EscapeWhat? Where am I? What happened?! The last you remembered you were stalking that tasty looking zebra, the next something pierces your side and your out like a light. Now your in a strange cage in a circle-like room with other leopards, there are no lights but you don't need them. Some have obviously been here longer then you as somethings wrong with them. Is... Is that one glowing!? You've been captured by mad scientists and transported to a underground facility hidden under the Savannah. Once a day your let out with the other leopards to hunt in a force fielded room. Inside is prey much larger then the ones out in the wild. Does that leopard have wings!? Whats going on here? Can you and the others find a way out or are you doomed to live in forced captivity forever? Rules1) No Mating/Birthing scenes! <*b>Fade to Black<*/b*> 2) No force mating. 3) NO Powerplay/godmodding; Such as using another character thats not yours in any way. Insta-hitting. Indestructible/Powerful characters. give others a chance to reply before you do! 4) 4+ Sentences! Be Descriptive. Correct grammer and spelling to the best of your ability. NO "Kills prey runs back home drops and sleeps." Or "__ Panted and slept, it was hot outside." Or "Doug asked Jay 'do u know the best place to hunt? r u hungry?' " 5) Keep Cussing to a minimum. 5A) Put 'marshmallowz' if you read this far. 6) Keep the genders even. 7) As many characters as you can handle. 8) Hate the character not the player 9) You cant be in one place then suddenly go to another if something is going on that you dont like. 10) If your character dies, it is DEAD. No Regeneration. 11) Destiny (#17200) & Cora (#38247) are the owners of this RP. 12) Be nice OOC 13) Animals allowed : Leopards! (THREE Jaguars ; Sprinkles & Kiwi(?) reserved one.) 14) This is a semi-literate roleplay and I understand writers block... Ignore rule 5A and put 'Crazy Catz' in the cats bio if read this far. 15) Please don't 1v1 if others don't reply. You can do this for 4 total posts. IE You, them, you, them. Then YOU have to wait for at least 2 other people.. I don't want my thread clogged with 1v1ing. 16) PREY REFERENCE: Large: Rhinoceros, Young Giraffe, blue wildebeest, Buffalo, Zebra Medium: Kudu, Impala, Eland, Okapi, Hirola, Antelope. XX 17)NEW RULE! There can only be 1 kind of each mutation! There can be different 'variations' of them like the O5 winged, there can be 1 with wings that aren't fully developed or don't work. Or may have feathers growing from their legs and shoulder or something. NO TWO MAY BE THE SAME! 18)NEW RULE! In the beginning all leopards will be there! Though the O5 (Original 5) will call them by their arrival numbers until they fully learn the names and such. The escape will NOT happen until I or Cora says so. I have planned what the escape is and most will have developed their mutations within the first 3 IRL days of being in the lab. Character List:Characters!LEOPARD INFO! ~Original Five... I was planning on having those ones planned and have them lead the leopards (since their more skilled) 1. Winged (Tires quickly when flying)(For never, Forever ; Lead Warrior) 2. Glow in the dark (Can choose to glow or not)(? ; Cub Watcher??) 3. Elemental (VERY limited use on the powers. VERY weak when in use. 10 minutes tops or gets very weak. etc)(Mine ; Leader) 4. Over grown claws & teeth (Cinder ; Deputy) 5. Shadow Manipulation (Can form shadow 'creatures' and move shadows and such. Can't really do anything with powers just yet.)(Cora ; Lead Hunter)~ ~For every 3 leopards there shall be 1 caretaker. They are in a circular room, cages are kinda rounded on the sides and about 2 feet apart. In total there are 20 cages, 2 door ways (One for the caretakers and one to the outdoor arena). They get to hunt twice a day, before sunrise and after sunset, ALL leopards go out at once. 24/7 water by electric pipes that run through the tops of the cages into good sized bowls. Cages are big enough for cats to walk in circles and lay out fully like this XX~ ~The originals are anywhere from 3-4 years old, while the newbies are anywhere from 1-2 1/2.~ Sign-upsPICTURE GOES HERE! Cool =) I had written the bio for a second character, but i was hesitant on weather to go through with it or not. I wasn't sure what kind of mutation he would have. And if i should even have another... Im still deciding, if there is a shortage of people then i may. Moderator removed image due to lack of source Name: Sylvia Age: One year and ten months (Apparently leopards aren't self-sufficient until 22 months old, so I'll raise her age past the about one year you suggested towards this. As you can see, I have her placed now as a barely adult cat.) Gender: Female Mutation: Polydactyl paws -- Prior to experimentation, 'inert' and will not affect story nor her gait. (This means she will have one extra jointed digit on each paw. Front paws will look bulkier with a full extra dew claw, and back paws will have five claws and paw pads. I can draw pictures or link to cats with this condition if needed. It's actually not too uncommon. -.-) As you mentioned earlier, this will be a younger cat without an 'unnatural' mutation. Therefore, the developed mutation would be discovered later on. (I'm thinking about limited Telekinesis, since telepathy was taken. This would be weak, only lifting/manipulating objects that she could theoretically lift strength-wise unassisted. Mostly this would add extra dexterity to the cat, whom cannot use her extra 'thumbs' like a person can. For example, she may be able to eventually open unlocked doors or type a code into an electronic lock with this ability. If chosen, this would be erratic and mentally taxing. She would misjudge the strength needed to move something fairly often.) If this is not helpful enough/too specialized, please tell me, because the only other thing that comes to mind is the ability to stick to walls. Which of course would not help at all if/when they escape. So suggestions would be totally appreciated! Sexuality: Heterosexual Rank: Hunter or Medicine Cat, either works for me. (Med cat who hunts occasionally?) Personality: Usually very sweet, Sylvia doesn't like conflict and thus will often just go along with whatever the other cat wants to do, as long as she too isn't against it. As such, she enjoys helping where she can, although she gets cranky quickly when low on sleep or after overtaxing her power/mutation (when developed). She is rather insecure due to her siblings' mocking her oversized paws, and will quickly withdraw or change the subject when they are brought up. "I walk fine, isn't that enough?" appears to be her default answer when prodded. Appearance: Sylvia is still growing, but stands at a slightly small 22 inches at the shoulder. She is slightly scrawny from months of being bullied out of most of the meat her mother brought back for her and her littermates. Her eyes are green and her coat is normal for a leopard. She has an extra digit on each paw, as noted in 'Mutations,' but this is natural and doesn't affect her movement. These are a dew claw on each fore paw and a normal claw on each back paw. None of the claws or joints are fused, and each can move separately. Her front paws look vaguely like mittens. Biography: As alluded to in her personality segment, she was mocked and made fun of by her littermates as a cub. Her mother half-heartedly tried to get them to quit, but they simply continued while she was away hunting. As a result, her self confidence is rather low and she often clings to whomever would accept her, contrasting to the average leopard. Her unhappy adolescence ended on a sour note when the scientists tranquilized (this is what they did, yes?) her on her first fully solo hunt. Sylvia simply sees the lab as a cold extension of what her life has always consisted of. She is rather pessimistic and may need prodded to leave the area. She fears that the scientists or some other group would find them again if they were to escape. Family/Relationships: None at the moment. Still working it out, I'll edit this when it's done :) Thank you by the way. I'm still hashing out how much this should be able to lift though. I know leopards can lift large prey animals into trees (such as gazelles, which can be up to 165 lbs!) but I'm not sure that I should allow that as a power. Maybe cap the telekinesis at a rounded number, like being able to lift 50 or 100 lbs straight into the air without assistance? Should the power grow weaker over distance (because that seems reasonable to me)? Please let me know of any comments or concerns you may have. 0 players like this post! Like? |

hmm.. I forgot how much they could lift, maybe the heaviest be 80lbs? It drains her energy quicker for the heavy things... Like if it's say, a few rodents she could carry it indefinitely but something like a small zebra or something she could only mentally carry it for about 10-15 minutes at short bursts? ~~~~~~~ A CLICKABLE LINK TO ALL THE CHARACTERS AT THIS POINT HAS BEEN ADDED IN THE MAIN POST! 0 players like this post! Okay the monster post is completed! Everything in the application should be done! Sorry about editing it in parts, but sometimes Lioden will simply delete the whole post and force me to start over. Yes the ability should be dependent on how heavy the object is she is lifting or by how fine the motor control of the thing she is manipulating is. This makes sense and would be quite a good way to limit it. (Also I can imagine a few funny scenes where she'll forget she's carrying something light and whacks someone with it accidentally.) 80 or so lbs sounds fine to me, but that zebra would have to be a really young foal...like a newborn...adult zebra can weight up to around 800 or 900 lbs! Even lions drag zebra carcasses rather than carry them. 0 players like this post! Like? |

What a rare treat. So I stepped inside and started to eat, but then there was a clang! and the opening shut! I yowled with fear and surprise. I was brought to a laboratory by a Hindleg (human) with other leopards. Now I am 1 year 10 months. I think she should be lighter Hirthstar... Like way lighter. lol Female leopards are average 23 to 27 kilos (Around 50 to 59 pounds I believe). So she weighs like an "elephant" at 784 pounds (Around 355 kilos). XD But I guess she could be slightly heavier then normal with wings added to her form... but still not that much heavier. Unless her weight is intentional like Ironheart said. Also, I am still thinking about adding another character... A young one in fact. But unsure if I still want.
