Dear ◄Head Shot► members, The roleplay will take place here. We beg you mention your character's name, location and mentioning of other characters before every post to avoid confusion and facilitate the following of separated plot lines. Example: Piper Ederwin ~ Location: City Center ~ Mentioned: Scarlett Deever We also suggest you pay attention to the updates. The areas where Danger Events are about to take place will be marked with a skull next to their name before it happens. Thank you and have fun! Sign Up Thread OOC Thread Updates: ~ Dean Ederwin, Piper Ederwin, William Grey & Theodore Weaver have drawn a herd out of Noxton City. Zombies might be soon crowding the Highway, keep an eye out! Current Season: Summer Current Locations Available The City Noxton City. Though it took a couple of days for people here to even believe that the outbreak was actually happen everyone surely wanted to be the first to flee when zombies started appearing. Of course, not many of them made it out as the main route out of the city got absolutely stuck in a traffic jam the city had never seen before. Even if it is pretty filled with infected, some streets are clear enough and in such a big place there must surely be a lot of stuff worth scavenging for. ![]() This highway can take you many, many miles away from Noxton. It is through here that the lucky ones to get out of Noxton on time went driving, trying to find greener pastures. Ironic, seeing as how the Highway crosses for the majority of its length through the rural areas of the state. ![]() Large open fields, ponds and valleys. They surround the highway. Sprawled over, sometimes two or three miles apart from each other stand different farms. Many home to the infected, someones completely destroyed by scavengers, others healthy and offering good shelter for the night. In the rural areas we can also find the woods and some small towns. ![]() They are dispersed through the rural areas and not completely connected meaning we have small, medium and large sections. There are several creeks and streams, some of which might produce flash floods in the wet season and other which might dry during the summer, making it difficult to obtain water. Here you can find different game: squirrels, hares, deer and of course, zombies. ![]() This town is located in the rural area, approximately 300 hundred miles away from Noxton City. It is abandoned and there are some zombies around, or maybe many and you just haven't noticed. There is a pharmacy, a gas station and a general goods store. But are there any supplies left? ![]() Character SheetsNo thread generated. The original poster of this RP thread will be able to generate one for this feature.![]() Edited on 08/01/16 @ 07:58:06 by Rocheneux (#43822) |

((Really need to get my character interacting with people she was stuck back on page 2)) Charlie Fuentes - Female - 21 - Location; Noxton - Mentions; Vasile&Mint (indirectly)/Open Charlie found nothing, nor anyone yet in the city. She continued to walk around. She came across two beings near each other, and a dog? She wasn't sure. She slowly began walking towards them. She began noticing backpacks on them. "They gotta be humans right?" She thought, "Why would zombies wear backpacks?" She looked up to see her hawk, she quickly took out a screen and remote to get a better view. The hawk flew over the 2 and Charlie zoomed in. "Two people and a dog." She sighed as she put the screen back in her bag. "But do I go towards them? Or other way?" She asked herself. She stood up and looked over at them. ![]() |

Jacob Blake | 12 | Location: Town in Rural Area - Near the outside of the school| Mentions: Chloe (Indirectly) Jacob groaned, realizing he had mistakenly used the gun that didn't have a silencer, but it was too late now, the small group was making his way towards him. The boy took another step back, a knife in one hand and a gun in the other, ready to fight until he dropped. He was done for, at least that was what was rushing through his mind at the time. Then the sound of someone, presumably a girl, yelling something along the lines of, 'hey stupidheads', followed with a noise. BEEEEP. BEEP. BEEEEEEEEP. The head of the boy immediately looked in the direction of where the horn had come from. As he had presumed, a girl was in a car, slamming her hands down on the steering wheel, which had caused the horn to blare. Now why did she do that? He thought with confusion. Looking back in front of him, he watched the heads of the monsters awkwardly turn their heads towards the car before heading in her direction. Unfortunately for her, the luckily small group of scattered walkers were heading towards her, but it was now a smallish herd, all heading for, and surrounding, the car the female was in. She helped him. Saved him. He had to do the same. At that, he stealthily followed, as to make sure they didn't turn and attack him- even though it would save her- and, once he was close enough, he took out his gun, the one with the silencer on it, and began shooting as many ghouls as he could in the head, watching as they fell to the ground limp. Even though they didn't hear the bullets, they heard the sound of bodies dropping- though not all- and about half of the small herd turned towards him, but he just kept shooting. After killing over half of the small herd, there were about five walkers left, and he was out of bullets. By now, he had moved closer and, at the sound of the bodies dropping and silenced gun, the rest of them had turned towards him in a rather awkward way, their arms outstretched as they walked in his direction. Putting his gun down, he took out his hunting knives- two very advanced and sharp ones- and began stabbing them in the head, which he was going to do until there were none left. Cassandra De Barros | 23 | Location: Rural Area (by Highway)| Mentions: Alastair (indirectly), Paige,Open for approach Cassandra watched the scene unfold. The woman had pointed a gun at the man, then put out all her supplies and... and took out a police uniform...? Why did she even do that? Didn't make sense, it wasn't like it was going to give her anymore trust from the man than she had already. She sighed, shrugging her shoulders slightly, waiting for more to happen. What she was really waiting for was the voice. The voice of the man, so she could find out for sure if it was her friend or not. If it was Alastair or not. Then he spoke and, although it was a simple 'who are you', she could clearly understand it. At the sound of it, her jaw dropped slightly, her eyes widening only a bit, as she realized she had found her childhood friend, her best friend. She stood up, ignoring the voice of the woman as she spoke, though she was able to catch the name 'Paige', but that was all. Athena flew up a bit higher, letting out a shrill, yet rather quiet shriek, meaning the hawk had probably recognized his voice as well. Cassie took a few steps forward towards them, getting closer to the two, since they hadn't seen her before, her gaze looking over at Alastair, who was fairly far from her, her hand still clenched on the bow, so tight that her usually tan knuckles and hands began to fade to a white. "Alastair?" she asked from afar, wanting to for surely make sure it was him, her brownish/bluish eyes looking forwards and up at him, since she was rather far from him, though her Brazilian Portuguese accent was rather distinct and, if it was him, he'd surely remember it. (( Argh, this was so bad. Both of them )) ![]() Edited on 13/01/16 @ 17:36:38 by Christicat15 (#54511) |

((@Christi; Oh, whoops, my bad. XD ...Maybe he scavenged another gun earlier and it was the first one he could grab?)) Chloe Butler | 11 | Location: Town | Mentions: Jacob (indirectly) Her wide eyes were locked onto the boy as he fought off the remaining walkers that were mindlessly gathering towards the small mass of falling bodies. Her breaths were ragged and shaky as the reality of the risk she took sunk in; she could have been killed by them. She observed his actions, watching him take out each individual monster as she cowered behind the run-down car. He seemed to have speed as his upper-hand. Five. Four. Three. Two... the decaying bodies fell to the ground, as a reflective blade was jerked out of their distorted heads. Miko's ears were pinned to her head as she nervously nuzzled Chloe, accompanied with quiet, pitiful whines and daring not to leave her side. To steady her pacing heart, she would try to take more deep breaths, but it only made the sickening sound of a crushing skull against a mushy decaying brain even more prominent. She was by herself, feeling disgusted and afraid. Where would she go after the boy took care of those monsters? ![]() |

Jacob Blake | 12 | Location: Town in Rural Area - Near the outside of the school| Mentions: Chloe (Indirectly) Finally, Jacob yanked the sharp knife out of the forehead of the last monster, watching it fall to the ground. Ironic for him, he had only gotten the nasty blood on the hand he had used to stab, but not anywhere else, oddly. He sighed, panting, his Doberman standing beside him, unable to help considering... well he couldn't really do anything to help against the beasts, except warn him. Suddenly Mars nuzzled him in a worried manner, letting out a soft bark, warning him of something. He looked back behind him, seeing a small amount of walkers coming towards them, though they were fairly far away, though they had heard the gunshots before and were only now arriving. He groaned, "How many are there?" he asked himself, moving forward. He looked at the girl, his face sweaty. "We have to go. Now." he said in a rather stern voice that had a small hint of softness to it, as if worried. Honestly, he didn't know why he wanted to help the girl so badly. Maybe it was because she was a fellow 'child'? Who knew, all he knew was that it felt like the right thing to do. Mars padded up to his side, Jake being by the car at the moment, and let out a small whimper to the greyhound that was with the girl, as if warning her as well. Jake sighed, looking back behind him again as the monsters got closer, though still far enough that the two young humans were fully capable and able to get away without them catching up. He moved forward slightly, the Doberman doing the same, the black paws of the large dog 'shuffling' slightly the ground in a nervous way, its large and rather bulky head looking back at the ghouls as they still got closer, yet were still far enough away to give the children a chance. ![]() Edited on 09/01/16 @ 15:28:13 by Christicat15 (#54511) |

|| Tabitha Grace Archer || 17 || Location: Highway || Mentions: Dean & Company(indirectly) /Open || Tab ran through the trees, carefully keeping the highway within sight as she crashed through the foliage. She'd almost gotten to the highway about 20 minutes ago, but had heard the moans of a few hundred walkers and bolted in the other direction. A short scream left her as her foot caught on a hidden root and she crashed to the ground. " Shit," she hissed, spitting dirt out of her mouth before Gryphon's tongue appeared and soaked half of her face in one swipe. "Gryphon!" she hissed, pushing the dog's face away and pushing herself up, only to crumble back to the ground the second she tried to put weight on her ankle. "Are you serious?" Tab shouted at no-one, getting up once again and grabbing onto a tree. Tab sighed, limping forward slowly by grabbing trees. Gryphon walked beside her slowly, a low whine emitting from him. She was making slow progress but eventually made it to the highway, looking around and spotting a truck with multiple people nearby. "Oh, thank Loki," she breathed, limping towards them. ![]() |

Zakharia Jeylls ~ Male ~ 25 ~ Location: Alongside the Highway ~ Mentions: Zena Xao He cleaned his knife against the roamer's already dirty clothes before taking a good look at its decaying face that would no longer growl or gnarl anymore. "My, you were an ugly one my friend" He spoke, only himself to listen given the solitude of the place. He was some meters away from the highway, covered by the line of trees that indicated the beginning of the woods that lined the road. He felt his stomach heavy with that feeling of emptiness that hunger provoked, he had last eaten two days ago and hadn't found anyplace, nor anyone, to ransack. He did have his canned food stored in his backpack but he strongly refused to deplete his emergency resources just now. He had coped with this event of extinction quite well, or maybe not and his deceitful nature had also fooled him and made him believe he was alright with all of this. Anyways, he knew that even if he hadn't gotten used to it, there was no way he was turning into one of those ugly and filthy, flesh-eating lamebrains. Zack had obtained most of his resources from stealing others. Had he killed? No but he was willing to do so, at least in most cases. It was then that his acute ears, he thanked whatever thing was up there for his keen sense of hearing, caught some sort of melody in the air. No groans, no moans. It was a song being sung and he was very damn sure about it. He quickly slithered his silenced gun out of its special holster and cautiously walked forth, aiming at the human who was coming his way. It was a girl. An asian girl, to be more precise. He immediately noticed she was bare footed but didn't give it much thought. "Drop everything you are carrying, now" He commanded. His voice was low but very smooth, it was both pleasant and intimidating and the only word that somewhat described it was smoky. The girl was really in a bad physical state, she seemed confused and out of her senses as well as extremely tired and weak. Though he did not cringe he didn't like imagining how her feet hurt from walking barefooted all the way out here. Maybe someone had already stolen her supplies, then he wasn't in a lucky day... Adrian Reagan ~ Male ~ 23 ~ Location: Rural Area ~ Mentions: Faustino Kanze His muscles were tense and his breath sharp in his throat as he listened movement inside the barn, quickly pinpointing the location of whoever was inside. His light brown eyes widened from their usually drooped, relaxed position when he was greeted by a man he could only describe as titanic in size, and god had Adrian seen some big men during his times. Given his rather fierce appearance Adrian had initially expected the stranger to be more...aggressive maybe but this assumption was proved wrong when he invited him inside. He quickly shifted his rifle's aim away from the man and accepted the invitation, walking inside the barn. He couldn't really describe the feeling but he had immediately felt more comfortable around the gigantic human specimen than he had with other survivors, as though he was more trustworthy. He then looked at the dog that was also inside the barn and who clearly didn't like his presence. Adrian proceeded to walk towards one side of the fire, not making any sudden movements that could provoke the animal. He remained silent as his light brown eyes inspected the meat being cooked. He was hungry but he didn't show it and was perfectly capable of ignoring it, the apocalypse hadn't been the first time he felt hunger. His mind was trained. But luckily for him, today he wouldn't have to resort to his self-control. He heard the XXL man also inviting him to eat his food before tossing him a sharpened stick he skillfully caught mid air, "Thank you very much" He thanked, noticing the man's heavy accent but not commenting on it yet. Adrian proceeded to open his backpack, from it he grabbed a large water bottle and placed it in the middle between him and the man, silently conveying he was sharing his resources too. If there was one thing he hated was receiving without giving anything in exchange and this would not be the case. He sat back down and pierced a piece of meat with the stick. He only waited for it to cool down enough as to be eaten without burning his mouth that much and silently consumed the meat. After listening to the man introduce himself, he did the same "I'm Adrian Reagan, special forces Sergeant" He said. His gaze was diverted to the dog when its owner spoke about her, "Can't blame her" He said and grabbed a clean, empty can from his backpack before filling it with water and offering it to the canine, she must have been thirsty too. ![]() |

Meaghan "Mint" Schäfer ~ 19 ~ Location: Noxton city ~ Mentions: Vasile Cojocaru and Charlie Furntes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I'm so sorry. If it makes you feel any better, I know what it's like to lose someone close." Mint said. She knew it likely wouldn't be any emotional help to him, but she didn't know what else to say about it, feeling bad she had even brought it up, having noticed that the way he spoke made it clear he didn't wish to speak of it. She also noticed when he seemed to catch sight of something else, and noted him unsheathe his knife. Her eyes followed toward where he looked, and she frowned at the figure. "Another person? Alive in this? Well. Let's hope they aren't out for blood or supplies. That said, if they were, I wouldn't be much use to them. You, however, could have something to worry about if so." Mint commented. Sliding her bow off her back and taking a hold of an arrow, she paused, weighing the decisions. Confront the person? Run and hide? Ignore it? Shoot at them? Slight anxiety bubbled up and she took a couple deep breaths to try and calm herself. "Don't fuck it up this time Mint." she mumbled quietly to herself. Thinking for another moment, she took another deep breath and started toward the person, glancing back at Vasile. "May as well find out what they want, no?" ![]() |

Zena ~ Female ~ 22 ~ Location: Highway ~ Mentions: Zakharia Jeylls Zena as she walked as changed her song to Jolene by Ray Lamontange. Her unstable gait showed the pain she was in. "Cocaine flame in my bloodstream. Sold my coat when I hit Spokaine. Bought myself a hard pack of cigarettes in the early morning rain" She folded her arms which were engulfed in her knitted red sweater which came down to her mid thighs. {Man my feet are killing me.} Zena continued to sing her song and walk. She moved her hands up to her hair and undid her bun, letting it all tumble down in waves. She only left it there for a moment though before sweeping it back up into another bun. She had been trying to fix the loose strands but that only ended with an agitated sigh and more unruly strands. Zena went to think about the next line of the song but never got to it as before she could even think of the first word there was a new voice interrupting. An intimidating male voice. Zena jumped and whipped her head up, looking for the source. A heavily tattooed man was standing right in front of her. A heavily tattooed man with almost a foot of height on her and pointing a gun at her. As she looked up the bags under her eyes seemed more prominent. A look of panic seeped into her eyes. "No. I. I have to keep walking. " Just from standing still she was already starting to dangerously sway, her eyes fighting her will to keep them open. It was becoming obvious that she was relying on her pain to keep her awake, but also that her breathing was labored. She was tired and asthmatic. With shaking hands she pulled her bag around her shoulders and reached in to grab one of her inhalers, taking a pump from it. "I need to keep walking" She said with a bit more confidence, even with the gun at her chest. He could shoot her if he'd like. At least she wouldn't become a monster. She sidestepped him and went to continue walking as soon as the world surged. Everything was going black and she would sooner learn that it was because they had closed. She continued to fall until she hit the ground, a crunching sound showing that she possessed some water bottles. Lucky for her the soft grass cushioned her head. As she was now off of them it was easy to see that her feet were blistered and in some places starting to bleed. ![]() Edited on 09/01/16 @ 16:56:38 by CrystalSacrifice (#6293) |

Zakharia Jeylls ~ Male ~ 25 ~ Location: Highway ~ Mentions: Zena Xao He was a little bit disconcerted by the girl's reaction to his threat, only slightly taken aback by her completely ignoring the firearm that was very dangerously aimed at her. She clearly wasn't in a state in which she could make conscious, healthy decisions. He took it it was extreme fatigue, her brain was simply too tired to reason any longer. He noticed she had a hard time breathing which caught his attention but his curiosity was satisfied when he saw her produce an inhaler from her bag. He kept close watch on her as she simply continued walking as though that would magically take her somewhere safe or revert everything that had happened. For a second he seriously considered shooting her. His grey eyes, the same color as the clouds that were starting to gather in the sky as the night began to fall, analysed the gun in his hand as he considered the option. They then glided towards the little frame of the asian girl, only to see her fall to the ground, unconscious. Zakharia might have lunged forward to stop her fall if he had seen it on time, but she was already in the ground so he simply walked over to her and knelt beside her. For some seconds he scrutinized her face, just like he had done earlier with the roamer he killed. She seemed so innocent and defenseless in her unconscious state. Zack shook his head, extending his long arm to grab her drawstring bag and checked what was inside it. It certainly wasn't much but everything was useful nowadays. He also took all of her throwing knives before standing back up and giving her another good look. She really was a mess. He shook his head once more and turned around, willing himself to leave her there. Quickly something about it started nagging him and it was quickly getting on his nerves. He stopped, fists clenched and lower lip bitten forcefully. Zack turned, looking at the girl. He quickly walked towards her and returned one of the throwing knives to its place and placed her two inhalers next to her. He stood up once more, and looked at her. Don't look at her, leave He said to himself, his fists still clenching and unclenching as he tried to make a decision. Just leave He repeated to himself. Still, he soon found himself easily lifting her up bridal-style and then positioning her over his large shoulder, as though she was a sack of some kind. He couldn't bring himself to leave her there so freaking defenseless and he was so very pissed off at himself for being unable to do it. He remembered a shack he had stayed at in the woods not too far from whee they were and headed there, not before muttering a low, "Fuck me...". After about half an hour of walking with the dormant girl as extra luggage he arrived at the shack and entered. He not so elegantly dropped her at the bed in the inside and grabbing the paracord from his backpack tied her hands to the bed's posts. He would have tied her ankles but he just couldn't do it given the state of her feet. Zack also took out some alcohol from his backpack and used it to clean her worn out feet, asleep she wouldn't feel the sting and wouldn't move so he was over with it quite quickly. He then proceeded to barricade the door and removing once more the knife from the girl before sitting on a comfortable chair three meters away from the bed. ![]() |

Zena ~ Female ~ 22 ~ Location: (Honestly not quite sure. Rural area I think) ~ Mentions: Zakharia Jellys Zena was peaceful throughout most if not all of this ordeal. The only time she resisted was when he cleaned her feet. She had slightly jerked away at that. She lay there resting for a good ten extra minutes after that, her breath the only sign she was still alive. Well that and the fact that every now and then she would make a face. A slightly conflicted and pained face, but it would always vanish as soon as it came. She ended up curled up slightly, her breath only slightly wheezy but that happened when she slept. Her bun had fallen loose at some time, causihg more strands of her hair to break free. Zena woke slowly at first, confusion filling her expression. She went to move her hands and when she found them tied, tensed. Slowly she moved her legs and seeing they weren't tied she scrambled until she was able to sit up, crossing her legs in a cross cross formation on the bed. Her hands were obviously pulled to the side. Once she had adjusted herself she looked around the room and it didn't take her long to see the tattooed man, causing her whole body to go taught. She recognized her throwing knives beside him and her eyes narrowed at the man. "What?" Zena snapped, already uncomfortable in the way he was watching her like an animal. ![]() |

Zakharia Jeylls ~ Male ~ 25 ~ Location: Shack, in the Woods ~ Mentions: Zena Xao He had kept on looking at her after seating on the chair. His elbows rested on the arms of the chair as he softly touched his lower lip and chin with his left hand. It was a habit of his to do that whenever he was deep in though and right now he indeed was deep in though...trying to decide what the hell he would do once the girl woke up and also cursing himself a little bit more for not having left her right where he found her. He thought he would have had a little bit more time to do his thinking but around ten minutes later he noticed the girl started to shift, sleep abandoning her features. For the state she had been in he had expected her to sleep for some long hours but well, he had been wrong and she was awake much earlier than expected. He didn't move his grey eyes away from her, not really caring if he was making her uncomfortable, as she shifted position and sat in the bed, her tied arms to her sides. He was then met by her very confused and clearly nervous mahogany eyes, then a question flowed out of her mouth. "I was expecting a "Hi" but well, I guess I'll just have to do with that" He said, not answering her question maybe because he himself didn't knew what she was doing here instead of being waking up in the exact same spot where she had fallen asleep in the first place. He then gave it a little bit more thought and realized he was...kidnapping her? I mean, he indeed was holding her against her will... ![]() |

Zena Xao ~ Female ~ 22 ~ Location: Shack in the Forest ~ Mentions: Zakharia Jellys ~ Open for Approach?: No. She's a bit tied up right now. (BU DUM TSHH) Zena tilted her head slightly at him. "Hi?" Her voice was slow, hesitant. "Now. Um. Could you...untie me? I mean. I won't run. I just well. This is rather uncomfortable and I actually dislike it quite a bit" Zena kept herself calm. She told herself that she was in no danger. If this man had wanted to kill her he would have done it. Either that or left her on her own. That would have been enough. Her nap, short as it might have been, had obviously done her wonders. Despite that she did let out a yawn as small as her. It sounded almost like a cats in comparison. As she yawned she turned her face against her shoulder so that she wouldn't be yawning directly at him. No matter the circumstances she found that to be rude. After a few more minutes she spoke up again, this time less hesitant and a bit amused. "I um. Did you kidnap me?" She looked at him as if he were ludicrous, but then let out a breathy, slightly nervous, laugh. "Sorry. Right that's not funny. Just um. I hadn't really imagined the way I'd meet the first non-thing since this whole thing started months back would be because I was kidnapped. I guess an apocalypse kind of pushes that thought out of the mind" Realizing she was rambling she bit the inside of her cheek. She just couldn't help herself. This had been the first living person she'd seen in months. All that time just singing to herself she finally had someone to talk to. She didn't relax comepletely though. She pegged him to not be a threat but if there was any sign her judgment had been misguided she would close back up again. ![]() |

Theodore Weaver|24|Current Location: Highway|Mentions: Dean, Piper, and William Theo cocked his head to the side with eyes narrowing at the girls statement, irritation making his fingers twitch, the motion reminiscent of the muscle memory of gripping the handle of his shovel. They weren't going to give his shovel back, and it even had his name on it. His name, didn't that usually mean ownership? What right did they have to take his personal property anyways? A low growl bubbled up only for it to be cut down by rational thought. They didn't know him and he didn't know them, trust was obviously one of the last things on their minds and would be the last for a long, long time. His shoulders slumped as he heaved a sigh and ignored the previous question aimed his way, "Fine," He muttered, "but you'll keep it in sight right? Not under the seat or anything?" It might seem pathetic and maybe a little desperate to others, but Theo was really attached to that shovel. It happened to have been a gift from his siblings, maybe it was once a gag gift, but now, now it was a life line, a way of life, an unbend-able force of steel and wood. Theo stretched his arms to the side, wincing once more at the tightness pulling at his right side, his ribs ached from his earlier collision with the mans truck (the truck having won). "I'm fine, just a headache. It'll go away, eventually." He said, tacking the last part on as an afterthought. A shiver turned twitch ran through him as the man climbed back into the truck to rejoin the other male, the uneasy look directed at him had Theo running a bandaged hand through his hair. "Do I need to sit in the back? Can I leave the window down?" He asked, the thought of being enclosed in a small space with three strangers, two of which where obviously armed, without his own weapon was kind of off putting. ![]() |
