Killua | Beta | Shadowpack
Killua padded into the camp, he had not seen Lucifer in about two months, and knew that their rendezvous must have produced offspring. Or at least that's what he figured. He was supposed to check in with Meruem right now, so he slipped over to the Alpha den, hoping Jazz was ready for infiltration. If the pups were born, Lucifer would take pity on Jazz if she played the original plan of being that she tried to leave because of her mother's death and was attacked as a warning. Nova would believe it but he may ask how she escaped...this was the part that Killua had come up with after the arrival of Alecai, Terra, and Mikaela. Three wolves anti-shadowpack helped the pup escape the pack's wrath from the inside, with just enough time to slow down the pack. Then, Killua, Meruem, Shayla, and Artemis would enter the camp in pursuit of the pup (if anyone else comes on in time to play it out, one of ours can be switched out then too. Id say the alpha and beta def, or at least alpha and delta show up).

He murmured his entrance to the alpha's den, and padded in. "Alpha Sister." He bowed his head and relayed his findings and speculation to Meruem, then continued with his addition to the plan of Jazz's infiltration of Duskfall.

Artemis was currently washing her neck, which she didnt often do, and chatting with Mikaela. "Mika, what have you been up to?" She hummed, beaming. Her smile had faltered long ago to keep her cold reputation up, but every so often her cold expression would soften into a grin or a laugh and her tail would thump softly on ths ground.

(I looked back, and Shayla hasnt yet told Meruem the message from Kill, Nanuk, and Argen. The 'This is for you. You'll thank us. Mika is your brother and only Artemis knows, the only one that can tame the beast inside of her and soften her into something more tactical and stronger than a mindless killer.')

Shayla | Gamma | F

Shayla brushed past Killua on her way out of Meruems den. She had just delivered the message given to her by Mika's mother and grandmother. Meruem had given no clue as to what she thought of the message but if Shayla knew her cousin at all it would along the lines of Meruem believing she had recieved a gift, with that gift being Mika. An additional sibling was another soldier to boist the ranks of ShadowPack, another pawn for Meruem to use in her quest for power. And his relationship with Artemis was nothing to take lightly either. She knew that Meruem had held doubts about Artemis for a while, with the blood lust of the other sister being a concern. A counterweight like Mika might be just what the pack needed in order to use Artemis' strength to its fullest.

Shayla sighed, all the family ties and drama making her head hurt. She looked around camp, wanting to find Alecai and rest with her mate and their companions. Even Terra's company would be a relief.


Meruem | Alpha | Alphas Den | Mentions Killua

Meruem listened in silence to Killua's report, a shine coming to her eyes at the mention of the plan they were going to carry out with Jazz. She thought over his words for a few minutes. As much as she wanted control of the other pack lands she knew they had to handle the matter with delicacy. She wasn't about to be the downfall of the neo branch because of her haste for power. Though she wasn't against bloodshed she also knew that diplomacy held as much power as fangs and claws. "We may pursue Jazz to Duskfall, however we shall not initiate a fight with those mangy wolves," she finally said. "We ask- no- demand for her to be returned to us. But we do not shed blood and spark a premature war. It would be unusual for a ShadowPack alpha to be willing to sacrifice a gamma for a cub. When they refuse to return her we will leave, though not happily. As for Terra, Mika and Alecai escorting her to those lands, it will be a good test of their acting skills. You've done well Killua."

Mika | Mentions Artemis

Mika was lying beside Artemis, completely relaxed beside the fearsome she wolf. His expression was open and sweet as his bright eyes took in the camp and the comings and goings of various wolves. "I've been training mostly," he replied to Artemis. "Terra and Shayla were in agreement that I'm too soft for a ShadowPack wolf so they've been helping me toughen up. Terra is terrifying when she gets in the mood! She's not as strong as Shayla but at least Shayla eases up when I'm in pain!" He grinned at his sister. "I hope I'm as strong as you one day, A." His ears swivelled and he did a quick scan, making sure his tawny pelted friend wasn't around to hear him speaking like this. But Terra had run off with some gamma to inspect the camp and look over its defences. She never let her guard down, even within her own pack.

Killua dipped his head "My pleasure, Sister. Jazz will do well, she can grieve for her mother for a few days there, and then be ready to teach some small pups how to behave like real Shadowpack wolves." He grinned "A spy, a teacher, and a test of her worth all in one." He dipped his head "I shall leave now, I am permitted to share my plans with Brother, yes? I admit i remain a tad jealous of his new found mate, Vex (yours des), so I'd like to spend some time with him without the company of his buddy to have our bonds remain the same..." he hummed.

Artemis | Delta | Shadowpack

Artemis smiled gently "Ill help you become strong, Mikky. Just stick with me!" She grinned and let her tail thump before licking Mika's ears. She lowered her voice and glanced at the ground "I've done some bad things, Mikky, some beast-like things. I dont want you to get scared of me when you see me fight. If we ever have to fight, I want you to run away, and if you cant, i want you to not look at me or try to help me. Bad things might happen and i dont want that to happen, ever." She remained fixated on her paws now, twiddling her toe pads on the ground.

Alecai | Gamma | SP

Alecai was spread out under a great pine tree a short distance from the edge of camp, not wishing to intrude on anyone's sulking. He glanced ahead of him when he heard footsteps approaching him, with a short yip he attempted to get Shayla's attentiom, wagging his tail in excitement.

The male was lounging at the edge of camp on his own, strangely not accompanied by his constant companion and mate. Vex flicked a ear towards the trees, his moonlit pelt blinding pack members as rays of sunlight danced across his fur. -shortt-

Her ears flickered towards the cave, as they discussed the plan, her game face already set into place. //Im so excited!! My FIRST mission ever! wooooo// Her eyes danced until her mother was mentioned and briefly true sadness crossed her features. The only wolf the cub had ever truly loved was her mother, but she was training to be like killua and his brother *blanked on name*. She danced on her paws and raced into the forest with newfound urgency, her sights locking on a rabbit eating unknowingly in the darkness of a tree root. The average wolf wouldn't spot the creature sitting there, but the pup did her eyes dancing as she lunged towards it with her tongue lolling out of her mouth.

Meruem | Alpha | Mentions Killua and Illumi

Meruem nodded, her eyes flicked past Killua to the den entrance for a moment, seeing Jazzlyns pelt through the opening for a heartbeat as the cub vanished into the woods. Meruem had been watching the young wolfs training for the past 2 moons and could recognise Illumi and Killua in the way she moved and hunted. Their training was paying off. Within the year she would be a fully fledged ShadowPack assassin, and one to be feared. She was still unknown to the other packs and could use that to her full advantage. If their plan worked out, Killuas pups would be brought into the pack and their potential ignited with the proper care. She could barely wait, despite being a normally patient she-wolf.
Her green and yellow eyes locked onto Killuas blue ones again. "Yes, fully debrief Illumi on the plan and spend as much time as you'd like with him." The brothers bond was part of what made them so dangerous together; she wasn't about to let that slip away. "Only you and he shall chase Jazz to Duskfall however. We don't want them feeling threatened by numbers, though I have no doubt that the two of you alone could handle yourselves."

Mika | Gamma | Mentions Artemis

Mika leaned against Artemis, enjoying her warmth and her scent. Though he felt nothing romantic towards her, their friendship that was forged many moons ago still felt as comforting to him now as it did back then. He loved her as much as he loved Terra and Alecai, his litter mates. "I would never be afraid of you, even if you were to rip me open from throat to belly," he murmured with a smile, and licked her cheek. "I know you believe yourself to be a monster, a beast. But when I look at you I see only a friend, no matter how fearsome your blood makes you when you engage in battle. This is one thing that will never change."

Killua | Beta | Shadowpack

Killua nodded his appreciation and headed out the den, glancing around to find an in place - or out of place - shadow. Locating it, he half slunk half pranced over to his brother, grabbing his neck in his jaws and lifting one front leg over his head "Finally you're not being hovered over, Brother. I was starting to feel lonely you know," he fake-whined. After that initial greeting, Killua jumped off and sat next to his brother, head lowered in secrecy "So, the plan is..." and as Killua finished his debriefing, he lowered himself onto the ground, waiting for Illumi to join him.

Artemis whined in relief and nuzzled his cheek affectionately. "That's good to hear, but please do as i said and run away or stay away when we fight. I dont want to actually rip you open Mikky. Im one lucky beast to have you as my best friend" she whined, her tail wagging and her ears pinning in happiness.

Illumi blinked, his fathomless black eyes gazing at his snowy brother. "You, lonely? Killu, you could charm the birds from the trees," he said, and pricked his ears as Killua explained the plan. Once it was over the ink black wolf nodded and curled his long tail around his paws. "Understood. Are you curious about these children of yours, brother?" he asked with interest, peeking at Killua. He didn't know how to feel about the kin he had in Duskfall, but would not let his personal feelings affect the mission.

Mika shook his head and laughed "No way! I'd rather die than leave behind anyone. You asking me to run is like asking the sun not to rise in the morning, or flowers to avoid the sun. Just give up on it." He playfully ruffled her ear with a paw and sat up to stretch/

KIllua | Beta SP

KIllua grinned at his brother and swatted at him playfully, "Charm maybe, care for? I'd sooner eat 'em up. And I don't mean the birds." He sent his brother a wicked grin and chuckled. As he listened to what Illumi was saying he paused momentarily, thoughtful. "Well, in a way yes. I won't deny that I believe more shadowpack blood is needed in this pack. You know very well how i feel about loner raised-outsider wolves in shadowpack, but i wont do anything about the ones that are doing well here. Worst case scenario, we must brainwash the pups to stay here. Good ol' Holmes syndrome style. Best case scenario, they come willingly and we have some of the best bred wolves neo-shadowpack could ever wish for. Not full shadow bred, but i picked their surrogate with the utmost confidence in her abilities and social structure. The alpha of a rival pack has fallen for those very charms my brother, now she bears my pups, and she is definitely not a for-show alpha. There is no one more skilled in that pack, i can guarantee that with my own experience and back it up with my own abilities. If that is what you mean by curious, i guess."

Artemis narrowed her eyes at Mika "Im not joking around here Mikky. Until i say otherwise i want you to run when given the chance in a battle alongside me. I dont want to say you are a liability but as long as i am going all out you may very well become a casualty, and i refuse to go all out if you are anywhere beside me, thus you will then be a liability. Please understand i say this as a well trained fighter for a generations old pack of murderers and tacticians." Artemis rose to her paws and glanced around, locating KIllua and Nova quickly. "As much as I'd like to continue this, i have training to do. You're welcome to watch, as I won't be going all out with my brothers anyway. We'd tear this camp apart before we finished off each other." With a quick lick to Mika's ear, she gave a volley of low pitched yip-barks, attracting the attention of a still thoughtful Killua, who turned to look first at Artemis, then past her, staring coldly into MIka's (blue right?) eyes.
