Pyre snapped her head around when Adsila advised her sister to take Nova to the pale-skinned two legged animals and her eyes were wide with anger "You must be joking! The humans wont fix him you fool!! We'd have a better chance taking him all the way to our birthland than handing him over to firesticks!! Theyd sooner consider him a half-dead pest than try to save his life, whatever experiences you have with humans, i dont care what happened, but that's where you come from. Everywhere else is different and if you knew anything about humans, you sooner finish him off then hand him to humans to dissect." She snapped, her face pained with grief, and whipped around, trotting to the other side of the den, laying down at Nova's back and pressing her ears as low as they'd go. The one time the three had encountered humans directly during their journey they had been confronted with firesticks and Pyre trusted humans as far as she could throw an elk.

Aela | Scout

Aela lay her tail over Pyre's trying to cool the fiery she-wolfs anger. She shared in her sisters distrust of humans. They had no claws or sharp teeth but could still kill a wolf from any distance. She'd seen it happen too many times for the idea of going near them not to terrify her. But this was different. It wasn't about her or Pyre, it was Nova. She met Adsila's eyes "Could they really help? I can't put faith in my own skills when they are barely there. If..if the humans could give him a better chance do you really think we could do it?" she asked in a trembling voice. Just as some wolves were good and some were bad, Aela also believed the same was true of humans. Her father had told tales of a wolf he'd known who'd had her life saved by humans after a bear had nearly torn her leg clean off. She knew they couldn't go near the humans who raised sheep for feed or those who lived in the giant forests of clear stone (cities haha).

As Pyre mouthed off to her she was about to growl and snap back, but Aela's calm demeanour soothed the she's anger. "Yes they can really help, I've seen them do it before. My father was attacked by a bear once and they managed to save him. These humans are different, they care about us wolves and are less than a days walk away. Contrary to what you may believe there are good ones out there, just as there are with everything" she spoke. Her voice was full of confidence, she'd wandered for many months before finding the pack but she'd smelt them the day she left the enclosure.

Aela looked down at Nova, the tender look in her eyes one of pain and sadness. She knew he'd hate to be in the hands of humans. His mentor had been killed by one when he was a cub and he'd hated them ever since. But she didn't want to leave him the way he was either and she trusted Adsila's judgement, after all Adsila cared about him too and she wasn't an unreasonable wolf. Novas chest rose and fell lightly with each breath. His breathing had gotten stronger since they'd stopped the blood flow and he looked as though he were sleeping now, but she knew that that meant nothing if his body didn't handle the shock of the attack and heal itself. From her initial evaluation she knew that several of his ribs were broken and that could lead to him having internal injuries as well. Taking a deep breath, she looked at Adsila "I want to do it. But we have to ask Lucifer first." She then turned to Pyre and gave her a pleading look. "Please understand Pyre, I know you hate humans and with good reason. But we have to think rationally about this."

Lucifer//Alpha//3.5

Her lips peeled slightly as a sharp stinging sprouted all over her body. Scratches, gashes and bite wounds covered her from the alpha and hunter, her brother, at Duskfall. A loud, echoing, snort exited her muzzle as she moved towards the stream near camp and eased herself into it. For awhile after that, the stream ran red, until every last bit of the dried and drying blood was gone she lay in the river. Her head on the shore for the moment, once she seen all the red tinged water had washed away she ducked her head into the water for a bit and pulled up, taking a deep breath and letting the cool water sooth her aching limbs.

Pyre | Noble (excuse any mistakes, its barely eight and im falling asleep, not feeling very well)

Pyre sighed as her sister spoke to her, and with a glance at Nova, looked back at Aela with a fierce look to her eyes "Alright. If Lucifer agrees i have one comdition - Im going, and at the first sign of trouble we are turning around, NO QUESTIONS ASKED." She emphasized the last few words with a flicking tail and light glares at both other she wolves. "And if all goes well and Nova wakes to find himself surrounded by the beings he hates most and holds a grudge against you both, dont blame me for trying to stop you." She glanced at Nova sadly, and limped outside, her tail dragging and her leg aching.

The tawny she-wolf smiled at Adsila "Thank you. I wouldn't have even considered going to humans if you hadn't suggested it." She did what she could for the remaining wounds on Nova's body before standing up and shivering as she stretched. Dust flew from her few as she shook her pelt, feeling a lot more hopeful now. "Will you come with me to see Lucifer? Your opinion outweighs mine on this."

turning to Pyre she looked the female straight in the eyes "I'd rather have him hate me for the rest of his life than know I could've done something and I didn't" she spoke. Now returning her gaze to Aela she nodded her head "of course I will, anything to get this plan in motion" she nodded her head and began to walk towards Lucifer. "Lucifer!" she called, attracting her attention. "Nova's in a dire state and I know of a group of humans who will help him. I know it sounds crazy but these humans are good, they very well may be our only chance to save his life. I'll take full responsibility for what ever happens, I just need your approval" her eyes had a hopeful look to them as she spoke.

The grey/white wolf lifted her head from the riverbank, ears pointed up to the sky as Adsila made her 'case'. "Good humans?" She repeated slowly, looking towards the medics den before back to the Kappa, "Very well, if anything happens to anyone in that group going. I will have your head." It sounded like a joke at first, but the underlying warning said otherwise.

Aela's tail began to wag and she gasped, surprised at how easily Lucifer had agreed even if she had thrown in a threat as well. "Thank you!". She bounded over to Pyre, forgetting about the pain in her side momentarily. "Pyre! We can take him. And you're coming as promised. As soon as he wakes up, which shouldn't be too long." She smiled and brushed her tail over Pyre's the red and gold contrasting like a sunset, and her attention was drawn to Pyre's wounds "Lets take care of those first. You know what mother would say if we were leaving them untreated."

Pyre chuckled lightly at Aela as she mentioned her wounds and their mother "She'd probably say 'You're just asking for infection!' And then lecture us on how easy it is to take care of our wounds and how hard it is to cope with infection after it sets in." She smiled and followed Aela at a limp, "That alpha couldnt take Lucifer, but she wasnt a terrible fighter as Tyrael had claimed. That darn male is just too arrogant to give us good judgment." She sighed, settling into a sitting position so Aela could finish.

Her tail began to wag gently as Lucifer agreed "that's fair enough with me, I'd not have it any other way" she dipped her head respectfully. Turning to Aela she sighed gently "we leave now, if we do we can make it to them when they're out checking the fences. We're more likely to get noticed that way" she told Aela. She shook ehr head at Pyre, she didn't want her to come. Her head turned to Lucifer "I do not want to take Pyre, she distrusts humans too much, I don't trust her to not growl at them or harm them and that will put Nova at risk. That and she won't lsiten to me and I need wolves that will do that" she told Lucifer.

Tyrael snorted, "Dont snap at me! She filled out! When I was there she was just skin and bones!" He growled at Pyre, his ears pinning pack slightly. -so short xD-

Lucifer looked to Adsila, "We need the muscle at camp. But a Kappa, Scout and a unconcious Noble is no match for anything you'll see out there. You need Pyre, You." Her eyes snapped to the other noble, "I need you to LISTEN to Adsila and not growl or compromise this mission got it? We can't have a injured and dead noble can we?" Her head tilted as she popped the question without any restraint.

Pyre snorted at the kappa "Now listen here, you think you can carry him? If we leave now, we have to carry this brute, which in itself is dangerous to HIM. Your not going to find any other wolves that are willing to risk their hides padding up to humans or are not distrusting of them like you. Aela and I are Nova's best friends so we're willing to risk our hides for him, you trust humans and care about him, who else either trusts humans enough to pad up to them and wag their tails or cares enough for him/trusts you enough to risk their hides for this wolf?" She swung her head away, until Lucifer commented and she dipped her head "I wont risk my best friend and sister," she swore, her voice sour but sincere.

Aela
Aela carefully lay crushed marigold petals over Pyre's bites, making a noise of agreement at her statement. Her ears picked up Adsila and Lucifers conversation from outside the healers den and she glanced nervously at Pyre, hoping they could all get along on the mission. One part of her wanted Pyre to come along desperately, as she knew she could count on Pyre to protect them if worst came to worst, but a small part of her mind wondered if what Adsila said was true, and Pyre would endanger the mission instead. She resolves to stay silent for now and let the fates decide. "Tyrael even took on Lucifers brother," she smirked. "Either he's too brave or his judgement really is off like you said!" She looked at Lucifer "And don't worry alpha. I'll keep my hot headed sister in line."
