Raven looked pleased, " I have gotten my power, i was wondering if i would be able to keep it?" He ducked her head again in submission, pleading in her heart that the alpha would say yes, the shadows were her favorite and she was looking forward to getting to know her power.

"Oh yes, you too." Makeera simply said, looking up at the lead huntress. She wondered what exactly the power was, since it didn't seem to be physical. She then decided to get some rest, so she curled up in her bed and shut her eyes. The smell of the herbs, still as fresh as before, lulled her to sleep.

She nearly bounded with joy, her heart leaping and she quickly bowed again, "Thank you my alpha,' Then she quickly left padding over to the Alphas den, making her way to the back gazing down at the pool of water before lapping in up, knowing that she would now have her power forever, and she was glad she didn't have hindering spikes or annoying over grown fangs. Hers was stealthy, concealed. just like her. she refrained from bounding like a pup out of the den.

Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 3mnths | Beta Female

Restless, the pale female padded slowly around the clearing, fur dappled by the shadows of passing trees. Her cold eyes scanned the terrain, the area clear of most wolves. There were so many wolves that were injured, and they had since clogged the confines of Nova's den, leaving the clearing bare. It seemed that only a few remained healthy in comparison, leaving the pack nearly defenseless if danger were to arise. So, doing her part as the beta female, she sketched a light patrol around the fringe of the camp, rubbing her side against the trees to spread the pack's scent. She also kept her nose carefully turned to the wind, prepared to burst into action if something odd caught her attention.

She stepped out of the Alpha den, then looked around for Kiba. Not seeing him she padded over to her corner, laying down in the shadows allowing the, to cover her and conceal her from the rest of the world. she could see through the shadows, then pictured them changing, moving like waves. the shadows moved slightly, but nothing that she was picturing in her mind. She sighed, this would take practice.

Kashi/ Female and Kiba/ male/ Warrior
Once she felt her awkwardness had reared its head enough for today, Kashi let herself truly view Nova's den. The smell of herbs and berries tickled her scenes. Twitching her ears she wondered about some of the smell she didn't know. Though there were few she could not identify. As a rule Kashi made it a daily mission to learn about herbs just as much as she hunted. When Nova returned and gave Angle the mint flavored herb, the snow wolf new what it was right away. She had used a similar plant to help Kiba rest during his days as a trainee.
Standing up while Nova's back was turned the female used all her training to slip over to a ledge holding some of the herbs she knew of. Nudging a patch of blue green moss that she knew to help with bruising she smiled at the memories it brought her. Kashi held a true passion for caring for others. But she couldn't shake her love of a good chance to run and be powerful. That and going throw her brother for a higher rank was not what she wanted to do. Eyes focused far in the past she sat still in front of the ledge.
Outside of the healers den, the male twin sat looing to the future. Without his notice his eyes filled with grey as he looked around for anything out of the ordinary. Not finding anything he made his way out of camp. Eyes still filled with a power he didn't know of he bowed his head to Raven as he pasted her. "I would very much like it if you would join me for a walk later tonight." He said before walking off to patrol around the territory. The male hoped he didn't seem cocky in his request, he just couldn't stand around waiting for an answer because he would have made a fool of himself if she said yes. Once a good distance away from camp he let his shoulders drop and let the tension roll of his body. today had been stressful. He just couldn't shake the feeling that things were going to changes for the worse this winter.

Both twins sat in similar positions on opposite ends of the territory. The female with her head tilted down to take in the sent of the herbs before her. The male with his head raised to the sky as the sun dropped bellow the horizon and the first snowflake fell upon his crown, resting briefly before melting into the sliver fur.

She smiled as Kiba passed and the shadows dispersed, going back to their natural positions. But the sun was low in the sky and the shadows were long in the day, as the sun dipped low in the sky. She stood then padded over to kiba, taking up his position and looking up into the sky, the sun set beautiful, painted with colours of red and orange, the sky reminded her of fire. " I will go with you,"

Rahese | Male | 4yrs 6mnths | Lead Warrior

Smothering a growl as the healer began barking orders, Rahese's eyes shifted toward the entrance -- both with the desire to leave, and with the even stronger desire to look wherever Nova wasn't. Even his ears had folded along his skull once more, muting her voice as best they could. Damned female, he thought with a mental huff, fur bristling along his spine. Gently, he settled himself onto his belly -- his massive form encompassing a good section of the den's entrance, and most likely getting very much in the way. He cared not, however; if they had somewhere to go, they could step around or over -- he wasn't moving. With a chuff, the brute swung his head around to peer at his wound, still slowly leaking blood and clumping in his fur. Definitely superficial, he determined with a nod of certainty, looking away and promptly dropping his head along his forelegs. Still tired, the wolf blinked in a sluggish rhythm -- forcing himself to stay awake. The only way he was going to sleep in Nova's den, was if he was knocked out.
Tired as he was, he had not missed the conversation between Raven and the alpha female -- it seemed as though more and more powers were developing within the pack. Though he was often patrolling the forest, word travelled incredibly fast, as if the leaves themselves whispered gossip in the trees above their heads. Excitement shivered through the air these days, so many becoming incredibly eager to finally gain one of their own. Rahese himself, however, remained skeptical of such supernatural things, treading on hesitant paws around subjects of the mysterious. The powers, though somewhat integrated into the pack's society, were a constant unknown in his everyday life. Ones that promoted physical capabilities, ones that cloaked a wolf in impenetrable shadow... it unnerved him in a way nothing else did. Defense against these powers could potentially prove to be difficult and dangerous, and since every one differed from the next, there was no way of predicting what kind of capabilities a wolf could have. As far as he was concerned, anything power-related could stay far away from him -- and if he never developed one himself, well, he was fine with him, too.

Connie| Female|Warrior|2 Years | Single

At the sound of Novas voice Connie snapped to attention and did as she was told seeing as she didn't need to be there as much as the others and didn't want to take up Novas time. She walked up to the front, careful to not put too much pressure on her paw with the splinter and scrapes in it. She watch with mild interest as Nova healed the other wounds, she had to admit she respected the healer in a way, having patience to deal with other all the time and in vast amounts too Connie doubt she'd be able to handle it if she was in Novas place.

Kiba/ Warrior and Kashi
Tilting his head to look over at Raven, Kiba gave her a grin only he could pull off. "We can kill two birds with one stone. I can patrol and woo you." He winked at her before standing up with a laugh. The sun was well below the horizon and it was only Kiba's keen sight that allowed him to view Raven in the dark of the clearing. Stars sparkled and the woodland creatures sang softly. It was a picture of peace that contradicted the hostility within the pack. "I haven't been here long, but it feels like this pack is about to explode or something." The male couldn't shake the feeling that winter was going to be long and full of strained relationships -stepping closer to the female before him, he dropped down playfully- but for the moment he felt sure he didn't have to worry about his own.

Kashi turned away from the herb stocked ledge and crawled back to her chosen berth. she couldn't truly tell if Rahese was asleep or not and it made her laugh to see Nova boss around the other wolves. The older female showed such care and love for the pack but at the same time she put the fear of the gods in them. It was something one could respect and envy at the same time. Mussing to herself about the pros and cons of being so capable, Kashi completely forgot about the nonexistent presence of Kiba. But she didn't miss the talk of powers, A topic she was not fond of. Not jealous by nature, Kashi was shamed to admit she wished Kiba hadn't been the only one to grow up with a gift. From her point of view -one she forced herself to develop- you couldn't be a true wolf unless you lived without the 'enhancements'.

Chuffing a bit to herself, Kashi's fur bristled "Not a true wolf if your 'special' like that". Her eyes feel on the alpha, Makeera. Not knowing much of the female she wondered if she was alpha because of her gift or because she was the best wolf for the job. Then her mind wandered to Kiba and Raven. If they mated would their pups grow up like her and Kiba? One having it all and the other always in the shadow. The air became thicker in the healers den, as the temperature swiftly heightened with the females hostility. Aggressive emotions weren't something the snow white wolf had felt before but they were coming in abundance now. With her head on her paws and eyes closed, Kashi failed to notice the little burn marks that formed on the furs under her.

She couldn't help but laughing, " You have you work cut out for you then," She joked knowing then every second she spent with him that her heat was slowly slipping away from her. Being stolen by his charm and humor. Then she nodded her head at the comment about the pack combustion, the tensions were higher then last year, but they always went a little higher when ,ales fought over females. Raven crouched playfully, noticing that Kiba was bigger than her, but not by that much, she wasn't that small. Her tail was swinging back and forth unintentionally, and she could barley notice the lengthening shadows doing the same, feeding off her happiness and reacting to it. She felt her happiness grow and when that happened the shadows waved back and forth like a rolling sea. but they stayed the same, not creeping in like they usually did. She made sure of that.

Makeera and Serkahri:

"Well, it is getting late." Makeera said. She curled up in the bed she was on in the healer's den. She quickly let the sleep overcome her. Serkahri did the same, not saying a word. His last thoughts were "I wonder how the pups will be." and "I can't wait to see them tomorrow." Finally, however, he nodded off into the dream world. It was a confusing one, where he had gotten his power, with his claws being overgrown, though he never really thought that would be it. It was a lame one, he was hoping for a cool one, like glowing eyes, or being able to breathe some sort of mist, or even spikes on his shoulders. His wound had been healed, but he became a...delta? He had no idea if he would really want to go higher than a warrior, or a hunter at that. Then again, it was just a dream, it didn't prove anything.

Disdain/beta male
Coming back from a run Disdain saw the pack heading to their dens for the night. Patrolling around the camp was the beta female Iah Cehka, he padded up to her. "Hi Iah, Restless tonight too, eh" He walked over to the den that they shared "Just make sure you get some kind of rest this time, we need a tired beta to help with the injured." He padded into the den immediately feeling a breeze where a hole had been ripped in it, but everyone was too busy fixing and hunting for the rest of the pack and the two betas decided to wait to ask to have it fixed because the pack was too tired to add something to their list of things to do. Tired he settled down into his nest and fell asleep.

Duke padded out of his den to soon tackling kashi playfully " sleepy young one?" He asked. The male got off her " can you follow me please" the higher rank wolf said and padded out of camp awaiting her to follow his orders. Tonight was the night he asks before anyone takes her like Kiba taking raven from him which was very rude.

Makeera had awoken about an hour later, since she smelled a sweet smell. It didn't smell like any herb though, that was for sure. It took her some time to realize the smell was coming from her. "That means only one thing; I'm in heat..." she said to herself, a bit too loudly. She hoped that none of the other male wolves had heard her, since she felt she was only committed to Kaito. And, defending herself against other males was going be quite difficult. Groaning a bit, she decided to get some more rest. After all, if any of the males were going to start trying to persuade her, she ought to have the strength to defend herself, right?
