Dear ◄Head Shot► members, The roleplay will take place here. We beg you mention your character's name, location and mentioning of other characters before every post to avoid confusion and facilitate the following of separated plot lines. Example: Piper Ederwin ~ Location: City Center ~ Mentioned: Scarlett Deever We also suggest you pay attention to the updates. The areas where Danger Events are about to take place will be marked with a skull next to their name before it happens. Thank you and have fun! Sign Up Thread OOC Thread Updates: ~ Dean Ederwin, Piper Ederwin, William Grey & Theodore Weaver have drawn a herd out of Noxton City. Zombies might be soon crowding the Highway, keep an eye out! Current Season: Summer Current Locations Available The City Noxton City. Though it took a couple of days for people here to even believe that the outbreak was actually happen everyone surely wanted to be the first to flee when zombies started appearing. Of course, not many of them made it out as the main route out of the city got absolutely stuck in a traffic jam the city had never seen before. Even if it is pretty filled with infected, some streets are clear enough and in such a big place there must surely be a lot of stuff worth scavenging for. ![]() This highway can take you many, many miles away from Noxton. It is through here that the lucky ones to get out of Noxton on time went driving, trying to find greener pastures. Ironic, seeing as how the Highway crosses for the majority of its length through the rural areas of the state. ![]() Large open fields, ponds and valleys. They surround the highway. Sprawled over, sometimes two or three miles apart from each other stand different farms. Many home to the infected, someones completely destroyed by scavengers, others healthy and offering good shelter for the night. In the rural areas we can also find the woods and some small towns. ![]() They are dispersed through the rural areas and not completely connected meaning we have small, medium and large sections. There are several creeks and streams, some of which might produce flash floods in the wet season and other which might dry during the summer, making it difficult to obtain water. Here you can find different game: squirrels, hares, deer and of course, zombies. ![]() This town is located in the rural area, approximately 300 hundred miles away from Noxton City. It is abandoned and there are some zombies around, or maybe many and you just haven't noticed. There is a pharmacy, a gas station and a general goods store. But are there any supplies left? ![]() Character SheetsNo thread generated. Jacob Blake | 12 | Location: Town in Rural Area - Near the outside of the school| Mentions: Chloe (Indirectly and doesn't know she's there) Jacob sat with his back against a car, his large Doberman- by the name of Mars- sat by his side, ears perked and body tensed. Poor thing. The car he was sitting against was turned on its side, for some random odd reason, probably from all of the rush people had while trying to get out of the city. Being a younger person, he had forgotten to check the inside of the car for walkers, since the people would have most likely died when the car had flipped over. Suddenly the sudden sound of a loud moan reached the boy's ears as the car shook slightly, causing him to immediately stand up with a gasp. His eyes tracing up, he saw the head of one of the ghastly creatures, snapping its nasty jaws at him in an attempt to get him, even though he was rather far from it. He sighed, not wanting to do it, though he knew he had to. Grabbing his hunting knife, the rather tall boy reached forward and stabbed it right in the head, a little bit of blood spattering on his hand, his right hand, the one he had used to knife with. Even though he lived in the country, it had seemed like the walking people had come to him rather early, or at least the infection did. It was a rather sad situation for the young man, considering the things he did and had to witness. Of course, though, who would like to watch their father unable to kill their infected mother, then their undead mother ripping apart their father, then both of their parents trying to kill him, making him forced to kill the both of them. It was a horrific sight. He sighed, looking back when he saw a small group of walkers walking slightly near the wall of the library, apparently having heard something that caused them to go in that direction. But, when he had killed the man in the car, they had heard and were now making their way towards him. "Oh, God" he said in a low voice, backing up slightly, unsure of what to do. What were they going towards? A survivor? Was it possible? Well, he figured so. He knew that, if he made it, definitely a few adults had made it. Right? Since the walkers were rather slowly walking at the time, he turned around, aiming to run away, but he was soon met with a few walking dead and a growl from Mars, the walkers outstretching their gross arms towards him. With a surprised gasp escaping his lips as he almost bumped into them, he turned around and bolted, Mars running with him, running towards the right a bit, the two small groups turning in his direction. He sighed, stopping as he was met with a wall near the library wall- meaning that if anyone was near there, they would be able to see him- and he took out his gun, ready to shoot. As a few came closer, he aimed and pulled the trigger, the bullet going right through the forehead of one of the ghastly creatures, causing the now fully dead body to fall to the ground, and he shot another, his brows furrowed as sweat gathered there, eyes narrowed. (( For the whole, 'meaning that if anyone was near, they would be able to see them-' ~~ HINT HINT, ASSASSINO )) ![]() Edited on 08/01/16 @ 20:18:21 by Christicat15 (#54511) |

Meaghan "Mint" Schäfer ~ Location: Noxton city ~ Mentions: Vasile Cojocaru ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As she walked, Mint's mind wandered a little, winding up at thoughts about her family. Her parents were never there emotionally, they simply gave her whatever they asked for and told her to go away. They had been so focused on Kathrine and Wyett that her, Livvie and Erik had become the outcasted trio of the family. And yet, though they were all emotionally divided, Mint felt that Livvie and Erik were always closer to each other rather than her. As she had entered her teen years, she had simply started spending more and more time alone. And now she was alone, and afraid, and wished she hadn't screwed up so badly. "If I hadn't froze...." Mint whispered to herself. She paused to clear her thoughts and re-focus. Where was she now? Mint didn't know what part of the city she was in, it was unfamiliar to her. And, up ahead, she noted a figure....and a smaller one? "A dog?" she said out loud, confused. At this point, she had assumed any and all life would've become zombie dinner by now. Mint hesitated for a moment, wondering weather or not to approach the person and dog, or to go the other way. Swallowing the anxiety that she felt build up, she slowly started toward the man, clutching her bow tight enough that her knuckles were white. ![]() |

Meaghan "Mint" Schäfer ~ 19 ~ Location: Noxton city ~ Mentions: Vasile Cojocaru ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mint paused when the dog started barking, unsure of weather it would attack or not. It seemed to be sticking by it's master, and she supposed that was a good sign. But it also meant that now that she had been noticed there was no turning back now, she would have to approach them. She couldn't help but be curious as to how this man and his dog had survived all of this. A small slight smile crossed her face as she got closer, looking curiously at the pair. The dog reminded her of hers, before he had become zombie dinner. That was the first thing she had seen upon going home after work, was her dog being ripped apart. She suddenly stopped about a meter from the man, and realized she had no idea what to say. "I-I used to have a dog like yours too." The words came out quietly, nervous, as she was unsure of weather she could trust them or not. Clearing her throat, she spoke again, this time a bit stronger. "My name is Meaghan, but everyone calls....called....me Mint. Who are you, and how did you, and your dog, survive this mess?" She forced herself to relax her grip on the bow, trying to show she wasn't a threat, but ready in case of anything that could happen. ![]() |

Meaghan "Mint" Schäfer ~ 19 ~ Location: Noxton city ~ Mentions: Vasile Cojocaru ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mint nodded slightly, glancing down at the dog that sniffed at her, before stuffing the arrow back in the back where the other 11 stuck out, and slinging the bow back over her shoulder to where it rested perfectly over her bag. She felt they would bring her no harm, but even so, she was nervous about trusting him. "You picked good timing to come outside. Most of the zombies seem to have moved toward the highway, away from the city. There's a town far out. I was going to go there but figured I would come back and see if there were any supplies first. I suppose it wouldn't be worth asking, but have you seen anyone else alive? I know there isn't much of a chance, but one of my sister's was in the city at the time the out break got bad." There was a tiny bit of hope that her sister, Livvie, could be alive, or even a co worker. But Mint couldn't be sure. Erik was the last one she had run into that was still among the living, aside from Vasile, and she knew the chances were slim. She didn't want to give up though, didn't want to sit and lose hope when there was a chance someone else she knew - and trusted- was hiding out. There was another moment of hesitation before she spoke again. "Where are you going to go? And do you plan on going alone? Not that I'm asking to go with you!!" She added hurriedly. Mint wouldn't admit it, but as much as she preferred being distanced from people, she was afraid and alone. ![]() |

Meaghan "Mint" Schäfer ~ 19 ~ Location: Noxton city ~ Mentions: Vasile Cojocaru ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mint let out a sigh, her face visibly saddening for a moment as the thought of her sister being once of these awful things crossed her mind. Brushing away the thought, she focused on the man in front of her, and the present situation. "That's true. Suppose it's really only a matter of picking your companions - the dead, or the possibly deadly." she couldn't help a snort of amusement at that. Why it seemed funny to her, she didn't know. Call it dark humor, if you will. "Romania though. That's pretty damn far from this shitty place." Mint paused for a moment, thinking over things for a moment, and glancing around to make sure there was no zombies around. "Just surviving through it doesn't seem like a very sound plan though, considering you aren't from here. How well could you possibly know this place?" She couldn't help but boldly question him, a slightly cold look resting on her face. It took her a moment to process that he had mentioned someone else. "Wait, what happened to your manager? Wait. S-shit. No, I'm sorry." Stumbling over her words, she quickly realized that his manager was probably one of the dead, and now was worried she would offend him or hurt his feelings. Ah, the problem of speaking before thinking. ![]() |

Chloe Butler | 11 | Location: Town in Rural Area - Near the outside of the school Bang. She jerked her head up instinctively at the familiar sound of gunshots that feebly masked the tiresome groans coming from the lumbering walkers. With her gaze darting around, she could faintly make out the figure of a boy through the cover of the bushes. Bang, bang. the sound of the fired shots would ring in her ears as she felt her heart pound against her chest cavity. She was afraid, but being afraid wasn't an option if she were to escape the arms of those things. The hoard of the sick seemed to grow in numbers as they appeared to be allured by the sound of the fired bullets, and at this point of vulnerability, Miko began to nuzzle her way into Chloe's arms with her tail between her legs in fear. "It's okay girl, it's okay..." she uttered quietly in reassurance, although she herself was unsure of how to feel. Those monsters were coming closer, and sitting here waiting for the boy's bullets to blow wouldn't be the safest idea, so an alternative plan was in order. Holding a hand to her chest, she would take a few deep breaths to try and steady her racing heart, whilst her other hand shakily grasped Miko's collar. I can't do this, I can't, I can't, she thought to herself as she struggled to firmly hold the collar, But I can't do it if I don't try! another bubble of motivation popped into mind. Reluctantly, the young girl quickly stepped out of her hiding from the bushes, taking one last deep breath before darting-off whilst dragging Miko alongside her. She would run a few meters across the road to get away from the boy before reaching another car parked along the side of the road, its driver's window smashed completely. "H... HEY STUPID-HEADS!" she would shout upon approach. She would then reach into the driver's seat, slamming the steering wheel with her palm and causing the horn to shriek. BEEEP. BEEP. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. A few of the disgruntled walkers that were slowly drawing closer to the boy would awkwardly jerk their head towards the blaring horn, before gradually making their way towards the old car with their infamous gait. Chloe couldn't tell how many monsters she had attracted towards the annoying noise, but hopefully she had given the boy a bit more time. "Oh no... No, no..." she realised the downside to her superior plan. The lingering walkers surrounding the area had heard the noise as well. From afar, the scattered, but thankfully small numbers of the sickened had decided to gather towards the vehicle; what had she done? (-Points finger towards self- Wha-huh? Me? Dean Ederwin ~ Male ~ 27 ~ Location: Highway ~ Mentions: Piper Ederwin, William Grey, Theodore Weaver Dean wasn't liking this one bit. After watching the unknown man shift, turn and whine on the floor he had all the red flags pointing to only one plausible resolution: this guy wasn't okay, like, mentally okay. This, in Dean's eyes, made him unstable and although he didn't have anything against him the part he wasn't liking was that of watching his baby sister act so incautiously around him, remaining relatively close to him and not showing any sign that she was a threat. He also knew Piper and if she was doing that it was because she believed that to be the most effective approach and no matter what he tried or said, there would be no stopping her. Stubborn little trouble-maker. He muttered in his head, remembering the nickname she had for her as a kid which was very ironic, the trouble-maker out of the two had always been him. Deciding to let her handle the situation, and pretty sure he was making the stranger even more unnerved, he turned and locked his gaze on William's as he started to slowly walk, he got inside the car "Don't be all worries, Wiley. The worst they can do is eat us alive." He said and smiled, very jokingly but clearly wanting to disturb him a little bit. Piper Ederwin ~ Female ~ 23 ~ Location: Highway ~ Mentions: Dean Ederwin, William Grey, Theodore Weaver She shifted her eyes for a second to look at her brother when he returned to the car and then looked back at Theodore. She had been careful not to react to his first whines, she didn't want to do anything to make him feel vulnerable and therefore, more prone to acting on instinct. Piper knew that reasoning with him wouldn't be easy but, honestly, was there anything that was truly easy anymore? She quickly answered herself no in her mind. She then saw how he moved his head and the look in his grey eyes when he saw the herd of geeks that was slowly but steadily gaining ground on them. Still, what had worried her was the wince and the pained expression he involuntarily produced when turning on his side. "Are you hurt? Or is it your head that hurts?" She asked, making it sound as though she was just guessing but truly she remembered Old Larry's head used to really hurt whenever he had undergone one of his anxiety or nervousness episodes. Still, given the circumstances, this guy could have very possibly been hurt physically too s she had to ask. Then, a little worked up, the brown-haired man asked to get his shovel back. She once again kept her tone calm and even and didn't back away from him when he got up from the ground, "You need to understand we can't return your shovel back to you yet. We don't know you and it would be dangerous for us" She explained, calmly, "It will be right there on the backseat next to me though, if anything goes wrong I'll give it to you, okay?" She added, hoping he would agree and get back in the truck. She, like William, wasn't comfortable with the geeks behind her either. ![]() |

The huge man hunkered close to the floor, gripping his furred companion by the dark bandana at her neck, he had to fight to maintain his balance whilst making his gargantuan frame as small as possible – he could hear his breathing, it sounded so loud in his mind; and he was sure those walkers would pounce. He ran a hand down her back to keep her calm and from growling – he could see her hackles raised from the corner of his whiskey-coloured eyes, and he prayed she wouldn’t let out any sound. He waited for the corpse to pass before straightening up his immense six and a half foot frame. He stretched and scratched Amora between her ears, her mismatched eyes – blue and brown – reminding him of his only goal; Micaela. He rolled his huge shoulders and patted his thigh so that the canine would follow before he went to check the snares; sometimes she trotted in front of him, other times she would venture into the undergrowth. He began checking all his traps; most of the small snares were empty – but one of his larger ones had caught a deer. It was small, but it would feed him and his companion well enough. It must’ve only been a juvenile but he’d take whatever he could get. "talks like this" word count || 956 ![]() |

William Gray ~ Male ~ 24 ~ Location: Highway ~ Mentions: Dean Ederwin, Piper Ederwin, Theodore Weaver William could read the uneasiness on Dean quite easily as he watched Piper and the brown haired man and he could understand why. He was sick. Not in the new, horrifying, way, but mentally. Impulsive it seemed too. That could become a problem. Though as Dean turned to look at him he brushed those thoughts off and met his gaze, subconsciously swiping his tongue over his bottom lip. When Dean got into the car and made his comment, William's blue eyes widened. "That's exactly what I'm worried about!" He responded laughing a bit. He had made himself speak in a slightly shrill, Umbridge-esque voice, hoping Dean might pick up on the reference. If he didn't they were going to have to raid a bookstore. No matter what was happening, even if they were in the midst of the freaking apocalypse, there was always time for fine literature. William leaned his head on his window once more but this time kept his eyes on Dean. He was hoping that the other man didn't pick up on his blatant staring. If he did William would just pass it off as he was studying him, which in a way he was. He let his blue eyes lazily look over any detail they could find. The way his throat curved just so into the hollow of his throat and his collarbone. The freckles that dotted the bridge of his nose and cheeks. This was William's way of getting to know people, figuring out how to read them. He just needed the time to watch them. Of course, that wasn't the only reason he was watching him. Was it really his fault that he got stuck with an attractive man though? ![]() |

Adrian Reagan ~ Male ~ 23 ~ Location: Rural Area ~ Mentions: Faustino Kanze He walked, his shoulders so very accustomed to the weight of his large backpack. His legs easily lifting the heavy combat books that wrapped his feet. He had his rifle in his hands, holding it like he already had so many times and in the deserted solitude of the field he was walking, his mind started remembering the horrors he had seen in his times of service. He imagined the grass splattered with red, bodies that lay lifeless on the ground framed by it. He remembered how it had felt the first time and compared it to how now it resulted a familiar view. He was no longer affected by it. It was sad, yes; he wished things were different but he also accepted things how they were. And now the whole world was a war zone. He had wanted to help and he had done so. Every single drop of effort put into trying to stop this. Stopping the dead from rising as stupid as it sound he had tried and he had failed and he had lost everyone he cared about trying. A pair of big amber, sunglowing eyes came to his mind, framed by long and curved brown eyelashes. He remembered her giggle. His sweet little sister, it slowly destroyed him not knowing how or where she was. And he couldn't know, his family had been at the other side of the country when he was sent to try and protect this city. He knew the chances of finding her were simply too little. He was going to try anyways, but he also knew his little Thirteen would have wanted him to try and help others in the meantime. The air suddenly felt warmer, and his nose caught the smell of something he identified as meat. He raised his light brown eyes and saw a barn some meters away from him, zekes didn't cook. He knew that inside there was a human, a living human and so he approached cautiously. He stopped in front of the barn's door and raising his large hand he hit the door three times, alerting whoever was inside of his presence. He did have his rifle at the ready, there was no knowing if the person inside was someone who greeted strangers kindly. Now again, the fact he was still in his military uniform usually gave people some kind of safety, made them trust him with more ease. ![]() |

The huge, bear-like man tossed some of the raw meat to the canine – bits he himself wouldn’t eat, like the organs and poorer quality cuts; tossing her a bone or two to keep her quiet and occupied as the afternoon wore on. He was still hunkered down on the saddle rack, waiting for the meat to cook. He scrubbed his face with a hand; running it though his knotted brunette hair – pulling it into a bun and huffing. He jolted and grabbed his revolver at the sharp rapping on the door – once, twice, thrice. His head hammered as he drew it and advanced towards the door after releasing Adora from the stall; her fur raised and her lips pulled back in a growl. Walkers didn’t knock; they would scratch and shove, but never knock. He advanced on the door, opening it and swinging it open – pointing the magnum at the man standing there as he held Adora back with his left hand. He looked down at the smaller man – dark gold eyes narrowing as he tried to survey the threat. He backed away from the door as it swung inwards, beckoning his head as a silent invitation for the man to enter – reassured by the presence of a military uniform, he chose to trust this man; whether that was a smart move or not was yet to be determined.
