"I'm glad it doesn't bother you, it's been worrying me that it did" it felt like a large weight off her shoulders now. Her whole body seemed to physically relax now, the stress melting away from her with his words. "You are not indebted to me at all, I was just helping a pack mate" she stepped forwards and nudged his shoulder gently with her nose. Shaking out her pelt her ears perked at his words, a grin coming onto her face. "What kind of Kappa would I be if I didn't want to go for a hunt?" she laughed slightly, a happy glint in her amber coloured eyes. "We'll take it easy for now, maybe some rabbits or maybe a beaver" she spoke, her words more instructions than suggestions.

Lucifer flicked up her ears, she had long since healed but her mind was still fogged with the confusion of at least 3 of her pack members living. Including herself. She looked to Nova, "Nova!! When you get back, and don't exert yourself to much, I need to talk to you." The radio collar he had come back with was bothering her, but for now she'd leave it alone. She'd be damned if humans thought they could just waltz into her territory without her teeth or claws digging into their furless pelts. Her eyes scanned the horizon, Pyre's reports were beginning to worry her, the different smells and howls and eyes were strange.

Pyre growled as silent pawsteps became three strange wolves coming from the forest of the new pack. A black and russet colored wolf padded up to and addressed her.

Artemis tilted her head at the strangely calm, but obviously infuriated fiery pelted wolf. It seemed like she wasnt particularly angry with the group of strangers, but at somehing else. "We are an introductory patrol from the new pack on your borders." She put on a fake polite smile and nodded her head in greeting "This is Isis, Raphael, and i am Artemis, Delta of the pack. We wish to introduce ourselves to you and your pack."

She followed at Artemis' right flank, bright blue eyes locking on a fiery pelted fae. Shooting the lass a forced, but, cheery-looking smile. Her body language suggested nothing of dominance as it shouldn't be anyways. The dark pelted, but white streaked, fae flicked her eyes to Raphael, letting Art do all of the talking for now.

Raphael scrutinized the russet she-wolf with his eerie amber eyes, taking in her pelt colour and size. She must be the 'Pyre' Killua had mentioned when giving intel on the pack. He stepped forward on Artemis' left side until he was almost shoulder to shoulder with the black fae. He wasn't about to question her dominance but he did want to get a closer look at their supposed rival. The soft body of the dead rabbit still hung from his jaws, and he placed it down just over the border and nudged it closer to the red female. "We come in peace," he spoke in a honey warm voice, remembering Meruems orders to be cordial.

Nova grinned and added his laugh to hers, feeling any stress he might have previously felt drain away. "That sounds fine to me." His gaze shifted to Lucifer and he dipped his head to the gray alpha "Sure thing, Lucifer." He smiled reassuringly at the alpha before noticing her worried expression, and his own tensed. She hadn't been the same since the battle, he'd noticed. He believed Lucifer to be one of the strongest wolves he knew so seeing her unsettled tended to unsettle him at the same time. "Would you like to come with us?" he offered, glancing at Adsila to check if that was okay. Having a hunt with pack mates was a great way to relieve stress but he knew Lucifer wasn't much one for socializing when her mind was on something else. He wanted to try anyway.

As the hunting offer was extended to Lucifer she noticed Novas glance, giving a swift nod of her head. Who was she to deny allowing the alpha to come? Her tail swayed gently from side to side. "I've already told him that we'll only be hunting rabbits or beavers. It's not challenging prey but it does mean he doesn't harm himself, like I'm sure you don't wish him too" she put forwards, joining the conversation. Her nose began to twitch slightly as the wind came her way, intending to catch the scent of any potential prey. she caught scent of some birds, squirrels, rabbits, beavers and something she didn't recognize. Her brow furrowed in concern, although she kept her mouth shut as she was sure it was nothing it had been so faint.

Pyre | Noble

Pyre narrowed her eyes and lowered her head, sniffing the rabbit for anything that might suggest poison of some sort. Deciding it was normal, she picked it up and nodded quietly "Come then." She padded towards the camp, her fiery tail straight up like a flag for them to follow. Glancing back, she noticed with a sinking feeling that the black and russet female trotted after her with almost completely silent pawsteps. As they reached twenty yards from camp, she let loose a volley of alert howls and ended them each with a particularly high note.

Artemis narrowed her eyes at the female's howls. It was obviously an alert, but she was impressed with the pack's alert system. She counted three high notes, but the rest were low...three intruders, not an immediate threat. Artemis followed at a trot and watched jn satisfaction when the fiery female turned and looked in surprise at the silent pawsteps Artemis had perfected since a mere three months old.

Novas ears pricked and he looked with alarm to where the howls had sounded "Pyre!". Hunt forgotten, he bounded over to his friend and touched his nose to hers in greeting, not having seen her for a couple of days. He looked past her at the three wolves and felt a shudder run through him. The female in the lead had a black pelt similar to one had known before, though it was marked with red in some places. He raised his tail in assertiveness but didn't say anything, letting Lucifer take the lead if she so wished. The male and female on either side of the leader looked strong as well, but they were clearly showing deference to her. "Are you alright?" he murmured to Pyre.

Her ears flattened slightly as Nova took of towards Pyre, her eyes going to the ground. It appeared that their hunting party was off and there was something or someone in the territory who shouldn't be. Feeling rather redundant at this point she sat herself down, gazing around the camp. She wondered what she was to do, there hadn't been much to do since her trip to the humans. Her chest heaved as she sighed deeply, her front half now coming down to the earth. Her small ears remained perked, wondering whom was upon their land. Not Sunrise, wrong direction and I didn't know the scent. Now who could it be? Admittedly her interest was peaked towards it all, not that Pyre would let her get involved.

She gave Nova a small smile in greeting and flicked her tail "Nova, it seems there are strangers here to see Lucifer." She padded past him, guiding him with her tail along with her "You need some rest, Ill resume our Noble duties and see to our guests, you rest in the medicine den." She hummed quietly, she worried about him, and felt like something was definitely off about these strange wolves.

At the name, and the familiar pelt and loss of one ear, Artemis' eyes turned stone cold for a fraction of a second at Nova before collecing herself with a polite smile on her features "Yes, we come from far away. We are an introductory patrol from beyond your borders." She flicked her tail from side to side, touching first Raphael then Isis. "Theres no name for our pack yet, so we apologize for that." She made sure to, while her voice sounded firm and apologetic to the others, it had a hidden warning of silence to her companions.

Nova growled at her mothering tone "I'm not so in need of rest that I have to retire to the medicine den," he snapped, and circled around to the rear of the strange trio of wolves. After being betrayed by Killua and having nearly been killed, he was not taking too kindly to strangers as he might have a few moons ago. "I know who you are," he said in response to Artemis. "I've seen silhouettes of your wolves beyond the border. It's about time you made yourselves known." First an assassin of ShadowPack shows up around the same time a new pack moved in? The coincidence was too great for Nova to dismiss it as just that- a coincidence. Being trusting had gotten him no where so far and the fact that they were in the middle of their camp had his every sense on alert.

Raphael swivelled his ears in Artemis' direction after detecting the strange note in her voice, and not just because she sounded apologetic (though he was enjoying it while it lasted). He glanced at every wolf in the camp, noting the small red she-wolf and especially the large gray male who wasn't even making an attempt to be friendly. There were fewer wolves than he had expected.

Arielle|Female|1 year, 1 month [13 months]| Apprentice [ Soon to be Noble]

Arielle awoke quickly, lifting her head and standing up to crouch in the small bush den. An excited feeling ripped through her as she creeped out, tail wagging with realization. Soon enough, the slender, gray apprentice would be the center of a ceremony appointing her as a Noble. She had already picked out a den; the small, cozy one in a tree right above the zeta's cave. She bounded over to it, already so full of energy this morning, and sniffed at its base before climbing atop a boulder residing next to the entrance. With careful steps, she walked across a low-hanging branch, jumping lightly to a trio of thick branches close the trunk. During her training, Pyre had taught her how to climb trees some and how to nest in the right branches. She hadn't quite yet moved her pelt bed to the new 'den,' but she tested the branches again, checking for any cracks. Once she found none, she leaped back down, landing softly on the soil. Just as she turned to head towards camp, loud alert howls echoed through the air. Once she recognized them as Pyre's voice, she galloped towards camp, ears against her head in worry.

Lucifer snapped her head up, spotting Arielle's form bounding that way. "Ari! Go hide in case." She barked out before sniffing the air and trotting after the others. Her tail and head high in the air as she moved. "Stand down Nova." She muttered to the noble, "Don't need a fight." Her eyes flickered to the pair, they reminded her of someone she hadn't seen in moons, it unsettled her greatly. Forcing the expression away she turned to them, "Im Lucifer, alpha of this pack. Who might you be?" She smelled their scents on the rabbit, Note to self: Don't eat offerings given from strangers. Eyes flickering between the silent fae, the obviously more dominant one, and the male. Her eyes narrowing at Artemis as she cocked her head slightly. Ever since Kill had betrayed them she felt almost.. Empty.. Then her brother popping up after being gone for years, then this. Not a coincidence at all.


Isis flicked her eyes to Art at the tail hitting hers before turning to the male and female that soon showed. Her eyes narrowed dangerously at the single eared male before forcing a smile on her face at the appearance of the alpha. The tension was so thick in the air she could shred it with her claws if she tried. Her lips curled up slightly at the thought before leaning ever so slightly into Artemis and watching the 'welcoming' trio.

Artemis smiled gently at the approaching wolves, partivularly giving an embarrased 'grin' to the one eared male, trying to keep the tensions normal. She dipped her head when the alpha introduced herself and nodded to her companions "I am Artemis, delta of the pack. My alpha is currently introducing herself to the other pack opposite you. This is Isis-" her tail brushed Isis' flank "and Raphael." Her tail did the same to Raphael's flank and she dipped her head again to Lucifer "We wished not to introduce ourselves before we were settled in and had our campsite set up and a routine going."

The small she wolf kept her eyes trained upon the group of unknown wolves, she didn't trust all too easily. Her lack of social skills could often come in handy like that, making her doubt others she didn't know. Flattening some fur on her chest with her tongue, she prepared herself to greet them. Her pelt now proper and in place she rose to her paws and trotted closer, her eyes not moving off of the strange trio. Her nose twitched to take their smell in deeply, that way she would remember it better. She treated them like she did prey, taking in their scent and reading their body language. She was like that, after all she found prey easier than other wolves most of the time.
