He looked at the roots as Stoneclaw spoke, "sounds easy enough.." He said as he reached for the root nearest him and grabbed hold. His teeth tore through the root after a few moments of him trying his hardest to get it down. He spat it out on to the ground and looked at Stoneclaw, "harder than it seems.." He smiled. "I guess I could do some more but, you might have to fix them after.." He purred, not dissapointing at the fact that he couldn't do it very well. He grabbed hold of another in his jaws and ended up moving slightly, almost too much to where he would probably be dangling and giggling. He started to giggle as he moved, he trusted Stoneclaw fully so, he wasn't scared at all when he started to slip even more.

(Sorry short.. and when Pebblekit reaches 8 - 10 moons, he will fall I'll and pass on :c sad but, they all have to move on ;c)

((Yeah. I'm back. Sorry for my inactivity it was just... Well, holidays. There a BIG deal ya know? Well, I'm back now and have Boulder and Tigerkit with me. ^^))

The gray tabby tom raced through unknown territory. He panted heavily and felt his heart burning. His shoulders were aching but he didn't slow down or stop. He leaped over fallen branches and leaves. He continued to dig his claws into the earth, trying to speed up. He tried to run faster but felt himself start slowing down. He shook his head and looked down to see the dark brown tabby kit in his jaws. He didn't let go. He had to get himself and the kit somewhere safe. The kit claimed that his name is Tigerkit. He remembered the name and sped up. He wouldn't let a kit die. Not when he himself was turning into a father. He hurried up. He felt as if the badger was chasing him for centuries. He finally felt himself slowing down. He turned to a corner and leaped into some bushes, he rolled around the mud to hide his scent. He hid the kit under his belly. He saw the badger leave and he sighed. The stupid mouse dung badger had chased him out of the territory. He could tell he was far from home. He sighed. He DIDN'T leave. The badgers chased him out and when he thought he was safe with the kit the badger ALWAYS find him at the end. He sighed and hoped that the badgers wouldn't find him and the kit.

Lionstrike nodded, he couldn't blame Nightfang for not remembering him, if he wasn't close to somebody he tended to not hang around them. His gaze traveled to Sunfang when she padded over and he smiled. They had never ben particularly close when he left, but he had always admired her bravery and kindness. "Morning Sunfang" he purred, trying to be optimistic as he quickly noticed her miffed behavior. He caught her looking in the direction of Stoneclaw, and the kit on his back and curiosity got the better of him. "Who's the little kit over there?" He asked, and he couldn't help but smile; he loved kits.

Sunfang ~ 46 moons ~ Queen ~ She-cat ~ Mentions: Lionstrike (Pebblekit)

She looked towards Lionstrike when he asked who the kit was and she smiled, "That's Pebblekit, the only one to survive out of his litter.." she said, trying not to look sad. She knew Pebblekit probably wanted a cat his age to play with and Tigerkit wasn't here right now.. she had no idea where he had wondered off to.. "He is growing pretty fast for being the smallest of the litter..." she smiled, not really knowing what to say. She had to seen Lionstrike in so long it was hard to figure out what to talk about first. It true, they hadn't been very close.. even as young cats. She usually had talked to the Queens in the nursery about seeing their kits or hanging around Riverwhisker and Silverfang when they were all still here. She remembered how Silverfang would try and make her laugh when she seemed down or concentrated on something. Riverwhisker was the one who she shared the most time with, especially after Silverfang passed. She snapped out of her thoughts, "how are you anyway? I haven't seen you in seasons" she smiled.

Boulder stayed still for a few heart beats before grabbing Tigerkit and slipping away from the bushes and hopefully away from the badgers. He put Tigerkit down and he scanned the area. It was familiar and he was sure he could find NightClan territory but the problem was that NightClan territory was really far from these territories. Boulder sighed and looked down at Tigerkit. "D-Do you think we're gonna get back home?!" Tigerkit asked eagerly. Boulder forced a grin on his face and he licked the tabby kit's head carefully. "Of course we are, pal." Boulder meowed soothingly to the kit. He perked his ears and sighed. Would they REALLY get back home? Would they accept him back? Would Bumbletail accept him back? Boulder sighed and shook the thought away. No. If they don't want me back I will still be there, loyal to NightClan and Bumbletail until I die." He thought and started padding away, he turned his head around and looked at Tigerkit, his left amber eye was glowing happily. "Come on, Tigerkit, the faster we start padding this territory away, the faster we can go back to NightClan." He grinned at the kit. He saw Tigerkit's amber eyes glow with happiness and in a few seconds he started following him. Boulder just padded quickly. He wanted to go back home NOW but patience is a thing he needed the most now. Tigerkit was pretty injured and he was becoming a father. A good father has patience. Boulder kept on repeating that in his head and kept on turning around to check if Tigerkit was following him.

Stoneclaw felt Pebblekit start to slip. "Dig you claws into my back, don't worry about hurting me." He said with a smile. "You can't be as bad a Bumbletail." He said remembering the time he had to help Bumbletail across a small river and she ended up leaving deep claw marks on his back.

He giggled as he almost dangled there and his little back claws dug into Stoneclaw's back. They were too small to make any real scratches, he bit down hard on the root and ended up almost falling. His little front claw dug into Stoneclaw's back as well to steady himself. He spat out the root and smiled down at Stoneclaw, "ok.. but did you see that?? That was fun!" He giggled and purred, his claws sheathing as he basically laid down on Stoneclaw's back. He licked Stoneclaw's head as he laid there, still purring his cute kitten purr. Even though he was seven moons, nothing about him screamed 'Apprentice age' he was still a kit in size and behaviour. "How does that look? How many more roots do we have until we can go explore?" He asked, acting like Stoneclaw was going to explore with him as if they were actually siblings. He continued licking the top of Stoneclaw's head affectionately.

Stoneclaw chuckled "Yes I did that was a good job." He said letting the kit lick him. The only cat he let groom him was Bumbletail and only cause she would end up nagging his ears off if he didn't let her. "How about now a small adventure, then we come back to sleep." He said looking at the den. "We can make us a nest big enough for both of us, since there isn't alot of other cats to share the den with." He said as he began to walk out of the den.

He purred and nodded, "that would be great!" He felt so happy because he said he did a good job. He liked the sound of a nap after an adventure.. it was always tiring in a way. "That sounds great, it would be cozy too!" He smiled and the giggled with a purr as Stoneclaw began to walk out the den with Pebblekit still on his back. "This is fun!" He giggled, "you're the best brother ever" He purred.

Stoneclaw gave a small smile at PebblekitPebblekit's words. He spotted Sunfang. "Sunfang, Im taking Pebblekit to go gather some nesting materials and mabe some prey." He yelled before he walked into the bushes. "Don't fall Pebblekit ok." He said before he began to sprint away from the camp not too far but far enough to were the prey came out. "Here we are Pebblekit, you may get down now." He said with a small shake and chuckle.

He smiled at Stoneclaw and smiled even bigger when his mom nodded, letting him go. He was excited, he nodded when Stoneclaw said for him not fall and he stayed as sturdy on Stoneclaw as he could. He looked around with wide yellow eyes until he was told to get down. He purred and jumped off, looking up at Stoneclaw, he smiled, "that was fun! Wow it looks different out here" He said as his wide yellow eyes looked around once more. He padded a few steps then turned and walked in a different direction a few steps. He looked at everything he could around him, he spotted a little mouse and decided to chase after I and went thundering after it, the little creature scurrying and Pebblekit close behind.

Shadestep beamed at Lynks pressing against him before he put his concentration into the explanation. "When a kit is born their parents give them the first part of their name. It's based on their... Looks, personality, or an event at the time of their birth." Shadestep never had to explain this before, just grew up with it and naturally knew the ways around the naming system. As such he hoped he was explaining it well. While he thought, he tilted his head, coming up with some examples. "If a storm's going on they may be named Stormkit; if they have white fur they may be called Snowkit or maybe Dovekit... Or if they have a strong personality they could be called Lionkit, Bramblekit, Firekit, Eaglekit—I think you get it." Shadestep chuckled before shifting a bit against Lynks. He didn't feel uneasy, exactly; he still felt very much content at their position. But the unalike feeling from before was making him question the nearness. After little thought, he pushed past the sensation and continued. "When they're old enough for apprenticeship the last part of their name changes to 'paw'." His ears perked and he added, "They're also allowed to leave camp at this stage. And are assigned a mentor." Shadestep nudged Lynks gently, smiling animatedly. "You'd be a warrior. After being fully trained the last part of the name changes from 'paw' to something the leader picks. It usually has to do with your character or appearance as well. Or it just seems to fit." As he thought of possible names for Lynks, he subconsciously pressed snugger to the other.

"That's terrible, I'm so sorry, is he your son? He'll make a fine Warrior or Medicine cat someday" he meowed, ample eyes full of sorrow. He looked around camp in the meantime, slightly confused as to where everyone was. He was sure there were way more people here when he left. His gaze saddened, even more, perhaps they lost their lives to the Rouges? The tom wondered where Riverwhisker was, he remembered the tom relatively well, and couldn't see him around. Just in case something had happened to the tom, Lionstrike didn't bring it up as Sunfang already looked somewhat sad. He looked back at Sunfang when she spoke "I've been okay, but I've missed Clan life a lot, and I'm so happy to be back. How about yourself?" He asked, watching as Frostflight approached slowly out of the corner of his eye.

Frostflight padded out further into camp, in her time spent with Bumbletail she had managed to clear her head. She had known for some time that Skystorm was probably dead, but just to hear the words coming out of someone's mouth; made it so much worse. She spotted Nightfang sitting with Sunstream and Lionstrike. She wanted to talk with him, explain a little and be in his comforting presence. She padded over to the trio, her eyes not displaying grief, but instead determination. Her brother had always been proud of her, he has always said that she would be the finest warrior around; and so far she felt she had let him down. Now that she knew that he was innocent (to an extent) and that he was hopefully looking down on her, she wanted to prove that to him. To prove to him that she could be a successful, strong, determined leader that made the right choices for her clan. She padded closer and sat down between Nightfang and Lionstrike, smiling gently.

Sunfang ~ 46 moons ~ Queen ~ She-cat ~ Mentions: Lionstrike and Frostflight

She smiled, "yes he is my son.. he will I know it. He may be small but he is seven moons old.." she said as she looked at Lionstrike, she listened to him and smiled some more. "Well at least you are back, I had left with the kits for a while.. so, I'm settling back in here too." She said as her yellow eyes stayed softly on Lionstrike. He was probably wondering where Riverwhisker was... the two had known each other for as long as she knew Lionstrike but, she didn't know if they were friends or not really.. she decided to tell him, even if it pained her, he had the right to know. "If you're looking for Riverwhisker.. he isn't here anymore. He hunts with Starclan now but, he will always live on in the hearts of cats who knew him." She smiled sadly but, she still looked as calm as she always had. She was always good at masking pain, around her kit she did it so he wouldn't worry, but she knew he did anyway and kits shouldn't worry.

Nightfang ~ 30 Moons ~ Apprentice: None ~ Tom ~ Senior Warrior ~ Mentions: Frostflight

He was listening to the two cats, not really wanting to join in because the topic wasn't one he liked to even think about. He was day dreaming about if Frostflight and him had kits, he wondered if he could ever be who she needed and if he could ever stop closing cats out. He finally came out of his thoughts as Frostflight came and joined them, he looked at her and wondered if she was ok. He saw the gentle smile on her face but, he still wondered.. his tail came rested next to her, as close as he could get to her.
