Community UpdateAside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community!
Official Lioden RaffleLINK - This is our official community update raffle. Everyone gets a chance to win a rare prize, plus something extra for any runner ups. Poll Update: Raffle Lioness SystemThe Google Forms poll regarding the raffle lioness system has now concluded. Thank you all for submitting your feedback! We have gone through the results and removed any instances of an account submitting multiple responses. We have compiled the results into bar graphs for each question, showing how many players voted for a specific rating for each question. As a reminder, selecting the rating of 1 for a question meant you did not like the idea being proposed, while selecting the rating of 10 for a question meant that you really liked the idea being proposed. Below, you can find images of the bar graphs, with the question and results translated into text in a spoiler beneath each image. Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that we may not be adding all of these options. This poll was intended to act as a survey to get a feel for the community's preferences. We'll be discussing which ones we will actually implement among our team next week.
Art Bug Fixes* Fixed the Cultist Tailwrap decors not showing up on Adult Males * Fixed Mark of the Abyss and Mark of the Elysium decors not showing up on Adult Males * Fixed new eye colours missing for a few mutation stages (Leopon and Tigon cubs, Lethals) * Fixed Phantom Rosette not displaying for all mutations Coding Bug Fixes & Adjustments* Edited the item descriptions for the Decennial and Feline marking applicators to reflect the addition of Feline 10. * Markings secured with an Ochre Gnawrock should no longer be overwritten by a random rosette. Note that this only applies to breedings that take place after this news post. * Shamash has added a security guard to the Preservers Shop so players can no longer sneakily buy items if they do not have the shop unlocked. * Using Amusement items from your hoard will now properly log their usage and any stats gained. * Using Breeding items will no longer generate a mysterious '9' in your user log.
Notification About Image-Based Suggestion TopicsAs a heads up to players, any artwork-based suggestion topics (bases, eyes, marking shapes, etc.) that contain broken images will be locked, as it is not possible for our artists to recreate anything without an actual image. We encourage players who have posted suggestion topics to revisit their suggestions and ensure the images are working! We strongly recommend against hosting images or files of any type on Discord, as Discord has disabled the ability to use hosted assets for longer than 24 hours. Any images or files that are hosted on Discord become inaccessible outside of Discord, as we mentioned in March's Development Update, and this can be sourced back here: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/discord-will-switch-to-temporary-file-links-to-block-malware-delivery/ If your suggestion topic is locked due to broken images, and you are able to upload working images, please contact the Modbox to have your topic unlocked!
Raffle LionessCongrats to the winner of last week's raffle lioness! Im already in burnout and have trouble taking care of my lions due to irl conditions. If the ONE thing i enjoy and that lets me get profit is gone/worthless, I dont think I'll have anymore reasons to stay in the game and spend money in it! Are RLCs really doomed to become like dwarves now? 3 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah big agree with what Maggie said tbh, I couldn't have put it better! I came back from a 4 year hiatus earlier this year and honestly I was so shocked to see how much the lion economy as a whole had gone downhill :/ it was such a huge difference to what it used to be and ngl I've been struggling a bit to make money these last few months because the markets I depended on that used to be profitable (pies & applicators) had crashed so dramatically. I would really hate to see similar damage done to RLs, one of the few remaining profitable markets, the collapse of which like Maggie said would have huge ripple effects into other markets like breeding items. It would be devastating for the game imo. 6 players like this post! Like? |

People saying #7 is unfair are almost exclusively new players. #7 is 100% fair, new players still get a chance at the other raffle lioness. All 7 does is reward long time players, and gives us another chance at a raffle lioness since a lot of us have played for years and never gotten one. It can be very discouraging when you play for so long only for majority of RL's to end up in inactive accounts, new players that quit after a week, etc. It's a nice way to reward the long time players, and also considering that they've played for so long, it's not as likely that they'll go inactive like a newer player might. 5 players like this post! Beyond that, the only people who will have a huge chance at getting them are the people who are gonna dump a fortune into energy items and catnip to get them FIRST. It's no longer a fair prize system for players, but instead a race of who can explore more and faster to snatch them up- the value will pitch downwards and the rls will go to the same few racing players over and over again. It ruins the fairness, the uniqueness, and the special aspect of the raffle lioness. It's a devastating idea for the rl market and the players who love and own them. 10 players like this post! But the system is no longer equal or fair. Those 3 whole lions will be cloned as always, over and over again, until there's no point in cloning them anymore. There's dozens of rlcs on the market rn that already aren't willing to be bought because there's too many of them. With triple the availability, the market will crash extremely fast. If you've been in the rl community for a while, you'll know firsthand what I mean. 4 players like this post! Like? |

RCL lionesses are meant to be one of a kind ( unless cloned- lol ) the three lions would ruin it completely and the value would drop. If people are so desprate, maybe put in the effort and time of cloning one? Its also unfair to the winner of the RCL. Edit; also, you will have to waste currency on getting items and 98% of the time you will get nothing. Ill also argue that 7 is unfair. Theres old players that havent RO that many times because theres actually a life to live. Its also just unfair to new players too. 5 players like this post!
