|Zulu|Male|Pitbull Mix|Alleyways|Mentions: Manolo| The sound of claws clicking over concrete become muffled as the unsteady white dog made his way into the damp and dark alleyway. His eyes flittered over rats, mice, even cats without really noticing them as he walked towards an unknown destination though he walked with purpose. Snapping back to reality was hard for the pitbull mix as he glanced around the alleyway with more focus before his eyes narrowed in on a thin cat skulking through the shadows with bright green eyes. Zulu’s fur bristled up and a loud, sharp bark echoed through the empty area before he bolted after it, kicking up stones and chips of asphalt as his long nails dug into the dirt of the alley. His teeth bared in a vicious manner as he followed the feline out and onto the street, he didn’t make any real growling or snarling noise, only the click and scrape of nails on concrete and asphalt. Bunching the muscles in his back legs, he launched forward and sunk his nails into the cat before delivering the killing bite to the throat. He didn’t drop the small prey animal till all movement stopped, and he still had to shake his head to dislodge it from his backwards curving teeth before settling down on the sidewalk where he had caught his food. He placed one paw over it and went to dig in before he stopped moving, staring back down the street at the sight of something small padding closer this way. Huffing and deciding to speak up just so he didn’t scare whatever was coming his way. ”Hello? Whose goes there? Are you real?” He asked is a soft voice, though it did carry more in the empty street. ![]() |

Manolo|Male|Chihuahua|4 y/o Location: Streets Mentions: Zulu The sharp smell of blood wafted through the air, sickening Manolo but as the same time provoking his hunger. His body shook like a leaf and he pinned his bat like ears down, somewhat confused at the question. "A-Am I real?" he echoed the other dogs words, slowly inching forward at the non-aggressive behavior. Keeping a submissive demeanor, he moved close enough to see the other dog and immediately made sure he didn't make any form of eye contact, out of fear. The other dogs glorious presence intimidated him and he glanced up occasionally to admire those massive, blood covered teeth. The fog rolled between them, making the situation a little more fear inducing for the pint-sized chihuahua. "I am real, I-I believe so....I am Manolo, but you can call me Manny...only if you want to though....I do not wish for conflict, please, I'm just looking for a meal.." he explained shakily, drool forming on his lips at the sight of the meat under Zulu's large paws. He imagined how easily he could be killed by this male, how he'd make barely a snack, and he hoped that fact would keep him safe from being eaten. He walked on eggshells, just in case he made the wrong move and had to bolt. But lord, did that cat look good and he licked his lips absentmindedly, keeping his head low. ![]() Edited on 15/11/15 @ 11:23:04 by slugzillla (#51715) |

Ty, I was not meaning to be 'snappy' as you said. I was just saying because I figured you just liked to let a few people before you, to be polite. I am sorry, I honestly did not mean to come off as 'snappy' or 'rude' as I apparently do at points. I am sorry you might be dropping :( I wish you wouldn't)) Edit: I re-read your post and you said that you liked to wait, which is exactly what I said. -shrugs- my brain just might not be working.)) ![]() Edited on 14/11/15 @ 19:00:52 by Christicat15 (#54511) |

|Zulu|Male|Pitbull Mix|Alleyways|Mentions: Manolo| The curly furred white dog watched in silence as the tiny dog walked forward slowly, everything about this dog, Manny, screamed submissive and not a threat. Huffing out a very quiet laugh and shifting so that his paws were crossed in front of him, instead of splayed with one over the cat and one hanging off the sidewalk, he changed so that they were crossed in front of him. Zulu cocked his head in an avian-like manner, eyes locked on Manolo as he listened to him speak. ”Manny, It is good you don’t look for conflict, friend. Conflict will bring nothing but bad feelings and death to your paws.” He replied quietly before nudging the cat forward to rest between them both, not bothered by the way the blood stained his paws and muzzle a pinkish color. ”I am real. My name is Zuluioun, I preferred to be called Zulu for it is much simpler. And you have found a meal here small friend, eat your fill, catching another is simple if your fast.” The lisp and lilt of the words were followed by him staring off into the fog of the alleyway again with pressed forward ears, before his gaze snapped back to the little dog. Truly, he meant the Chihuahua no harm at all in any way. Zulu was just a strange dog with stranger mannerisms and a wispy tone, one of the few on the streets who didn’t crave violence. ![]() |

Ash-female-unknown-2-mentions- N/A, open for any interactions! She yawned sitting up. As she yawned her mouth unhinged. A blaze of pain hit her. Shif! She yelled. She hinged it back sorely. She could hinge and unhinge her jaws. It was very painful though. Not really worth the pain. Unless she was fighting. It often intimidated a dog. It made sense, wouldn't you be scared if you fought someone that had a mouth big enough to bite your head off? Ash knew she would. Her teeth were also curved backwards, making it hard to escape her grasp. She had many mutations. They were a curse. ![]() |

Inconnu | Genderless/Male | Basenji | 2yrs 8mnths Location | Streets Mentions | Ash Head and ears bowed low, the little basenji paced the endlessly winding streets. Sporadically, he would snap out an echoing howl, his larynx crackling in overuse. The young dog seemed oblivious to it -- creeping through the alleys, carefully measuring his paw steps to minimize the clattering of his claws. He appeared to be under the impression that he was being stealthy, though any dog could look upon him and clearly discern the opposite. Eventually, however, he finally quieted, silencing the haunting echoes that bounced off the surrounding buildings. Hunger pinched his stomach as he moved along, and it was all he could do to stop himself from snapping at the pain, taking it in his fangs and forcing it to cease. As he finally tread upon a familiar path, the scent of dogs, a mix of both old and new, met his inquisitive nose. Subconsciously, his movements slowed even further, his body portraying the sudden trepidation that pooled in his stomach. Where dogs roamed, so did danger -- Inconnu, by no means large in comparison to many, was severely disadvantaged when it came to collisions of tooth and claw. In fact, it would likely be better to avoid them at all costs -- except for the unfortunate circumstance in which where there were dogs, there was also food. Otherwise, why would they bother to stay? One scent in particular was disconcerting in its proximity, and the basenji drew to a halt, nose twitching in an almost frantic rhythm as he slowly roved his head, seeking the source. Eyes catching upon movement in the fog, his heart leapt into his throat, and he wheeled back, rear legs scrambling inconsistently with his forelimbs in his urgency. The figure in the fog was large, dark – and dangerous, he immediately determined, pressing himself close to the wall he had backed himself up against. Had his tail been able to contort in such a fashion, it would have tucked between his legs, but as it was, it remained curled taut against his flank. Warily testing the air, it was easy to discover the gender of this strange dog – female, and a massive one indeed. Ears flattening against his skull, his maw parted in an anxious yawn, followed by a rapid licking of his lips. Should he run? He didn’t know – he was fast and agile, but this stranger had unknown physical capabilities. Her legs were certainly longer, her stride wider – and her jaws, no doubt, far more deadly. The little dog leapt as the female burst out an obscenity – and with that, his nerves snapped. Darting from his cowering stance, he streaked across the alleyway, making significant headway toward another mess of labyrinthine streets, claws scrabbling for purchase upon the concrete. All efforts of stealth forgotten in the face of such a significant threat, the little dog ran for all he was worth, hoping he would leave whatever confrontation that would have occurred in the dust. Exhaustion continued to drag his paws, however, heightening his fear as his speed began to inevitably dwindle. ![]() Edited on 16/11/15 @ 19:11:46 by Piper [SC][MP] (#21479) |

Ash-female-unknown-2-mentions- Inconnu Hearing the little dog run she sat up. She gave him a few seconds of head start. She then took off. Because of her long leg stride, her back legs overlapped her front ones. She crouched low to the ground for more speed. She wasn't going to lose this one. She followed him closely. Even though he has a big headstart she was on his tail. It was no surprise. He was very small. She was very big. But, you never knew. She followed him on every twist. When he came to a halt she skidded for a few seconds before stopping fully. She barely panted after she stopped. She walked closer to him, her claws scraping the pavement. If there was a fight she knew who would win. It was no question. Her rock hard pads took her closer to the smaller male. Or was he a male? He had no specified gender smell. She was confused. She shook her head, clearing it. There was no need to think about that. Her mouth parted for a second, tasting the air. She then Closed her mouth decisively. Her from fangs were still out though. They always were. They went down around a half inch from her jaw. They also curved back wards and were seriously sharp. ![]() |

Inconnu | Genderless/Male | Basenji | 2yrs 8mnths Location | Streets Mentions | Ash Whirling as he came muzzle to metal with the cold visage of a chain link fence, the small dog turned, sides heaving, to face his pursuer. Indeed, she was large -- looming taller than he had previously guessed, having spotted her in the distance. She was an odd-looking beast, body and features lined with a feral air that most dogs lacked. Her form was not quite similar to any dog he had previously met, which made the encounter even more unnerving, if that was even possible. The overlong, backturned fangs, however, were not an unfamiliar sight -- in fact, he had observed such peculiarities in other residents of this long-abandoned city, and would occasionally mourn the absence of a pair of his own. He would certainly be more intimidating, had he been graced with a pair -- or, at the very least, better at hunting. Backing up, he allowed his haunches to press securely against the metal, the rusted structure bowing ever so slightly against his weight. If he was quick, he could climb it... though he was concerned that he may not be quick enough. Watching the dog in silence, the basenji pulled his gaze away, tongue sneaking over his lips in minor but blatant displays of submission. It hurt his pride to do so, though it was wise to kick any sense of nobility out the window when faced with a dog who would sooner pick her teeth with one's bones, and it had a tendency to work, depending on the temperament of the animal. Though more significant attempts at appeasement would certainly be more efficient, there were certain precautions he preferred to take instead. If this dog intended to attack him, no matter what he did, it would be sheer stupidity to display his belly or throat, or even approach her in general. Inconnu wasn't interested in making himself meal-ready. So, hoping for the best, he maintained his pose, curled tail offering a frantic wag. ![]() Edited on 16/11/15 @ 20:42:12 by Piper [SC][MP] (#21479) |

((Sorry if anything is bad right now, I'm on a phone currently)) Ash-female-Unknown-2-mentions- Inconnu She growled at him. He was showing signs of submission. That was very wise. Some of the dogs she had met would think she was mentally unstable. She wasn't though. Turning her thoughts back to the gender less dog she Spoke to it in a rough voice. It had the slightest hint of threat in it. "Who are you?" She growled, her muzzle in his face. She wasn't a patient one. Not even close to being remotely patient. She was the dog that wanted things when she asked. She had been known to steal food from dogs. What they didn't know was that she had limits. She never stole from the weakest. She never took from young ones or pups. She never grabbed from the pregnant or nursing. She had a weak spot for weak ones. She hated seeing a dog so thin if a strong wind blew it would fall over. But you seemed to see that a lot these days. ALOT more than it used to be. ![]() |

Kade | Female | 4 years | Doberman Pinscher Mentions: Roman, Prokopenko Location: The forest Kade considered his question before she remembered the answer: she was never hungry in dreams, and only ever hunted for the joy of it. But he was already gone, most likely circling around, because she was the leader of this hunt and had actually been about to ask him to do so. They seemed more connected, a suitable pair, than she'd thought they would be. After waiting for a few moments, Kade decided that he had to be in place by then, and burst from the undergrowth, aerodynamic and glorious. The deer never saw her coming and it was only after a moment that she realized that two - the one she was going for and another - had no ears. There was no hole for the ears, either, nothing to indicate that they'd ever head ears, which made her wonder if they could hear, or if they had ears hidden somewhere else or covered by fur, or if they were deaf. It seemed that they were deaf, as it took the remaining doe bolting off for them to start running. By then, it was too late. Kade's powerful jaws snapped at the doe, half dragging her down, but even though she was a large dog, in her half-starved state, she wasn't heavy enough to pull even the smaller doe down for a kill. Blood filled her mouth, salty but somehow sweet, and she absolutely refused to let go of the deer, snapping her hind leg with the strength of her jaws and teeth and causing the deer to stumble and almost fall. If Roman would just come in and go for the kill, they'd be good. ![]() |

Manolo|Male|Chihuahua|4 y/o Location: Alleyways Mentions: Zulu When Zulu looked past Manolo, with a distant aura about him, the chihuahua looked up to gaze at him. He was well built, the blood on his pelt making him look like a fighter. The loose white curls defied gravity and contrasted greatly with the dogs thick, sturdy head. The instant Zulu returned his line of sit to Manolo he quickly focused his attention on the damp and filthy concrete below them. He prayed to his mother that he wouldn't do something dumb, dogs these days snapped at the slightest thing and he knew he was easily beat. Despite his fear, he was utterly thankful for the meal offered to him and he inched closer, licking his muzzle and he took in the scent of the animal. His voice was small, as if he couldn't speak louder than a low whisper, "Thank you...Zuluioun..." he offered, though he was still wary. How could he not be? Every dog thats crossed his path has been a threat, he was an easy meal, but somehow he made it this far; he could only hope that he'd be able to keep it up. He was slow, tediously so, just to be careful as he sunk his thin, sharp teeth into the cat. The iron flavor that filled his mouth caused him to give up his cautious behavior and he dug into the carcass, trying to at least eat enough to stop the cramping pains in his abdomen. This was good, maybe they could become allies, maybe Zulu could offer protection. But as he ate he realized he had nothing to offer the larger canine. He couldn't hunt large meals, nor fight, and his home was certainly too small for the other to fit into. He could expand though, he was a good digger and could make it work. He was getting much too far ahead of himself though. He pulled away from the meal, embarrassed by the greedy behavior he showed. Licking the blood off of his slim snout and glanced up at the other, "I'm sorry...I shouldn't be so greedy when you're offering such a bountiful meal to me.." ![]() Edited on 17/11/15 @ 14:02:07 by slugzillla (#51715) |

Inconnu | Genderless/Male | Basenji | 2yrs 8mnths Location | Streets Mentions | Ash The little dog flinched as her muzzle was shoved into his face, but he wouldn't -- or rather, couldn't -- back up any further. He kept his eyes focused to the side, watching her closely with his peripheral vision. His body shivered as her breath puffed hotly against his fur, resisting the urge to snap or flee out of fright. In lieu of this reaction, he turned his muzzle to meet hers, offering a few, pleading licks upon her lips. At her question, he abruptly stopped, the fur twitching along his hide as he attempted to muster some sort of response. Truthfully, he had no recollection of when he had last uttered a word. "Inconnu," he managed at last, his voice so whispery and weak it was near inaudible. Several desperate swallows followed the word, and the basenji licked his lips again, though this time it was not in submission. Curiously enough, the mere act had been painful, scratchy -- and confusing. Had his voice fallen dormant, so much so that it was as difficult to arouse both mentally and physically? Of course, unbeknownst to him, his voice was far from dormant, and the pain resulted from overuse, not under. Still, he pondered over this oddity for several moments, before abruptly remembering he was in the presence of another. Stealing a rapid peek at her face, he fell once again into silence and submission, offering no further information on the subject. ![]() |

Ash-female-unknown-2-mentions- Inconnu Location:Street She took a short step back, giving him some room. What are you doing here? She demanded. If it was here trying to steal her food... Well, let's just say he won't survive She thought. She had fought before. MANY times. Her probably had only fought once or twice. Even if he and fought a lot, he didn't and a chance against someone of her size. The filthy, contaminated air blew through her rough fur, rustling it. Suddenly she felt a bite on her muzzle. She lofted her back leg, scratching her muzzle. She stood up the whole time. For most dogs it would not be possible. But she had extra long, mutated legs. ![]() |
