Old Sign-ups NEW Sign-Ups Thread Sunrise Pack Territory *pictures belong to their respective owners/photographers* The stream beside camp. It's shallow and easy to cross, perfect for drinking water and even pups are sometimes allowed to play in it-but be careful, it's slippery on the rocks depending on where you are, and freezes during winter and early spring. The easternmost part of the territory, on the other side of the mountain valleys connected to the Sunrise pack's territory. The pack lives in eye shot of the western side of the mountain. The westernmost point of the territory is dense forest and the easternmost point is reasonably flat plains against the last of the mountain valleys. Sunrise pack and its camp is separated from Duskfall's eastern territory by a valley of sloping mountains. In the middle of the territory is wooded shrubland. The camp is located in the westernmost area of the shrublands, the dens are made in the bushes and dug under the roots of large trees. We weren't hunting large game as much as...something else...but yes, we were taught to hunt large prey animals, usually just the two of us and our smaller sister, who was too weak to hunt the other things. Our sister, while weaker than us, was the best hunter in the pack...i think they would've killed her if she hadn't saved the pack single-handedly during our first winter." 0 players like this post! Our younger brother, Jax, was the only other wolf who survived from our pack with me. But a rogue killed him on our run away from the blazing territory. Sometimes though, I feel as if Daemon is still alive out there. As if he's right around the next hill but I can't reach him." (Oh Luce if only you knew..) She sighed quietly, her eyes scanning out passed camp with some strange emotion swirling in their depths. Her ears flickered down as she looked back to camp, this male was something strange to her. He was pretty much the exact same as her, situation and circumstances different of course, but the packs were pretty much the same. Killua | 2 He nodded quietly "My brother and i...we headed out of the pack for an assignment - tracking some game down and cutting the target loose. We got separated during it, and I've been walking since." {Since two hills over, ha!} But he couldn't shake the feeling that this female might be an incredible ally..especially now that she was alpha...maybe if he could just become beta, it might work out very well... Nakoma~3~Zeta~ "Just find her trail." I instructed as I flicked my tail forward, summoning the apprentice to follow. "I want you to head west. I'll head east. Howl if you find her trail. That way I can head your way in case she's in trouble, but still follow her trail. If she's in trouble then getting her help sooner is our main priority. See any other wolves" she stopped at the den entrance to shoot a glare at the rogue, "give two short howls and protect yourself." I instructed as I look at the apprentice. "Understood?" I asked shortly, wanting to get out and find her. I made a note to apologize later. "Stay here." I added, before heading over to Lucifer. Lucifer||Female||3.5||Alpha "Oh.." Odd.. Her head snapped to Nakoma the minute she approached. She was still laying down and lazily brought herself up into a sitting position and looked at the Zeta. "Yes?" She asked with a flick of her ear, looking towards where she walked from, finding the apprentice from the hunt. I really must learn these names. Char || Female || Hunter || 3 Years Char, who was still waiting for everyone to eat, couldn't help but be a little nosy and so she listened to the conversation Nakoma had with the apprentice. She jumped up and rushed over to the young wolf. "Arielle! Please, may I accompany you in finding her?" Finding the elder in her mind at least would make up for missing the hunt and it definitely would take her mind off the food, plus she considered herself a good tracker, surely if they teamed up it would make the job easier. The apprentice sat as the Zeta instructed and sniffed around, already on alert. Her eyes followed to the Alpha and newcomer, resisting the urge to bark a cheery hello towards him. As Char ran over, she stood, wagging her tail in excited greeting. I'm asking for your approval to take Arielle, " I side stepped and slightly turned as I did to gesture to the Apprentice and now the Hunter, "and Char to find her." I nodded, over hearing her ask Arielle why I headed to talk to Lucifer. "I'm still going east. I want you, Arielle, to head North West, and you, Char, South West. I want every inch covered. The command has changed as well. Three short howls if you find her trail, two short ones if you find her, and a normal howl if you see any intruders, but be certain it is. We don't need to rally the pack over a false alarm. I need you two to be safe too." I added, giving them both a stern look. Now is not the time to get side tracked, or to get one of our wolves hurt. She said repeating the plan, to make sure she doesn't forget. She stood up, her paws itching with eagerness. She snorted slightly, she'd make a trip to Sunrise soon to see this alpha of theirs. Her eyes searched the pack, she'd leave the Kappa and Zeta, taking 1 hunter and 1 warrior with her to the pack. She readied herself to track the elder, realizing that this might count as training and if she did well, would push her towards becoming a Noble.
