What if Kalik can fly in short bursts and only when needed desperately?

Only that, because baby birds can fly in short bursts, without fully developed wings. (I know from experience with finding them stranded from the nest in the yard). Can he be 2.5 years old?

@Hirth, Wolf: If we're going by baby-bird flapping frenzies, that would take at least 60+% of all the leopard's energy at once. It's pretty much a flying feather mess rather than true flying, and even then it's more gliding than anything. They can move about 10x their body length in a straight line, about 3x their height max, I've found. Then they are completely exhausted. ((Had a wild mockingbird fledgling fall from it's nest last week. We eventually were able to catch it and replace it in it's nest after it tried to fly a few times, failing horribly each time. Each consecutive time had the 'flight' cut by 2/3rds of the duration and height of the last one. He managed three flutters before collapsing utterly, terrified.))

@Wolf: I raised Sylvia's age to 1 year, 10 months as I looked up when leopards become adults and this would be the cutoff time. So 22 months it is if I am to play this off as her getting captured after just setting off on her own. x3

What if Kalik could get off the ground, but then only be able to glide 2x her height, and only for a maximum of 5 minutes?

@Spirit, Yea I had a young bird, not sure it's species, but it got knocked out of the nest by a storm and he jumped out of a bush at me and i managed to catch him after he 'yelled' at me and tried to bite me a few times XD He must've been nearing adulthood though because he 'flew' quite a distance before landing on the ground and fluttering around trying to get away. Eventually though he sat on my finger for a few hours while we located the nest.

His mutation started out as only slightly elongated teeth and claws, nothing extremely out of the ordinary, but they were still a little longer than the average leopard's. However he soon grew to notice that he had a certain affinity with the elements.

Earth: Only works when his paws are touching actual dirt. Thus he cant use it if he isn't physically touching the ground ( If he is in a tree its useless), or at least some kind of dirt. The harder packed the dirt, the harder it will be for him to even remotely manipulate it. Concrete is entirely impossible for him to move if it isn't already broken up into very small pieces. He uses earth to fight, as he can coat his claws and front legs in a layer of dirt. For added effect on his tail he may even add a spine, whether its for looks, or he actually fights with it is unknown. He usually prefers to use mud as it is already pliable and easy to manipulate. Elongating his claws and even his teeth (yeah he hates it) through the use of an almost rock like coating. He can even use small rocks as projectiles, which is probably a very, and i do mean very weak form of telekinesis. He can only throw rocks no bigger than his paw, and only in a radius of about three to four feet. Five feet if he is extremely desperate.(This almost exclusive applies to earth, his strongest element.) Even though this is his strongest element it has strict limitations, his rock armor takes alot of energy to form, but once formed he wears it like a thick coating of mud. The only draw back is that it is fairly heavy, and even if keeping it up isn't taxing repairing it is. In conclusion he cant form it at the drop of a hat, but once its on he is like a tank. Not very fast, but powerful.

. Wind: Yeah, not very useful. The best he can do is form four inch tall dust devils that can pick up tiny handfuls of dirt. And maybe on a full belly he can muster up a gust of wind strong enough to clear his cage of dust. So yeah, pretty useless.

Water: Since the pad of his paws are the only places were sweat forms he uses that water to create mud. Like wind its really not used to attack, but rather to aid his other mutation. With this in mind, he can only use this tactic if he has water to spare, otherwise its unusable.

Fire: This is completely unstable, he has very little control over this element. He isn't easily effected by fire, he can contort its shape so that flames wont touch others. But this is extremely taxing on him both mentally and physically. He doesn't have to touch fire to control it, but he needs to be within ten feet of it. Without a source he cant use fire to do anything, so truth be told he doesn't even know he has this ability. Simply because he has never come into contact with fire.

He is a solitary soul, as most leopards are. He is self-sufficient and is uses to looking out for number one. He isn't totally anti social, but he is naturally wary of other leopards. He is quiet and prefers to sit back and observe over being the first to initiate a conversation. He has a sort of aloofness about him, because of this he portrays that he doesn't want to be bothered. He is sort of moody (could you blame him?) and usually keeps to himself. He hates feeling powerless, and his current situation doesn't make it better. Enclosed spaces make him nervous and jumpy, leading him to be exceedingly snappish and quick tempered. Thus he is in a permanent grumpy mood, only truly happy when he is out hunting. He is defensive, and constantly on edge. But outside he laughs, he leaps and bounds like a kitten. Willing to tussle and play around like he die when he was younger. So the best thing to say is that he is being so ornery because of his current environment. He will open up when he is sure he isn't in immediate danger, and maybe if someone can calm his nervous butt down.
~ Appearance ~

He is a well built male with strong legs and a long well-formed tail, head as big as a panther’s, broad muzzle, short ears and small, yellowish grey eyes. He is 4 ft 2 long with a long tail. And since his arrival he gained quite a few pounds so weighs somewhere between 160 and 169 lb. His coat is golden and has rossettes that fade toward his white underbelly and the insides and lower parts of his legs. His rosettes are most prominent on his back, flanks and hindquarters.
~ Biography ~
He was born to a loving mother and had an equally as loving sister. The first few months of his life were great, once they were old enough to be left alone, his mother began to take hunting trips that eventually began to extend in length. After the first few times he and his sister grew to be comfortable with being left alone. Perfectly content with keeping each other company. They were inseparable, and could barely be told apart. For leopards the trio lived a pretty decent life, the prey was in good supply and their mothers milk was all they needed. But one is never truly safe in the savannah, on several occasions the same male leopard tried to kill him and his sister. But the rocky cliff face that they called home held many dens. And they were always able to hide in small crevices together, shivering in fear till the male was driven away by their mothers fierce claws. She was older by leopard standards, and they were probably her last litter. Which was why she poured as much knowledge into their young minds as possible. Under her guidance they grew until lethal hunters by the age of one and a half. And by the end of their second year she knew she had raised leopards that were sure to carry on the family name. She groomed them one last time before sending them on their way. He and his sister choose to go in a similar direction, until they eventually split up after a certain point leaving Armon to his own devices. For the first time he was truly on his own but he was remaining optimistic. It was tough, and the dry season mad finding food and water equally difficult but he decided to make the most of the situation. Following the herds of migrating animals and learning along the way. He had to fight several much older and vastly more experienced leopards along the way. Earning the bulk of his scars from trying to defend his food from thieving hyenas and other leopards. Leading to a severe distrust of leopards, and just the unknown in general. But he was definitely not above stealing food from other leopards when times got really tough. Even when nothing seemed to go his way, he still managed to keep his head up. He was gaining experience and that was all that mattered. Until he was tranquilized in the middle of the night as he tried to carry his freshly caught dik dik up his tree. Needles to say he wasn't too happy to wake in a strange concrete environment, that offered little in the way of his normal luxuries. You know like being able to run around whenever he liked. Regardless he is stuck here now whether he likes it or not.

@Hirth: That could work. Gliding takes much less energy than flailing. I would suggest leaping then gliding for maximal effect.

she is gorgeous! I don't think she's to OP as the 'ice Transmutation' won't kill other leopards or large prey. Though maybe not use it on the other players to much? o3o She's accepted otherwise.
