Appearance

Nivalis is a ruggedly handsome, light grey wolf with amber eyes. He has a stocky and strong build. His large ears aid him in hearing, he has good eyesight thanks to his large eyes, which are amber on the outer rim and dark brown near the centre, and an excellent snout, although it is short. His nose is a dark grey.His limbs are long but stocky, with dark grey, almost black pads. He harbours a slight limp on his front left paw, a result of almost getting caught in a human trap. However he has learned to go around it and is still a formidable opponent whether you are prey or other wolves. His tail is long and an excellent balancing tool, his fur warm, fluffy, and rather long (unlike his personality xd).

Personality

Nivalis can often come out as a cold and silent -- which, in all honesty, sums him up. He enjoys being a loner and would only join a pack for it's clear advantages and superiority in strength. He is curt and is not very social. A powerful wolf, he is autonomous and independent. He is easy to offend and will quickly become aggressive, especially with wolves he does not know. Although he may seem unapproachable, Nivalis has a real soft spot for pups and would be an excellent mentor. He likes to be fair and tries his best not to have quick judgement, though, he does fail quite a bit. Competitive, he's always wanted to be the best, which makes him ambitious. He disapproves, however, of getting to his goals in any dishonest means.

History

It had been a long winter, and the pups had been born a little too early. Born into the world in March, three pups were welcomed with a harsh, biting frost. Although most of the snow had melted, winds were unforgiving and seasonal rain didn't help. A snow white male pup was born first, with a large, bulky body even for his newborn size. Thirty minutes later, a smaller, leaner, grayish brown female, who looked just like her father, appeared. Finally, the runt of the litter, a small dark gray male. The pups started out like any other litter; They struggled for milk, hadn't opened their eyes, and were vulnerable bundles of fur cuddled away. The little female, named Gloria, opened her eyes first. She was followed by the first-born, Nivalis, and then the runt, Glaces. They had been named according to their maternal family's tradition; in latin. However, their social barriers were quickly established after this point, especially once they started playing with each other. Nivalis had a strong and pushy personality, and Gloria often accompanied him on small adventures out of the den. She was smart and cunning, and taught him many strategies during their first few weeks. They were comrades and best friends, partners in crime. Glaces on the other hand, was weaker than his siblings and more cautious. He enjoyed safety and, like Gloria, was rather smart. However, he'd always abstain from the tussles and games Gloria and Nivalis enjoyed. Although Gloria and Nivalis may have been crestfallen at first, they quickly overcame this and started excluding and teasing him lightly. After a little tussle which resulted in a hurt paw for Glaces, their mother Nix started being more protective of him. She scolded Nivalis for his ways and Gloria for not interfering when she could easily have stopped the larger male. Infuriated, Nivalis and Gloria seeked their father, the powerful Skyler. He, on the other hand, preferred them as they had inherited his genes and would most likely grow to be big and strong, all he had hoped for.

By the time they were one year old, Nivalis and Gloria would pretend Glaces didn't exist. Soon, Nix had a second litter, a litter of one. However, a few weeks after it's birth, Skyler was killed by a hunter. Devastated, Nivalis swore to raise the little pup and make her a strong wolf, unlike his good-for-nothing brother.

Another year passed, and the little group encountered a much larger wolf pack who wanted to take over some territory. A battle ensued, (which is where he got most of his scars) in which, to Nivalis' horror, both Nix and Gloria pass away. He mourned his dead sister for weeks. If it couldn't get worse, his younger sister, named Skyla after her father, had decided to stay rather than move on. She'd found a future mate in the son of the enemy pack alpha. Angered at what love had done to his apprentice and sibling, he dragged Glaces out of the old territory, where they separated after a month.

Appearance

Gaya is a beautiful cream and dark brown she-wolf with a lean, quick figure. She has a triangular head with large, fluffy ears, excellent eyesight (even in the dark, though less good), and curious, pale yellow eyes. Her long snout has a black nose at the tip. The upper half of her face is dark brown, like most of her body, with her muzzle and lower face being cream, like her underbelly, paws, and chest. She has black patches as well, including on her face, tailtip, and a few of her toes. Her limbs are thin and lanky, but they allow her to be quick. Her large chest also helps with this, allowing her to take deep intakes of air, aiding her in long distance running. She is a moderately good climber, though uncomfortable with heights. Her fur is short and lays down smooth on her body, giving her this slippery, shiny look when there is little light (Night, sunset and sunrise).

Personality

Gaya is funny, quirky, and loves to joke around. This doesn't mean she's bouncy. Au contraire, she's also sarcastic and likes to be classy. Sometimes arrogant, she's full of herself, but is still a fun wolf to be around (If you're on her good side). Although most of the time she's a flirty, poised, sarcastic and hilarious, she can be solemn. Many don't take her seriously and get annoyed at her, but she can perfectly understand the gravity of a situation. She's excellent at keeping a façade, and so rather autonomous. It may be hard to get her outraged, but if so, she'll always keep a grudge and doesn't forgive easily. If you get her offended, or angry, she'll ignore you. There are also... other alternatives, which she wishes not to share (They're evil). She may not look like it, but once she's angry, she can be a total bully.

History

Gaya was born in the third litter of her parents, Aurora and Ember. Alpha of the pack, Ember was strong but often busy, which resulted in her not knowing him very well. Gaya was born after her sister, Scarlet, who was a shade redder than she was, like Ember. Gaya resembled more her mother. Aurora had always loved both daughter equally, so Scarlet and Gaya remained friends. At 5 months old, a rival pack devastated theirs in an attack, killing Aurora and other packmates. Gaya and Scarlet luckily survived, having been scuttled to safety in another part of the woods by an older sister named Vixen. Ember was nowhere to be found. Vixen, Scarlet and Gaya always believed he'd gotten away, hypothesized by the fading paw prints that had clear "Ember" scent on them. Three other packmates were killed in the attack, leaving 4 alive, who, like Ember, had disappeared with little trace. Vixen and the pups were eventually accepted into another pride, but Vixen had full responsibility over the pups. Luckily they no longer needed to be suckled. However, the alphas disliked the fact there were puppies that weren't theirs in the pack, and so they were often looked down upon, especially once the Alpha female had her own 3 offspring. Although younger, these puppies often teased and jeered at Gaya and Scarlet, and they could do nothing about it.

Vixen was inexperienced and couldn't teach the sisters how to hunt and battle properly. No other packmate really wanted to do it, until one dared to, an elder wolf by the name of Ogaye. He was a black and gray male, who'd been in the pack as long as he could remember. He taught Scarlet and Gaya all they knew. At 1 and a half years old, the left the pack, Scarlet first. They both couldn't stand the three younger puppies, now 1 year and 2 months old, and their continuous harassment. Gaya didn't want to leave the safety of the pack, however, so Scarlet left on her own. Gaya soon knew it was a mistake on her part, as alone, she felt even more targeted. She followed two months later, leaving Vixen to stay in the pack.

Appearance-Luma has sleek and shiny black fur.Her eyes are icy blue with golden flecks.She is roughly 34 inches and 104 lbs.Most other wolves would describe her as beautiful,but she will claw your eyes out if you try anything.Luma has a black nose too.

Personality-Luma a a fierce and loyal wolf.She can hold her own in a fight.Altho Luma prefers to talk things out,she will fight at any given and needed moment.She is gentle with those who are hurt or young.She is a amazing hunter,and she can bring down a small deer on her own.

History-Luma was abandoned as a pup.She was just old enough to hunt small creatures and know how to find water and shelter.She doesn't really remember any of her family.As a pup she was scared,but that fear turned into bravery.As with her sadness,that turned into anger.Her favorite activities were playing in the grass and chasing mice.

@Luna, the tallest wolf is the maned wolf which can reach up to 45 inches at times. If your wolf is a timber or grey wolf as most in the roleplay are, the tallest a female can be is at the 39" in mark but that's from a general defect. Most females don't go over 33-36". Unless she's a maned wolf.
