Zenya watched the practice fights carefully, seeing each move of each wolf. She watched their mistakes and where they went wrong and kept that in the back of her mind. She knew her small size would give her an advantage but if she got pinned, it could be fatal. Zenya's tail flicked slightly and her ears perked as she scented Shayla, whom had become one of her best friends, immediately she could tell something was off by her presence. Shayla was normally always fun going and goofy almost. Something wasn't right, Zenya's ears flattened and a small whine escaped her throat, she stayed in her spot though, she didn't want to crowd her friend.

Vendetta (Ven) ||Male || Gamma (Standby Healer/Shadowpack) ||Mentions: Herbs, camp, fighting, Shayla, Meruem

After gathering herbs for a while he decided he had enough for now. Ven started at a slow trot back to camp with a mouthful of herbs and barks. After traveling a good distance he arrived at the camp and went to the Healer's den and dropped the herbs in their correct spots. Once Ven was done he padded over to where the others were gathering. He stayed off to the side and began watching the practice session, though his thoughts floated to Meruem. Ven's head turned as he saw the shewolf, Shayla approaching camp, the small rug-rat Jazzlyn bounding toward her.

Jazz never faltered, not noticing the expression of the fae. "Is she here?" Her voice had lowered slightly, ears ever so slightly falling back as she finally noticed the ever so slight from expression on the gammas face. She noticed the other two wolves with shayla but no Isis nor her scent. The pup faltered as she stopped completely, ears snapping back fully. The pup had always been one to see little details though it wasn't a good strong suit.

She watched carefully as Killua instructed how to do a common move.
Miro was the type of wolf who won a fight before it even began. She was able to convince even the strongest of heart that they were being used for nothing, that they should join her instead. She brought a couple of wolves into the ShadowPack like that.

The Black Water uses both strength and speed, they relied more on speed then brute force, but when it got down to it and they had to use brute force...they were savages. She should know, she was taught their ways as a sort of ritual of accepting her into the pack. She didn't think they would be attacking so soon, they needed more time. If she could convince a warrior to teach her pack

Raphael sighed and closed his eyes for a moment "Do whatever you want. Just don't kill me or disfigure me, thanks," he replied and stood back a few paces, getting into position with a wary look in his honey gold eyes. He was smaller than Artemis so he should be able to get under her fast enough. It was having the strength to wind her and go for her throat that he was concerned with. He knew to aim for the solar plexus but didn't know if he'd have time to reach it. The brown male rolled his shoulders and smirked. Time to find out.

Shayla gazed down at Jazz, not being to hide the heartbroken look on her face. A lump came to her throat "I'm sorry Jazzlyn," she whispered and lowered her gaze. "Your mother died before we reached ShadowPack. Th-there was a flood and I got caught in it, and when she saved me she got washed away." Memories of that awful night played through her mind and she could feel the same guilt and helplessness welling up inside her. "I looked for her but she disappeared. I'm so sorry." (I said she got washed away so you could bring her back one day if you wanna. Open death :D you can change it if you want though)

Artemis grinned "You said it not me." She chuckled a bit and waited for him, she noticed him sizing her up and she crouched ever so much. She watched him and waited for his attack - she wouldnt TRY to kill him at least. Let's hope he was strong enough to survive at least that.

Artemis dropped on top of him, curling her paws around his body that was half under hers. She barked "Too slow!" She rolled to the side, aiming to not only drag her with him, but roll him over. In between movement, she barked "Less thinking!" She heaved him sideways and rolled to her side with a snort. She expected the male to resume attacking, and waited, still sitting up on her side.

The female lost interest in Artemis' and Raphael's match, turning her attention towards the old member returning to a warm welcome. She felt a pang, but shook her head at herself, she didn't get a welcoming like that but then again if she had, she wouldn't have liked it.

The Dark brown female diverted her attention to the Alpha, she needed to get her ideas out of her head and make some room for the pack to move. She needed the information only a Alpha's trusted friend could have, and she needed to convince a warrior to train the pack in the ways of Black Water. She needed the okay, and with that....she would ensure her pack's survival and if she could turn a few wolves against Black Water and get them to join ShadowPack, she would be very pleased with herself.

She looked towards the Alpha's den and found the black female perched on top of a large boulder that served as a sort of look out. She made her way towards it and when she was close enough, she barked to announce her silent arrival. "Mereum, May I speak with you for a moment or two?" she asked, her deepish voice sort of unsettling and unusual for a female. Her amber eyes scanned the Alpha's expression, she seemed to have been thinking.

Jazzlyns entire body seemed to freeze as she gazed up at Shayla with wide eyes. "W-What?" Her lip quivered a bit before she gritted her teeth and forced all emotion from her face, she couldn't show emotion! Her already mostly frozen over heart changed for the worse. A empty feeling settled in the pit of her stomach, she knew she was running off her sadness and grief but she couldn't stop the next sentence, "it should've been you." A small whine exited her muzzle before she was darting to where her mom slept, curling into the nest that smelt so much of her mother it was heartbreaking.

Zenya interrupted the fight by barking and nipping at Raphael's ear and Artemis's tail. "Guys, something's wrong..." She said quietly, her eyes searched Shayla's face and then noticed that Jazzlyn started running towards her mother's den. Zenya tilted her head and wondered if she should go to Shayla. She wanted to comfort her friend but wanted her to have space too. Zenya caught Raphael's gaze and tilted her head and flicked her tail nervously.

Vendetta was close enough to Shayla and Jazzlyn that he caught the harsh words from the pup. His fur bristled slightly, if a pup ever spoke to him that way, they would end up with a scar for life. Ven padded away from the practice area, away from the others. He sat outside the Alpha's den, he heard Miro's voice from within and decided that he could wait until they were done. Ven laid down and waited.

Artemis nearly bit into Zenya's muzzle as the wolf snuck up behind her, instead jerking her head away at the last moment and grazing her ear tip. Her lips raised and she stood on her paws before throwing herself at the small wolf, rolling her onto her back "Next time you do that, i wont stop myself. Do NOT interrupt my fight, i dont care about some bad reunion. You should train and focus on the mission. Do i make myself clear, runt?" She growled into the female's face, her neck fur bristling as tall as it could go.
