I flicked my ear, letting Pyre know I saw the grin. I don't want to irritate Pyre, I would be stupid to. She is an excellent fighter, though confrontational. I'll just wait for my time to train the apprentice.

Nova stood and padded leisurely over to the hunting party, dipping his head to Nakoma. He smiled at Aela and she returned it, the excitement she felt over the hunt showing clearly on her face. Nova tapped Pyre with his paw "How do you expect to train an apprentice when you act like a pup yourself?" he chuckled. "This is an exercise built on team work. If Arielle only pays attention to a single wolf, how can we expect her to understand all the dynamics of the hunt? This is a job for all members of the party." He flicked his ears at Nakoma "If you don't mind me saying." He winked at Arielle, understanding how she must be feeling.

I returned the nod to Nova, and readjusted in my spot as Nova spoke, tuning in at the point where Nova brought up training the apprentice. I waited quietly for him to finish. I gave another nod to Nova, and softened my voice, "It's truly fine. I should've checked with Pyre before attempting to take responsibility of Arielle." I gave a respectful nod to Pyre, restating my apology.

Scowling, Pyre shot an annoyed glance at Nova "Why are you always right? Fiiiiineeee, Little Legs, Nova's right as always, stick close to me but make sure to pay attention to every wolf, every position in a hunt is important and needed, alright? Nova-the guard and final attack; Aela-the scouter and herder; Adsila-the attacker, herder, and strategist; Nakoma-the guard and attacker; Me-attacker and herding. You, for today, are the observer, so watch us all closely." She nodded at Nova "Happy, blubberbutt?" she grinned mischievously and gave a soft smile to Nakoma "It's fine, Zeta. I should be more respectful to you, as my superior in rank-" dipping her head and pinning her ears, she showed her submission "-if i did not show you respect, I would be a poor example to the young apprentice."

Arielle stood, standing with the rest of the party near everyone, yet obviously favoring Pyre and Nova. She gave a smile as Nova winked to her, but an odd feeling rushed through her atbthe same time. Confused by this, she shook her head slightly, clearing away whatever she felt. When the feeling cleared, Arielle nodded, acknowledging the positions given to her and the others. She happily wagged her tail, realizing that when she woke up this morning, she would have never expected to go on and watch a deer hunt.

"We ready then?" I asked politely, looking among all the wolves in the hunting party. Successfully bringing down a deer would be a good sign for the pack. But I hope the herd they are talking about isn't near the Sunrise boarder. We don't need a misunderstanding with them right now, with emotions still running high between the two packs.

I finished tidying up my den, before exiting it. I looked around the den site to see what looks like a hunting party getting put together. 'I'll have to go get it then.' I thought seeing Nakoma in the party. I nodded to the party as I passed, before coming to Murdoch. "Tell them I will be back soon, if they ask where I may be." I instructed the young wolf politely, before continuing out of the den site.

Nova gave a small sigh of relief that the moment of tension had passed. He'd seen enough 'tension' within a pack to last him a lifetime, though as least the experience had given him practice with dispute solving no matter how small. Omega's really had it tough, being the ones responsible for keeping the peace. "I'm happy," he smiled to Pyre. "And ready," he added in response to Nakoma. "Let's all do our best!" He could already feel his heart race increasing slightly and his senses sharpening in response to the adrenaline beginning to make its way through his veins. Nothing was so much fun as a good hunt with friends.

Aela hopped on her toes and said cheerily, "This way! They were a quarter league from the border so hopefully we won't have a run in with Sunrise pack but you never know." She turned with a swish of her long tail and led the way out of camp, picking up speed once she had crossed the stream. She didn't want to go too fast since there was a youngster in the group though developing stamina was good for Arielle as well. Nova bounded alongside her, easily keeping pace while keeping a look out on their flanks at the same time. Rogue moose and sometimes even human hunters weren't a threat he liked to be relaxed about.

Her head dipped at the request, "I'll watch for anything, but I doubt something attacks us this close to camp." She kept her voice calm and with slight amusement, the fae looked a bit weird with the herbs sticking out of her mouth in every which way. "We headed to camp or to find more herbs?" Her head tilting ever so slightly towards the borders before back to their healer with a slightly forced smirk. -gawd it's short-

The small auburn fae gave off a loud coughing noise as she sat herself down, her eyes focused upon the hunting party. The fae was often difficult to annoy due to her disposition but this was something that had begun to. "I hate to be a pain but I'm not willing to take sure a young apprentice on an important hunting trip. I know summer is coming and all may go well but there's also the possibility of a drought. I'd like to have at least one deer before they leave the territory, which they are doing now. It's a matter of time and precision and I'm not taking any chances" she spoke clearly and confidently. She'd never made such a speech before but it felt good. Often she wouldn't interfere even though the hunting party arranging was a job of hers, she wasn't one to abuse power.

Arielle's long legs carried her quickly with the party, though she sometimes lagged behind a yard or two. She wouldn't stay behind long, however, she wouldn't let herself be a disappointment. Her mouth opened gleefully as she romped through the forest. Normally, the chilly stream wetting her legs would have slowed her down, but she pressed on, excited for the hunt.
