The Dark Brown female narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Raphael and then nearly growled at Artemis as she popped into view. She thought about ignoring them, but figured it wouldn't work as well as it would in her head. She huffed annoyed and looked at Artemis since she was smirking at her own smugness. She inwardly rolled her eyes.
"Being a 'little spy' and all, i just got back from my mission. Wanting to spend atleast one day here at home before I must leave again." She looked at Raphael and then back at Artemis.
"Now what did I do to earn this visit?" She asked. She was extremely unsatisfied with the unfamiliar crowd as Artemis and Raphael both didn't really speak to her much.

It was true, she never discussed the details of her mission with no one but the Alpha and any who was in company. She had been observing everyone ever since she returned to find everything new. She noticed Zenya and Ven behind Artemis's head and narrowed her eyes once more. Zenya seemed to be desperate for an escape, and Ven wasn't getting the picture.

She was out spying 99% of the time so no one really knew her, mostly all they knew were her aloofness, Name, and that she was a Spy/Assassin. She also saw Killua enter camp and she suddenly thought of something to ask, but it would have to wait until she was finished with these two.

Killua | Beta | Shadowpack

Killua's glance remained on Ven and Zenya for a moment longer than the others and he called over "Ven, can you go and collect some herbs from the forest? Zenya is going to be busy helping me with something." He called, waving his tail at the female to join him as he padded past Artemis, Raph, and Miro "Artemis, watch your six." He grunted before snapping at the base of her tail, his sister recoiling as soon as he called out to watch her rear. She spun around with a smirk "Oh? Someone's in a good mood despite not going on a mission in a while." She sneered and nodded to Raph "Something's about to happen and I want to know, join me and Kil and you get to sit with your little prey." She sneered and bounded after Killua, who was heading for a more secluded tree on the other side of the training area, the other side from Illumi, Jazz, and Vex.

Zenya || Female || Gamma (Shadowpack) || Mentions: Ven, Killua, Raphael, Miro

Zenya's ears flattened all the way when Ven told her to go with him, she almost snapped at him when he nipped her ear. Zenya turned as she heard Killua approach, she looked at him with respect and relief, she padded closer to him and followed behind him, she had wanted to spend time with Raphael but it looked like now wasn't the time, she let out a soft whine as she passed him. Zenya stayed close to Killua, "Is something happening?" She pondered out loud.

Vendetta (Ven) || Male || Gamma (Standby-Healer/Shadowpack) || Mentions: Zenya, Killua, herbs, forest

Ven's ears flattened slightly, a snarl caught in his throat, "I sure can." Satire dripped from his words as he trotted past the two, he nipped at Zenya's tail on his way out. He took off at a lope and disappeared into the forest, he knew that certain herbs would be blooming during this season so he would start with those and work his way to the more scarce ones.

She inwardly signed in relief when Artemis bounded away. She shook her head and muttered under her breathe. She watched as everyone milled about and suddenly felt alone, despite Raphael beside her but no doubt he would leave the second he could. Her fluffy tail curled around her feet, completely still. Her ears were held erect as always, no one would know if something was wrong. They've never seen her upset.

She heard the whine as Zenya passed and looked at Raphael "You can leave if you want" she looked out at the wolves again. Wondering when it would be a good time to leave again. She didn't need to be gone long, especially with the Black Water Pack. Their Alpha was truly suspicious and liked to keep an eye on everyone. She needed to gain his complete trust if she was going to be able to get all of the details. Maybe she would propose to be a spy for him and feed him false information.

Killua flicked his ears at Zenya's question, "You could say that. I guess i should start with you anyway, you're not up to par with the other wolves." He smirked as Artemis hovered behind them "We are going to be training like spartans for the next half moon. In a half moon, Miro's current spying mission objectives will be massacred. By us. Im sure you all know this by now, but-" he smirked at Zenya and Raphael as he passed them in his pacing, making them look somewhat like lined up soldiers, "Shadowpack is not for the faint of heart." Artemis pitched in with a bark of glee at her brother's finishing phrase, "Lighthearts need not join!"

She heard what Killua was lecturing and suddenly piped up. She jumped off of her rock, silent as a shadow, and made her way towards them. She knew extensively about her own mission and what the other pack fought like. She sat underneath the tree and listened. She was proud of what she had information she had gathered, and was secretly relieved the mission would end soon. She had been with the Black Water for a month or two. Certainly longer than any of her other objectives.

She watched them, her eyes narrowed and calculating each move and each strength of each fighter.

Illumi | Gamma | Mentions Vex and Jazzlyn
Illumi didn't dodge her attack, knowing that had he been a regular wolf it most likely would have caught him. The sensation of her fangs against his skin sent a surge of excited energy through the male and he barely held himself back from attacking for real. At the same time he felt a flash of approval for the young cub. She'd done what he'd said and gone for the throat first. As she rolled out of Vex's way, Illumi came in from the side and aimed a heavy blow with his paw for her head, pretending to be a third enemy. He decided not to hold back on his attacks; if he drove her to succumbing to her baser instincts as was required then all the better.

Raphael | Gamma | Mentions Zenya and Miro

Raphael followed Miro to where the other wolves were beginning to line up in front of Killua, and took his place next to Zenya, standing closer to her than usual. He hadn't seen Ven flirting with her but if he had he'd probably have torn a limb or two from the larger male (or tried lol). He listened to Killua with a measure of interest, this being the first he'd heard of a raid in these territories. The idea of intense training didn't phase him too much. Meruem had put him through the ringer when he'd first joined and his skills were almost on par with those trained from birth in ShadowPack, as she'd taken him on as her own apprentice since over 6 moons back. It would be a good chance to hone and perfect those skills now.

Meruem | Alpha

Meruem leaped onto the large boulder that served as a platform for when she made announcements, and from this height she could see the entire camp and then some way into the forest as well. Her sharp eyes watched Jazzlyn training for a few moments and narrowed in approval when she saw how far the cub had come. Her speed and reflexes were noteworthy indeed. Illumi and Killua had been right to take her under their wing. Her gaze shifted to settle on Killua and the wolves he had lined up and was explaining about the plan next half-moon, with Miro watching from a small distance away. When Miro's mission was over Meruem would have to reward her in no small way. The alpha started thinking of possibilities.

Jazz felt something slam into her head and bit back a Yelp of surprise, instead attempting to lock her muzzle around the assailant. Her small body diving from the source after her jaws clamped closed and released (if it hit). Her hetero eyes locking on her target as she sped up again, knowing full well these were her pack mates and launched up at the furry tail of Vex but at the same time a back paw kicked up and back. The minute she landed however shaylas scent hit her nostrils and she froze, her entire being buzzing as she darted towards the other end of the training area. "Shayla Shayla!!! Where's mom at? I gotta show her my moves!" All training forgotten at the moment. She hadn't seen her mom in moons!

Killua | Beta | Shadowpack

Killua smirked as Raphael looked smug "Oh you havent been in my training, Raph. Dont get too confident just yet, but i have acknowledged your skills, dont think otherwise." He licked his lips "Artemis and Raph, Zenya and I. First i want to show you guys a move, it focuses on speed, agility, and teeth." He flashed his own teeth, sharpened, marking him fully trained shadowpack wolf. He glanced at Artemis who stepped forward, statue still as her brother started the move.

Killua darted forward and down, using his smaller build to slip under Artemis as she lunged toward him at normal speed. Killua twisted underneath his sister and grazed the inside of her front right knee before springing off the ground with his paws and slamming into her chest with his head, grabbing her throat in his teeth - right over her life source. He remained there a moment, his eyes flashing with adrenaline, before he released her. Artemis rolled her jaw, the force of the blow knocking the wind out of her, then she shook her knee and some droplets of blood littered the ground. Killua glanced at the others and his eyes narrowed "Who will try it first? You likely already know this move, but there's another part and a special part to this.

Zenya scooted closer to Raphael, their pelts touching. She watched Killua and Artemis fighting. Zenya's pelt bristled with adrenaline as she watched closely. She whispered "I think I could take you down." Into Raphael's ear. Zenya started going over the move in her head and assured herself she could do it.

Raphael | Gamma | Mentions Killua, Artemis and Zenya
Raphael nodded to Killua, not questioning his statement. Though his cool mask broke when Zenya whispered in his ear. A sly grin spread across his face "I'd like to see you try," he whispered back before padding over to Artemis, though he gave Zenya a playful glance first. He was eager to get this move mastered since he'd only practised it briefly in the past. If he could protect the things he cared about with it then all the better. For most of his life he'd only been concerned with his own pelt and hadn't realized that having others to protect was both a burden and a blessing. He rolled his shoulders and cricked his neck to the side, giving Artemis a challenging look that clearly said "bring it on".

Illumi | Gamma | Mentions Vex and Jazz

Illumi inspected his paw after Jazzlyn had run off. Yeup, small puncture marks showed where her teeth had broken the skin. He lapped at the blood and set down his paw, watching the cub run to where Isis and Shayla would be returning. "Shall we wait to greet them or see what my brother is doing?" he asked Vex.

Shayla | Gamma

Shayla stepped into camp, the sunlight finally piercing the glade and washing over her white pelt. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the wamth, breathing in the smells that had now become home to her. Returning to the old shadowpack had been fun and she'd gotten to see her mother and friends again but it wasn't the same as this place anymore. She loved this forest. A high pitched voice caught her attention and she turned to see Jazz racing towards them. It felt like an arrow had pierced her heart. How could she break the news that Isis had died before they had even reached ShadowPack? Crap.

Mika | Gamma

(I decided he's gonna be small again :P)
The snowy white wolf followed Shayla into the glade, his odd yellow and green eyes flicking to every den and wolf nervously. The male was smaller than average, with a petite frame and a scar along his ribcage that he'd had since he was a pup, though he couldn't remember how he'd gotten it. His mother only ever said that it wasn't something he needed to know and being the gentle, non argumentative type he hadn't pressed for more. After his birthpack, River Pack, had been raided and taken over by ShadowPack he'd thought that the black hearted beasts were nothing but monsters to be feared and hated, but travelling with Shayla had given him a different perspective and he was curious to see what the neo shadowpack wolves were like. His sister Terra padded alongside him and he felt comforted by her presence. Her fiery nature and courage was like his shield.

Artemis grinned and started to circle Raph, her head lowered challengingly. She lunged forward at full speed, not givint him a moment to think, and ducked under him, slashing her teeth towards his knee. She was no where near as fast as her brother, but she knew that instinctual speed was faster than what most could reach. A familiar scent passed over her nostrils, mixed in with Shayla, and she figured Shayla had just passed into camp.

Raphaels front legs bent and he half collapsed on top of Artemis, knowing that she was as likely to actually bite him as pull back in time. Plus he wanted to irritate her even a little bit. He smelled Shayla in camp and felt a moment of joy that their pack mate had returned, hopefully with Isis in tow as well.
