ochre Gnawrock should no longer be overwritten by a random rosette. Note that this only applies to breedings that take place after this news post. * Shamash has added a security guard to the Preservers Shop so players can no longer sneakily buy items if they do not have the shop unlocked. * Using Amusement items from your hoard will now properly log their usage and any stats gained. * Using Breeding items will no longer generate a mysterious '9' in your user log.
Notification About Image-Based Suggestion TopicsAs a heads up to players, any artwork-based suggestion topics (bases, eyes, marking shapes, etc.) that contain broken images will be locked, as it is not possible for our artists to recreate anything without an actual image. We encourage players who have posted suggestion topics to revisit their suggestions and ensure the images are working! We strongly recommend against hosting images or files of any type on Discord, as Discord has disabled the ability to use hosted assets for longer than 24 hours. Any images or files that are hosted on Discord become inaccessible outside of Discord, as we mentioned in March's Development Update, and this can be sourced back here: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/discord-will-switch-to-temporary-file-links-to-block-malware-delivery/ If your suggestion topic is locked due to broken images, and you are able to upload working images, please contact the Modbox to have your topic unlocked!

I really, really hope that RLs DO get released in explore just like the majority have voted! <3 It would strongly discourage hoarding / keeping lines private and makes lionesses accessible to every player. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

If the explore RLC thing is added, Im seriously quitting RLc breeding and possibly also Ld entirely  The RLC market is already falling HARD, but its still one of the only ways that I am able to make any profit on this game anymore, if the last thing holding GB value up loses it's own value... GB will start being worth SO MUCH LESS, genuinely   9 players like this post! Like? |

I understand the majority of players voted for having raffle clones in explore but man, I have a feeling those who voted for that haven't gotten a raffle lion before and voted for it to get a better chance at having one (Which is a fair and valid perspective) but unless you have hella GB/catnip, you're probably never gonna get it. Because people who did have the funds will 100% spam the chased NCL pool with energy boosts and catnip to have a better chance of getting it. Yeah, it could just be a random person who gets the chance to get it in explore but having more energy and more chance of getting NCL's is very pay-to-win since they'd have so much more chances of getting the RL 'clone' And people have the right to do whatever they wish with their raffle lion. The original idea of the raffle lions is to get new markings out so, if the lions you can claim just have these new traits and isn't a 100% clone of the lion that gets raffled, I think that is more fair. The markings would have more chance of being in the market/bred into the community without devaluing the RL itself. 12 players like this post! Like? |

Exploring would be a lot more stressful if there's whole raffle lionesses to watch out for :/ I think it would spice up the NCL pool to have one or two traits each on claimable lionesses like event NCLs in February, April, and September (more rare, though, perhaps?), and it would do a better job of spreading traits than putting four of a single lioness into the game. Also, the Special Lioness should still be "special" - unique, one of a kind, or whatever. And I just can't help but feel that having more than one identical copy in the game ruins that aspect. 12 players like this post! Like? |

Oooof praying they don't decide to release full RL copies in explore... I'm totally fine with NCLs being released with one or two of the RL traits to help spread them to discourage hoarding of new traits, but the RL itself should be totally unique otherwise its absolutely not fair to the person who wins it. Also on top of that, having full RL copies claimable in explore where someone with GB to throw around can just spam energy boosts and catnips to have a much higher chance at claiming them than everyone else feels very p2w. And from an economy standpoint this would absolutely decimate the RL market, which is one of the last remaining decent money-making lion markets. This will just exacerbate the lion economy problems even more which we really don't need. Many reasons why this would be a terrible idea :/ 11 players like this post! Like? |
