It was sun-high by the time Lionheart had returned from his patrol with a few other cats. He bid each of them a farewell with a headbutt and nuzzle, before trotting towards the fresh kill pile and retrieving a mouse. He shook out his fur and looked around for some companionship. Spotting Icestar and Seawhisper, a 'mrr' sounded in the back of his throat before he bounded towards the two she-cats.

"Good morning, darlings," he mewed after dropping the mouse, leaving it as he greeted each with a nuzzle, tail in the air as he weaved between the two, rubbing against them affectionately. Once the big fuss of greeting was over, he crouched beside them, beginning to pull at the mouse and batting it between his paws before eating it. "Any news?"

With a tilt of his head, Lionheart chewed on the morsel he'd torn from the mouse - its belly had a rather thick layer of fat - as he listened to Icestar's confession. His ear flicked, glancing over to Seawhipser then back to their leader. "Well, what kind of danger?" he asked once he'd finally swallowed his mouthful, licking his lips. Foxes? Badgers? A storm? An attack from a neighbouring clan? He'd thought about mentioning to Icestar about making an alliance with the bordering clans, so as to keep themselves safe, but it may have been too late for that.
