-LOCKED - Community Update #238! | |
Posted on 2024-09-06 23:34:11
Community UpdateAside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community! Official Lioden RaffleLINK - This is our official community update raffle. Everyone gets a chance to win a rare prize, plus something extra for any runner ups. These raffles have a very minimal ticket price, and there is a limit of 1 ticket per account to make it fair! Good luck! This raffle will automatically end on 2024-09-13 00:00:00. Discussion Update: Raffle Lioness SystemAs mentioned in last week's Community Update #237, we have taken this past week to discuss which options we will be implementing. We will first start off with adding in a confirmation system. The confirmation system will work in such a way that a player must be online and rollover in order to accept the raffle lioness onto their account, and if they do not rollover in time, then she will be rerolled to another winner. The timeframe provided for a player to rollover and accept the raffle lioness will be 1 month (30 days) from when she is pulled. We will be looking into implementing a notification of sorts so that if a player has a linked account and they win the raffle lioness on one account, their linked account would receive a notification prompting them to rollover and accept the raffle lioness. We will also be adding in a raffle stud system, and will be ironing out more details as to how that would function in a future update. For now, these are the only updates that are confirmed and will be added in a future update. Nothing currently has changed with the raffle lioness system, and we will mention any updates in a future news post when they are implemented. If there are still issues with raffle-exclusive traits being difficult to pass after these are implemented into the game, we will look into potentially implementing the system of releasing raffle lioness traits on NCLs in explore. We would also like to clarify that based on the feedback we have received, and as it wasn't an option that was heavily supported in the survey, we will not be releasing full clones of raffle lionesses in explore. Coding Bug Fixes* Double-purchasing of Custom Decors and most Oasis services should no longer be possible via refreshing * Markings in slots 11+ should now be visible again * Murphy has been given a grammar lesson and will now refer to "calfs" as "calves" * Reverse bred cub pages should now be visible again * Using a "Random Marking Replacer" will now properly award the "Hide the Evidence!" achievement Raffle LionessCongrats to the winner of last week's raffle lioness! A new Ember lady with Fern eyes, Feline 10 Fiery (NEW!), Red Dorsal Line, and the fourth Lopé National Park background is up for impressing in the Special Lioness area linked here! Marking Note: Feline 10 Noctis is now possible to apply via RMA/RMR/Total Shuffle! Poll Results - Thank you all for voting on last week's poll! The Mocha base will be renamed to Latte within the next Development Update. We appreciate everyone's feedback! NEW POLL - As the Feline marking set is now fully complete, we wanted to give one last chance for some final recolours of Feline 1-10. Would you be interested in more recolours? Let us know in this week's poll! Next Development Update: September 13th! Friday goofy doodle comic: 181 players like this post! Like? Edited on 07/09/24 @ 00:00:07 by Katze (#3) |

I agree with everyone here, breeding items are what we really wanted! We know that lowering breeding item prices in prophet shop would just crash market so why not increase encounter rates instead??? That would make everyone satisfied 5 players like this post! Like? |

I’d go so far as to say because encounters are so low (idc what they say about not changing rates, they are too low), lowering breeding items by 50jb won’t do anything to the market at all. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

@Cassiopeia, 100000% agree. the GMO cow prices are going to go from 40 GB value (out of event) to 60 or 70gb. Thats less accesible, lowering the price will make about roughly the same amount of people get the same amount as usual, hardly affecting the market... 2 players like this post! Like? |

Most people that are somehow getting fine explore rng don't want the prices lowered or encounter rates increases but they don't realize that almost everyone else is not having the luck they are. In order for everyone to be satisfied and not arguing about breeding item market crash, encounter rates being heavily increased would be the most intelligent and logical thing. 1 player likes this post! Its 👏 not 👏 the 👏 prices 👏 that 👏 are 👏 the 👏 problem 👏. Event encounters are not spawning as often as they do for other events, and you've missed out the real items that players give a damn about. 5 players like this post! Like? Edited on 07/09/24 @ 09:03:25 by Fraekinn [Semi Hiatus] (#57572) |

@Fraekinn, yes but if they are unwilling to change the encounter rate, price reduction is the next best 2 players like this post! Like? |

Not sure why breeding item prices weren’t lowered / encounter rates weren’t buffed. These breeding items are only available once a year, which is a ridiculously long time. Im a college student so this equates to only being able to purchase Gnawrocks FOUR TIMES during my entire college career. I don’t see the harm in prices being potentially lower if users are encouraged to play more. This also applies to months outside of Sept., for example, if I get a good stock of gnawrocks I’d be encouraged to do breeding projects in other months. Is user retention seriously not the goal here? 7 players like this post! Like? |

The thing is, Manon, that the event encounters just arent rolling as much as every other event, which in itself is a bug. Its not that they aren't willing; its that they can't be bothered. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Prices being lowered may or may not crash the market, if it's just like 50 then fine but PLEASE JUST INCREASE ENCOUNTER RATES THAT'LL MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Them not being bothered is an issue. they need to change them. Ive met 50 ppl on several threads threatening to quit the game if nothing changes. and what is the thread? oh 50 ppl whatever, but thats not the point 3 players like this post! Like? |

They only listen to the people who line their pockets, and I am honestly suprised (not) breeding items were left alone with Black Friday coming up. I usually spend £500ish on GB each black friday but tbh I don't see the point. Profit has become the goal, not the players. Evosaur is gone/never happening, wolvden is the golden child, lioden is always left behind and just exploited for its playerbase. 0 players like this post! Like? |
