-Shrug- Yeah, it is up to them... however I wouldn't exactly like it to be a raffle mane because then I would be unable to get something of my own idea because I always lose raffles and have no flipping GB to buy raffle stuff that's ultra high priced.

Plus I'd like to be able to easily apply the mane to a lion whose markings I love, but would look better with that mane. |D

Plus.. I don't think mane types have ever been raffled before? o3o All mane types I know of are Oasis-applicable.

@Kikazai The recent Sepia mane color and another mane color I forget are raffle only. I'm sure they can apply the same to any kind of manes, bases or markings if they really want to.

I don't mean to sound rude, but lioden isn't meant to be tailored to any specific user's needs. I'm sorry that you can't afford certain things, but not everything works out for everybody unfortunately u.u

And yeah, I know it isn't.. which is why I won't like, throw a huge tantrum or anything if it's made a raffle mane. May be a little aggravated I can't get one, but meh.. Up to LD's staff.

Totally think this should be added, it's not as if the species is being implemented, just the mane type. I don't recall wavy manes being on African lions either.

I also don't think it should be raffle only, thus far all mane shapes have been oasis only so that trend should stay, it's only fair.

Just a friendly thought~

Game art is Xylax's domain, so you can't really just suggest a new type of mane (which is art) and expect Xylax to make it even if it gets hundreds of supports...
Xylax is also the co-owner, and as the game's main artist, it's his choice about what to draw for the game. Which, as other have said before, was why this thread was moved to "Game Art" instead of staying in "Game Suggestions". Our wonderful evil admin has already made a bunch of goodies all ready for us, and he already works quite hard to draw up all of this lovely art. New ideas/art ideas also have to be run through with Kitty and Abbey (I believe). Not trying to bash your idea, but when the developers want to add new lion stuff, they run a poll (Like for the Tsavo/Regal/Wavy), and implement the new ideas based off the the majority of the players' opinions.

Pointing out all of these "purple lions" and "extinct Barbary lions" to justify your own idea isn't really going to convince anyone, especially if the developers already have plans in place to be sprung into action further along the course of the game ^-^ Like I said before, I'm not bashing your idea, just stating that Xylax/Abbey/Kitty choose what goes into the game, and what doesn't. New game art is all up to Xy.

@Oren: If it borrows traits from that many manes it should do fine as it's own individual type. In the end if it were added it'd still have it's own individual look. For example: dark brown is just a darker version of brown but it's still is own individual base because it still has its own look.

i honestly think everyone kicking off should leave. if you dont like it you dont have to have it, its not as though its being suggested as a mandatory mane for every lion. you've made your point so why are you still arguing about it, nobody cares about your whinning and negativity so take it somewhere else and stop acting like spoilt little hitlers.

And also, i think this looks quite similiar to some of the tsavo lions ive seen, which are from AFRICA for all the pedantic idiots ranting about where the lions on lioden come from.
