@LittleMissKitty It's just the way you presented it was the way it came off as rude to me at first.

Either way, I think it was a mature discussion and in any way wasn't getting out of hand. People just have differing opinions of both this mane type and the whole Asiatic vs African ideas is all.

._. I don't try to be rude. When I'm typing, it sounds much less rude in my head. I'm just one of those people that words things wrong, and it comes out rude when it's not supposed to.

When people criticize an idea I come up with for small reasons, even if it's something as small as a mane suggestion that wouldn't even really affect the game at all, it kinda irks me when they get all technical and all like "But asiatic lions don't live in Africa" or "We don't need it" or something like that, when really I'm just asking for a mane style /based/ on asiatic lions, but not exactly an asiatic lion subspecies. That was part of a separate idea.

And when people say "We don't need it" for random suggestions that are 100% harmless to the game, that pretty much just make me facepalm. Sure, we may not absolutely need something like this, it's not that important, but that doesn't mean it'd be a bad thing to have. ._. It'd just give, once again, a little more variety to the game, and it'd look nice.

I'd love to see my male with an Asiatic-type mane.

I agree, I don't think anybody "likes" seeing that sort of thing. I also agree that some people can get too radical with their opinions. I didn't mean to scare you off or anything D:

@Kikazai Don't you at least want to hear other people's opinions on it though? As petty as they may be, I think sometimes people can make very constructive and valid points.

Yes, I'd like opinions but when people are just all like "We can't have this because Asiatic lions don't live in Africa" and don't give any real, good, and valid points as to why the mane is a bad idea, then it annoys me. I don't mind something like "In my opinion, I';m not very fond of the way asiatic manes look" or something like that, but outright saying "We cannot have this because they don't live in Africa".. that gets on my nerves. Purple lions and wavy-maned lions don't live in Africa either.

Oh, by the way, Barbary Lions are extinct, and I don't think they even lived in Africa either. However, we have a Barbary mane.

@Kikazai I already said something about the lore of Lioden and the special bases fitting into it, so I don't particularly like the argument of unrealistic things such as those anyways >.< I don't mind if there are unrealistic things, but I personally dislike people using that argument to back up their idea. Can you give me a different valid reason why you think this should be in the game, other then "purple lions with wavy manes"?

If you mean me, I never flat out said "We cannot have this because they don't live in Africa" I was just asking "Isn't this game based off of African lions?" because it is. We have things like the Zimbabwe ruins, then the rituals last month, things like african wild dog decors and that sort of stuff is all found in Africa. Plus all the prey the lionesses hunt. I never see any of my lionesses bring me back a panda (Asiatic animal) to eat or anything.

And yes, again, I understand you just want the mane type and not the actual lion, but I was just trying to make my point.

I support. There are many subspecies of the lion that are fine for lioden. We have also lion manes of the subspecies the Barbary lion ...which are extinct in the wild. An Asiatic would be cool if the mane looked oriental too xD

Valid reason as to why it should be in the game? Because it looks nice and some people like the way it looks. :/ What other reason would there be for just a mane style?

It's just a mane style, that isn't unrealistic or anything. So, it resembles an asian species of lion. Who cares? If we can have extinct lion manes, we can have an asian lion mane. It's not that big of a deal so I don't see why you're arguing so strongly against it. It's just a mane.

If you dislike the mane so much, then just don't get any lions with it if it's ever made. That simple.

She was just trying to make a point as you said something regarding purple lions and wavy manes along with the barbary mane .

At the end she said

@Kikazai Even if you just tell me 'not to get any of the lions with that mane if its made' that doesn't mean it won't affect people's gameplay at all. It'll be hoarded, then it'll be inflated and sold at ridiculous prices unless it's just a mane change away.

And yes, it is unrealistic to me at least. Again, not that I mind at all. Barbary lions still lived in Africa, and wavy mane is just a type that fits into the lore of lioden.

I'm arguing against it because I'm voicing what I think about it. Not everybody will just flat out agree with you you know :/

I'm just suggesting it become one of the normal, common manes like LD has already, something you could easily just change your mane to in the Oasis.
