Nova followed his two she-wolf friends out of the beta's den, thankful that Solomon was back to handle the pack's issues. Lucifer was more than capable but having the alpha around was comforting at the very least. He caught sight of Adsila and padded over to her "Still playing the brave soldier?" he teased. "You should get a huckleberry poultice on you at the very least, for the pain. We can't have our kappa at a disadvantage with that white hairball around you know." He flicked his tail at Killua, not caring if his words had been heard. He didn't mean them in a malicious way anyway.

Upon hearing Novas voice she raised her head and gave him a playful eye roll. "it's nothing more than a small bruise, the buck was too tired to do any damage. All it needs is a few licks and a moments rest and it'll stop being sore" she gave a soft chuckle. "Anyway what am I going to a be able to do if he steps out of line? I'd be like him being attacked by a pup" she jested, after all it was very true. "No how about we get that troubled mind onto something else? Let's go and find something useful to do" she wished to pull the two males apart before something happened.

Nova shrugged, "If you say so," he said lightly, not completely convinced. Whether she really was hurt or it was just his protective nature showing, he couldn't tell. He wouldn't presume to tell her what she was and wasn't feeling however. At her next remark he grinned "From what I heard today, your sharp tongue can do as much damage as any fang." It was always the quiet ones that surprised you, the thought to himself. Still waters run deep. He let out a chuckle "Don't worry, I won't do anything stupid. I'm not used to being caught off guard is all, especially by moon furred guys who could use a touch of humility."

Aela
The golden-furred she-wolf plucked a pheasant from the kill pile and took it to Pyre "Wanna share?" she offered with a mischievous twinkle in her eye. "There's a nice spot in the lower branches of that pine over there that offers a great view of the camp, if you know what I mean." Their mother, Fern, had been a strange wolf when it came to climbing; she had born no fear of heights and had taught her pups to climb to an extent as well, though vertical trunks were beyond their reach. The high roots and low branches of the camp were easy targets. Unfortunately Aela's curiosity had gotten the better of her and she wasn't above a little spy work. Killua intrigued her in ways she couldn't understand. Maybe it was the fact he was a foreigner and they didnt see many of those anymore, or perhaps that smirk of his stirred a sense of nostalgia within her, something she couldn't exlain.

She glanced between Nova and Killua, "Whats so interesting about him?" She asked the moon furred male. Her ears twitching ever so slightly as she looked at him with a cocked brow. Solomon must still be weighing the options but the beta was wanting to talk to this male about his past and such, in return she'd talk about hers slightly. Well, to an extent as her pack dying was not knowledge he needed to know.

She rose to her paws, although her flank ached it wasn't any real hinderance. She chuckled at his comment "yes well harsh words do nothing in a battle, other than maybe annoy the other side" she stretched herself out. After her stretch she shook her pelt out, which made her look like a small puffy red ball. Swiftly she smoothed it down with her slender tongue and looked around camp. "I trust you wouldn't cause any trouble but I don't enjoy the tension it causes, the looks between you two. You look at him like he stole your mate or something, do you know something we don't?" she questioned him. Although she was wary of the new male the more wolves there were in the pack the better they'd do against Sunrise if there were ever a battle. "How about we go and grab something to eat, after all you deserve it" she gently tapped him with her tail on his shoulder.

Pyre grinned widely "Hell yeah i wanna share! Race ya up the tree!" Shoving her paws down into the soil and pelting across the camp, she reached the roots and gave a leap, using her front paws to drag her bottom half onto the lowest branch.

Killua's facial expression fell and he swung his head towards the beta "Nothing much. He reminds me of my family, my grandfather in particular. Large and gentle, but with a protective and dangerous edge like my grandmother."

Nova

Nova shrugged, looking away. "I know as much as you. I just know to listen to my gut and right not it says he's not telling us everything." He didn't want to say that the way Killua moved and even a part of his scent kept making Nova feel like he was in danger, and more than just the danger of having a strange wolf around. He had felt that way only once before and it wasn't a memory he was keen to pay close attention to. Besides if Killua turned out to have more to do with Nova than he was letting on, Nova would rather deal with it himself than get other wolves involved. Nova knew some very dangerous wolves and Killua might very well know of them too. For now he wanted to put his suspicions aside and give the foreigner a change; he just couldn't help but return the stares and tension. Just as Adsila mentioned food his stomach grumbled and he laughed "It also tells me that some food would be a great idea."

Aela
Aela picked the bird up by its neck and followed Pyre, leaping up beside her and scrambling on to the branch. She wobbled precariously for a moment before gaining her balance and straightening up. "Don't let Nova see us," she whispered to Pyre with a grin.

Aela pushed Pyre playfully "Hey! Don't suggest things like that," she said in a mock angry tone. She watched Killua from her perch, eyes narrowed thoughtfully. "I did always like white fur. Remember Nanuk? His pelt reminds me of hers. I remember I used to follow her around as a pup, hoping she had some secret to turn her fur white! I think Nova is a lot like her too. She was his aunt right?"

Pyre tilted her head thoughtfully "yeah, or no..or...his mother is nanuk's mate's aunt. So Nova would be cousins with Dark, Nanuk's mate. And of course im suggesting it, look at those eyes, my dear sister."

Killua got a chill in his spine, and glanced around in confusion, spotting the two females watching him curiously. His eyes widened in surprise when he noticed that they were up...in a tree...{How the hell did they get up there? I dont even do that sort of thing! Wait...but wasn't there talk of someone that did that in the neighboring pack? I wonder..i should ask them about it later, when this alpha finally speaks.} His overgrown fur sheilded his eyes when he looked straight at someone, but to the treegoers, they had a perfect view of his bright blue left eye.
