Boulder stood up and and flicked his tail. "Stoneclaw, please stay. Tell me, what can I do to get your 'blessing'? What can I do to be your sister's mate and you actually respecting the decision? What did I do wrong? What can I change about me that then you'll accept?" He asked the other tom, his left amber eye was burning with determination. "I want to make this work, Stoneclaw, but it won't if you don't like it that way. I don't know if Bumbletail doesn't want me as a mate anymore, she can choose any cat to be her mate, I won't protest if she wants another mate, but I want to be there for Bumbletail and my kits. They're also mine and I want to be a good father, not this coward he abandoned his mate and used her body just for pleasure. No, Stoneclaw, I'm not that kind of tom, I don't use any she-cat's body for pleasure." He muttered and looked at Stoneclaw, a hopeful look in his eyes. "Please, Stoneclaw, tell me... What am I doing wrong?" He sighed and sat down, waiting for the other tom to reply.

Boulder sighed and watched Stoneclaw take Tigerkit away, he blinked affectionately to the kit and they disappeared in camp. He flattened his ears and turned around. "Don't look back..." He meowed painfully then growled to himself. "Mouse brain.." He muttered to himself and clenched his teeth, hating himself. "This is exactly what Stoneclaw means... You always leave..." He muttered to himself and took a long, deep breathe and padded into camp. "You're a coward, Boulder..." He growled to himself and padded into camp, he looked at his paws but then raised his head to see gathered cats around the nursery. He flicked his ear and flinched as he recognized Bumbletail's scent mixed with the other's. He saw Bumbletail's soft fur in the distance and he sighed, stopping. "Foxhearted, tom.." He muttered to himself. "Idiot..." He said to himself and he sat on the camp's entrance, licking his paw and swiped it over his ear and started cleaning his face. He looked at the cats and saw Tigerkit, his adoptive son. He gave him a small smile and Tigerkit started running up to him. Boulder shook his head, Tigerkit making a lot of noise would attract lots of cats to look his way but Tigerkit kept on running to him. Boulder gulped slowly.

"I expect no help from you or my family. I walk by myself in these cold nights."

The tabby kit walked after Stoneclaw, his ears flattening. He said goodbye to Boulder and padded to the group. He grinned at Pebblekit. "I-I'm back. Yay..." He sighed and flicked his ears. He looked back and saw that Boulder was right in the entrance of camp. He grinned and cried out. "Boulder!" He cried out, racing to the other tom, he saw Boulder shake his head but the kit didn't care and ran to him even faster. He probably got everyone's attention but he didn't care. He reached Boulder and rubbed his head against his legs. "I thought you left though!" He said to Boulder and saw that Boulder just grinned nervously to all the cats who watched Tigerkit run up to him.

Boulder sighed and sat down, wrapping his tail around Tigerkit, pulling his companion of the journey closer. He shut his amber eye then opened it again. "I'll tell you what happened, you might not believe it but I promise you all that it is real. Not even I believe it." He muttered and flicked an ear before starting. "When Drake was still here I looked around, bored. I saw Tigerkit sneak out of camp and I decided to follow him. He stopped and looked back to see me but there were fear in his emerald-green eyes. Then I noticed he started running and I was surprised, just looking at Tigerkit who passed me. Then I saw why he was so scared. There were badgers, maybe a whole pack of 'em. They wanted to protect themselves so they started to attack me. I ran to where Tigerkit was and picked him up. We ran, and were close to SnowClan's borders. We hid, but were still in NightClan territory. We thought it was over but before we could even let out a pant the badgers found us and continued to chase us. Everysingle time Tigerkit and I thought we were safe, the badgers ALWAYS found us. They stopped chasing us then since it was only 2 badgers and let us go but we were far, further than SnowClan's territory. We were near mounds of rocks and boulders that kittypets call, mountains. We had no choice but to waste a bunch of time to get back here. That's the story, it sounds unbelievable but it's true." He muttered and rasped his tongue over Tigerkit's tabby, soft head and let out a sigh. He looked at Bumbletail and flattened his ears. "I know some of you might not want me back, I understand, but I'm joining back, I'll show you what loyalty means." He looked at Bumbletail, saying almost all that to her, he turned back around to look at everyone, he felt tension in the air and felt his fur ruffle up with nervousness.

Boulder sighed and shut his left eye, opening it slowly. "I should have just stayed in the mountains. I'm just ruining everything here." He muttered and got up, flicking his tail so Tigerkit could come and follow him. The masculine gray tabby ran after Bumbletail quietly, Tigerkit in front of him so he could see over the kit. He saw Bumbletail stop in the darkness and frowned as he saw her tear stains on the soil. He sat down, right next to her, Tigerkit in between them. "I'm sorry, Bumbletail. You must hate me right now and I don't blame you. I just thought that I could come back and be back magically with everyone accepting me back.... But instead of making everything happy again I ruined your relationship with your brother... I can leave if you'd like, though if you want me gone I have to fix things between you and Stoneclaw... I'll find a way." He muttered and it was hard saying those words. He looked at Tigerkit and saw his confused look, he remembered that the brown tabby tom was still a kit and didn't quiet understand. He sighed and wrapped his tail around Tigerkit, looking at him. "Though, Tigerkit, you'll be staying if they want me gone. You're clan blood and NightClan won't reject a kit." He muttered and rasped his tongue over his head. "We had fun..." He said to Tigerkit then turned his attention back to the tearful Bumbletail which caused him to flinch so instead he unwrapped his tail from Tigerkit and flicked his tail near Bumbletail's stubby tail that he caused, they were brushing slightly. "So, Bumbletail?" He asked his old mate, a knot in his throat.
