A cooldown for lioness instead of a cooldown for hunting. We were given a lot of territory, but not enough training options to keep so many lioness! So after your lioness came back after 15 minutes, they will have a cooldown of an hour before they can hunt again. That means, that after 15 minutes, you'd be able to send OTHER lioness out for hunting. When they get back, they need to cooldown for an hour. If you do the math, that means we could keep 4 teams of 5 lioness if you want a constant rotation. That would mean 25 lioness kept on a regular base - a lot more then 5-7 lioness I see most people keeping. I think it could help solve the cub-problem. People can't really keep a lot of lioness, since hunting in the only way we can train them. All the others ... just sit there. This way, having more territory makes sense if we can send more lioness out. And at the same time, you still have your 1-hour cooldown. You can't train the same lioness more then you do now, you just train more lioness, not just the same ones. Would it make the food too cheap? NOPE! The food has a sort of minimum value, thanks to the monkey business! And - if people keep more lions, they'll need more food too. The number of lioness should go up equally with the food. I see more people then just me keeping only 5 lioness, and selling all the others because we just can't do anything with them. So logically, a lot of people will suddenly use a lot more food too. So, food keeps it value. Feel free to give feedback. |

100% support! I just recently had to sell a few lionesses for this same reason. There's no point in keeping more than five or six lionesses at a time, because there's very little you can do with them. I want each of my lionesses to live up to their full potential and when I can't hunt them EVERY hunt, there's just no point. You'd lose in the end. This is a GREAT idea. I'd LOVE to keep more than one team of lionesses. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I really don't understand by people would be against this? their explanation of that this would ruins things or would give more advantage to some player is not really grounded. First of all, a normal person (so not the gamer that are behind their screen for 24h a day) can maybe send their lioness around the 5 times a day. at least I can. but mostly it's 4 ... with some luck 6 times. in the weekend maybe 7 to 8 when i'm lucky. from the title to 10 hunts were added, I was only able 1 time to use all 10 hunts! 1 time! secondly, most of use are only gonna be able to send 2 teams, maybe a 3rd if you can be online for an hour. If you want to send 4 teams in hunt you already seen the sent then right after you get your females back. that's impossible! so most people are gonna have 2 teams, meaning 10 lionesses in training ... having more lionesses, means you need more food. so on that part, nothing changes ... you get enough food in to feed your ladies and if you have leftovers, you sell it for the newbie people or people that don't have good hunters. also not everyone is gonna have 2 teams from the start. you first need to have the territory and also the extra space for cubs if you breed them! so if you breed all 10 you lioness and say they get 1 cub, you already got 10 cubs in 1 time, so after aging, you end up on 20 lions ... so you need the space ... so the this setting will fill itself up. it wouldn't ruin the thing. your females are still gonna gain stats at the same rate, you are just gonna be able to train some extra females, if you have the time and space. 0 players like this post! Honestly I really think this should be done as soon as possible. With the fact that you need, like a lot of people have already states, more food the more lions you have, it wouldn't do anything with the economy. People would still buy and sell food at the same rate as now. There aren't really any downsides to this idea from what I can see. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'd love this idea. I'd like being able to have two hunting teams to send out. What about a way to have two hunting teams of five? Maybe pay a reasonable fee to have the second team, like having a sub-male slot? Have a check-box on a lioness's page to designate her a huntress and assign her to team 1 or team 2? Each hunting lioness can only be put out with her assigned team and only hunt if she's designated a huntress/hunter? There could be a cooldown on setting a lioness as a huntress as well perhaps? Once you pick your hunting teams, they're set for the day? That way the max anyone could hunt is 10 lionesses. That way there is still a limit, less options for abuse, but it would give those of us who enjoy doing a lot of hunting to be able to train more lionesses. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Tau, I don't really get the "abuse". And what you're suggesting would totally change the hunting system... I'm just suggesting something really simple: put the cooldown on a lioness instead of on the account. The max hunts of 10/day isn't going anywhere... Like Jian & Veloz said: not really any downsides and really, that much wouldn't change. More hunts also means more lioness, since you can't hunt with the same lioness. They bring in food, so people with 2 teams will have an equal amount left as they do now. So, more lioness = more food. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 31/10/13 by Nynke (#12504) |

I'm actually not sure how it would be abused either. Just a few people were mentioning it had potential of being "abused" and were against it. I'm not exactly sure how either. I just suggested two hunting teams because it would be a lot simpler to keep track of which lioness was on cool-down, etc. if they were in little set groups. I figured a few limitations might show there are ways to get around potential "abuse". 0 players like this post! Like? |

Their already is a way to prevent abuse in my eyes :) You still have the 10hunts/day limit, I'm not asking for that to be removed ^^ If a lioness is on cooldown, I'd imagine she wouldn't show up in your list or that some lioness would have "cooldown" behind their name :) So you'd still be able to send your lioness hunting for 10 times a day - you'd just be able to keep a 2end team for hunting, you can't send the same time team more :) So I don't really see how it could be abused. Sure, gamers who spend 24/7 on this game could use all hunts ... but still, that's not more then 10 hunters/day. Turn it any way you want, that doesn't change ;) I think somebody else made a suggestion in that direction actually, Tau ^^ I'm not sure where it is, but it's somewhere in the game development section, a suggestion to click boxes to send your lioness hunting instead of clicking the field and then selecting the lioness :) 0 players like this post! Well, technically you can add hunts for 10 SB per lioness, but I don't really disagree. I don't see how turning the cooldown into a personal one for the lioness instead of an account one would cause any huge issues in the game. The only issue I see is you could actually have four hunting teams (if you managed to time it down to the minute). Basically, every 15 minutes you could put out 5 new lionesses. So in theory, you could train 15-20 an hour. That's another reason I was thinking limiting it to two teams per hour would make the people worried about abuse a bit happier. That would keep it to 10 lionesses hunting per hour at most. 0 players like this post! Like? |

well I know, but I'm going to assume most people don't do that since most of us can't buy Gold Beetles xD And on top of that, it's not that easy to send you lioness hunting 10 times a day xD 2 teams would defiantly be an improvement xD Nobody's going to be able to train 4 teams - you lose to much time setting up your lioness. Most people would just keep 2 teams anyway~ I don't know, I just feel like it would be more like a personal choice. I don't keep more then 5 lioness but others keep their territory filled with 20 or even 30 or 40 lioness. Are they abusing the game? I don't think so. So why, if you can send those hunting if you want, would that mess up the game? I've seen people mentioning they don't hunt at all, and they still wouldn't hunt even if this changed. The people that do, will keep more lions, and their food goes up equally to the lions they keep ^^ The goal of the game is getting the one with the highest stats, this doesn't increase somebody's changes at all. You just let them keep more lioness. I'm not against color breeders at all - I personally breed for both color and stats. Witch is kinda annoying, I can't keep a lot of different colors since I also go for stats and I wouldn't be able keep the stats of the others up .. Hence why I really like this idea. And the people that worry ... They don't really give good arguments. Some of them don't give arguments at all. The argument of "grinding" could just as well be said for everyone who uses their 10/day and buys more. This wouldn't make that much of a difference I think ... But you know what, we can theorize all we want ... the way we're going to find out, is if they really do this! And if it goes wrong, they can always change it back right? Or put a limitation up or something ... These things point themselves out ;) They can always adjust it after trying it for a while. 0 players like this post! Like? Tau, it's as good as impossible to send out 4 teams. Unles the lag would suddenly be gone, but even then, you need a fast reaction, being with your nose on the screen. 3 teams is possible, but really, except for those few that don't have a life outside the game (sorry) but 90% of use don't have time to do 3 teams, maybe for 1 hour ... so most people will still be on 1 to 2 teams to hunt. so I guess you just see the idea wrong. Nynke only suggest to put he cooldown on the lionesses, not our account. nothing changes at he amount you can hunt or how long it takes to see the result. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dont forget the market. Cubs with high stats from higher statted females would swarm the market quite quickly as an aftermath. I guess the market is flooded enough with low statted cubs, we dont need a flood of high statted cubs either. People would whine about them not able to sell because high statted lionesses would be more common then. It is just fine that high stats are more rare than low stats, and only a few select lionesses can get stats. or event them out by sending always different ones out. I'd say pay a small fee for a second hunting team, but the cooldown should stay on the account itself. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree, Jian, that it would be near-impossible. I'm just saying in theory it would be possible, but unless someone had a stop-watch and was timing it like that...which is crazy. I'm on a lot because I have access to a phone and such that allows it, but even I wouldn't want more than 2 teams to be honest. That's plenty to me. No, I understood what Nynke was saying. The lioness gets an hour cooldown, but not our account. I was just suggesting ways to get a happy medium of the current situation and putting only the lioness on cooldown. Well, happy medium in my eyes anyway. Not that I'm saying my suggestion is the only/best one. I'm just offering ideas. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support 100%!! I have so many lioness for sale right now that just won't sell because of this very reason. I would love to keep some them but they just sit. I have found some people that offer trainning camps but I would rather do it myself. I also think it would keep more people on the game as well!! 0 players like this post! Like? |
