Kade | Female | 4 years | Doberman Pinscher Mentions: Roman Kade uncurled from her sleeping position and stood before just walking away from where she'd chosen to spend the night. She had no proper 'home' or den, she simply explored as she wished and bedded down wherever happened to be convenient. When she stretched, several of her vertebrae cracked, and she couldn't remember how long she'd been sleeping, but there was a constant gnawing in her stomach that suggested it had been more than a few hours. A few days, perhaps, because she'd eaten plenty the day she slept. For her, time was strange. Kade would stay awake for days at the time, and when she decided it was time to sleep, she slept for only slightly less time than she'd been awake, and it was still days at the time. Her personal record for sleep had been three weeks, and she'd woken up half-starved. Normally, it wasn't hunger that woke her, it was the feeling that maybe she should wake up. Once she'd decided that she had been asleep for a total of four days, Kade glanced around and then started moving again. She only stopped when she realized that she could smell another canine. With the lack of wind, it was likely they could smell her, as well, so she decided to just get it over with and headed toward the source. The scent led her to a large warehouse sort of thing that she'd seen before but taken no note of. And there she found a husky-looking male larger than even herself. To her, it didn't matter if he was larger, for that meant that she was faster, if it came down to a fight. Kade stepped out of the shadows and watched him for a moment, making herself seen, before she spoke. "I am Kade," she said, her voice quiet, though it seemed louder in the complete silence. "I smelled you a while ago and wondered, so here I am." ((Waiting to post with Proko.)) ![]() |

Seirsha | Female | 2.5 Years | Collie Mix Location: West Chernobyl Headquarters Mentions: None, but hears someone The soft fog curled upward around her paws, coming up to mid leg, though it wasn't a bother. Fog is normal to have in the headquarters. It even helps stalk other dogs if they are in your way, but if your the submissive type, then it will help you escape from aggressive others. Claws clicked against the cold hard cement of the building, causing an echoing sound that bounced off the walls and carried the sound elsewhere. The sound of a sniffing nose followed by clicking as a lone female dog walked along, in the search of food. Her thin frame weaved in and out of places, searching high and low for anything. Seirsha lifted her head to sniff the air, wondering if where was anything like a rat running around hiding from hungry dogs like herself. The collie mix hopped around as her stomach snarled at herself, a gnawing pain driving her for something to eat. Straightening, she could soon picture what the female dog appeared to look like. Semi long fur the color of orange with a white under markings. As you move downward, you noticed she is missing a leg. Most likely from the radiation poisoning. When you come to her head, her muzzle seems to be different, her top teeth some to be long and curl upward out of her mouth. It makes her appear like she has tucks. They are nice and sharp. Soon there was the sound of squeaking and quickly followed it. This was going to be her meal and not let anyone take it from her. Seirsha ran slightly as she locked onto the scent of the rat. She found it sniffing about some boxes, no doute looking for food as well. The collie mix stalked the prey, getting closer and closer till she pouncing a bit. Her single front paw landed on its tail so it didn't get away as she went in for the killing blow. The rat squeaked loudly as her fangs pieced its windpipe. The female felt rather proud of herself. Glancing around, she noticed no other dog and soon began to eat her kill, trying to be quick, but yet savior the taste of the rat. It might be some more days till her next meal. ![]() |

Hades | Male | Mood: Hungry Hades blundered through the seemingly abandoned city of Chernobyl on muddy, bloodstained, careless paws. Saliva drooped from his mouth as the thought of food plunged through his mind, clearing his brain of any civil thoughts. He hadn't come across a single piece of prey since he'd entered Chernobyl, and he yearned for his teeth to sink into the oh-so familiar taste of fresh meat. It had been a long time since he'd hunted as a pup, but the large stray was delusional enough to believe food would come flying towards him by some nonexistent force. After Hades had traveled quite a long distance, he began to wonder whether there was any life in the city at all. And quite frankly, he'd gotten himself lost. A deep growl escaped his mouth a mere heartbeat before his eyes ran across a huge building only pawsteps ahead of him. "Hmmph, why didn't I see that," Hades grunted with another one of his throaty growls. Confusion lit his gaze, along with a slight hint of curiosity. The building seemed to give off a menacing presence which only made Hades want to see what it hid behind it's shadows. Perhaps he'd even come across some prey cowering in the shelter of the building. He'd made his mind, and there was no going back now. The eerie sound of Hades' clumsy pawsteps echoed as they crashed against the cold pavement while he made his way into the building through a gap in it's wall. Was there life in the building? Would he discover the prey he desired? Or maybe he'd run across a mutt in the shadows? Hades didn't know, but it sounded like he was about to find out. The nearby sound of a female dog's voice hit Hades' ears almost instantly as he entered the building, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of suspicion. The dog wasn't in his field of vision, and he didn't know if she was alone or not, but he figured he'd eavesdrop a while longer until he was inevitably discovered. ![]() |

Sierra|Female|GermanShepherd|4Years| Location: Kennel/Outside a kennel (Dog Catcher) Mentions: None yet. You can interact with her though! Sierra whimpered and pawed at the barbed wire, cutting her pawpad on the 'thorn-like' material. She growled, pawing the ground with frustration. She looked at the top of the 'fence' and realized something she should'v e realized before. "Why didn't I think of this?" she asked herself, huffing before backing up, backing up as far as she could. Once she felt her tail press against the opposite wall of the wire, she took a deep breath. She then charged, running at full speed and, once at the right spot, pushed up on her front legs, then her hind legs, leaping successfully over the barbed wire. She stumbled when she landed, rolling in the dusty ground. Once she got up, she sat down, panting. She got up, look behind her at the fence, realizing it had touched her by seeing a matted piece of brown fur on the barbs. She huffed before continuing along the road, raising her head and opening her mouth a bit to sniff, hoping to find scents of prey. -svs- ![]() |

(Gah, writors block be like "Nope, no posting for you today.") Tyrael||Male||4||NAID A rather large, wolfish looking, canine moved through the shadows with a loud booming snort, his icy eyes burning into those daring to approach. His black/white pelt blended in well with the alley, though his eyes glowed in the darkness. Large, overgrown, fangs hung from his upper lip, reaching just past his chin while he moved silently. His ribs unseen through his thick and fluffy pelt, if it weren't for the scars littering his course pelt, he'd seem almost.. Welcoming.. In a strange and eerie way. His thick black collar still hanging onto his neck with a bit of red wire swinging off it, where he'd bit it off in his escape of the wretched dog ring. I'll kill them all. He snarled to himself silently, his aggression issues not helping his case at all. ![]() |

~ Roawna - Female - 3 years - Shepherd Mutt - Location: Chernobyl Amusement Park - Mentions: Tyrael ~ The Shpherd mutt kept her nose to the ground. I'm not lettin' this bugger escape...no siree! She huffed, frustrated, as the scent of the rat faded in and out, tantalizingly close, but yet so far... Roawna stopped suddenly, frozen, rooted to the spot. Her nose twitched again to be sure, and she turned to her left. "Now what on earth...?" she muttered, to herself. She suddenly tensed up, eyes widening, save for the emotionless, blind third eye on her brow. "Stupid girl, stupid girl..." The scent of another dog drew near. It belonged to a large brute, and an angry one at that. Roawna considered leaving the scene, but it would be too much to hope for that he had not already caught her scent. And there is nothing as tantalizing as fleeing prey... The mutt was weak. She had not found food for several days, and her strength in fighting was sapped. No, no. She would have to meet him, face-to-face, without fear. She shook her pelt, and trotted towards him, humming nonchalantly, yet eyes alert. With luck, he would let her pass without a fight... ![]() |

Tyrael||Male||4||NAID The wind brushing across his snout brought a heavy scent of a female, he sniffed again with a growl. Yep, female, Shepherd of some kind, Weak. As she strolled towards him nonchalantly, a fierce growl exited his muzzle. Crouching low into a hunting-like position and letting another bone chilling growl. His ice blue eyes grazing over her pelt with a newfound blood lust, the need for a fight growing within him as he inched forwards, slowly. ![]() |

~ Roawna - Female - 3 years - Shepherd Mutt - Location: Chernobyl Amusement Park - Mentions: Tyrael ~ Roawna paused, a paw lifted daintily into the air. Her gaze roved across the challenger, his aggression fairly steaming off his figure. What a hot head. No manners at all! "Now, now," she said, sternly, "Is that any way to greet a lady? Didn't ye mother teach you any proper etiquette at all, hon?" Her mind was in over drive, scanning, trying to discern any weakness. He was strong, but brash. Still, Roawna did not like her chances. She could try to get on his better side, but Roawna was not looking to die. Not today. "Hm. Guess not." She sat down, tail thumping slightly, "And ye can stop making faces at me," she added, with perhaps a tad more confidence than she felt, "Wipe that snarl off yer face, or are ye going to tell me the radiation froze yer features like that?" she laughed, good-humorously. ![]() |

Seirsha | Female | 2.5 | Collie Mix | In Heat Location: West Chernobyl Headquarters Mentions: Skins & Hades Swallowing the last of the rat, the collie mix turned her head around, able to scent of dogs. Tilting her head to the side, she raised her muzzle some, scenting the stall air and blinked a bit. She turned around as she licked her muzzle of any blood, wanting to get the remains of rat off. As she hopped around, her eyes widened seeing a very white and skinny dog in front of a large aggressive looking dog. Seirsha stayed in the shadows, not wanting to be caught in a fight, but the closer she looked, the white dog appears to be blind. With ear flattened, the ginger and white dog slowly made her way to the pair, wanting to help the blind dog. "Hey! Tall white dog!" the female barked softly, wanting to stay hidden in the shadows. Unlike others, Seirsha has only three legs and not four like other dogs. It makes her not as fast as the other four legged dogs ![]() Edited on 06/11/15 @ 19:29:58 by | starsky | (#2771) |

Kade | Female | 4 years | Doberman Pinscher Mentions: Roman Location: Base Kade held her head up high, almost imperiously, as the male spoke. "Names are unimportant to me; they matter not in dreams, of which I have many," she said, half like she was explaining, half like she was talking to herself. She'd been alone too long with just herself and her dreams, sleeping the years away, and it was like she'd forgotten that there was a real world. When he asked about the warehouse, if she'd been there, Kade considered it. For another, it may have been frightening that she didn't know where she'd been before, but the Doberman was not that sort of dog. A moment later, she decided on her answer. "Here, I walk in my nightmares," she said, her voice still quiet. "And many things here are worthy of being the terrors of my mind." A sudden sharp pang reminded her of her hunger. "Oh. Roman. That's interesting," Kade said, tilting her head to the side. She had vague dream-memories of a Roman, though she only connected the name with the idea when she heard it. In her dreams, he walked beside her, big-grey-scarred-dog, and together, they fought the night terrors in her nightmares and hunted in her dreams. Kade's dreams were strange things, much different than human dreams, and even those of other dogs, because of her unusual sleep cycle. "Well, Roman, I just woke up, and I am very hungry. Would you hunt with me?" The way she spoke was similar to how you'd ask someone to dance, but instead of 'shall', there was 'would'. It was an offer, but not really a question that needed answering. Prokopenko | Male | 3 years | Mutt | Blind Location: Forest. Mentions: No one, open for interaction. Prokopenko walked softly among the trees, listening to the wildlife that scurried away from him as he passed and smelling water and moss on the air. Leaves, decaying in layers, no longer crunched under his paws, but somehow he heard them anyway, though his footsteps would have been inaudible to any other. Even though he couldn't see, it was like he could sense trees in front of him, so he never ran into anything, until he finally cleared the edge of the forest. He didn't like straying from this 'safe' place, because he couldn't see glass under his paws in the other places, but sometimes he did anyway, such as now, as he wandered down a street, carefully placing his paws so that nothing would cut his feet. ![]() |

Tyrael||Male||||4||NAID Ty let out another inhumane snarl as she tried to get the snarl off his face, "You have 3 seconds before I tear that pretty little throat of yours out and leave you to bleed out and be vulture food." He snapped out harshly, coiling his muscles and bristling further as she tried to joke around, "Think this is a laughing matter?" He snapped out again, lunging at her suddenly, aiming to pin her down and hold a paw to her throat rather then tear skin right off. His lips curled back as he growled at her, spit rolling off his teeth and hanging dangerously close to her face. ![]() |

~ Roawna - Female - 3 years - Shepherd Mutt - Location: Chernobyl Amusement Park - Mentions: Tyrael, (Open for approach) ~ Roawna seemed unperturbed at being pinned. She wrinkled her nose slightly at the ribbon of drool dangling centimeters over her face, but reverted her attention back to the hound, "Ye think this is not a laughing matter? You're the only one being downright unpleasant here." She rolled her eyes with a melodramatic sigh, "Oh dear. I get it now. It's not like we dogs have enough problem upon our paws to just survive day-to-day, but now dogs swagger 'rounds the streets looking to fight and kill their own kin. I love this solution, don't you?" She paused thoughtfully, her eyes becoming a bit distant. She seemed to forget about her current predicament. "The world would be a whole lotta better if a few more dogs learned to laugh" She moved suddenly, unexpectedly. With a quick twist, Roawna snapped her jaws down hard over the paw pressed rudely against her throat. Taking advantage of the momentary leeway, She rolled out from under Tyrale, and sped off into the distance. "It hasn't been a pleasure, Ty!" she called over her shoulder, mockingly, "Have fun lurking around lookin' fer more blood te stain yer paws." ![]() Edited on 06/11/15 @ 23:15:45 by Enigma (#66765) |
