Or, maybe there isn't, who knows?

Azurine smirked slightly, tip of her tail curling into the smallest spot of sunlight, fire and ice playing their games amid the satin soft hairs as she yawned, haunches rising and razor-sharp claws catching on the rock in a long stretch, maw open wide. Glowing eyes would watch the newcomers as they spoke, silent steps bringing her lean, agile body closer to the edge of shade, muscles rippling as she stopped, still out of view.

The lean blue feline trotted side-by-side with his brother, sniffing around the area to watch out for any rival males who might be older and more experienced in combat than them. An encounter with a more masculine pride male would not end well, especially since the two brothers had just left their old pride and had hardly any experience in fighting. They would take any chance they could get to practice. But even if they were good fighters, at this age they certainly wouldn't be impressing any lionesses. Idohi was lucky to have such a good hunter for a brother, even if he wasn't as smart as him. The young male sneered to himself, puffing out his scarce yet fluffy mane in egotistical pride.

Taharo looked over his shoulder at his sneering sibling, before rolling his eyes. Sometimes he wondered how they were even related. The tiger-like male picked up his pace when a daunting scent wafted past his olfactory glands, causing the hair to stand up on his back when he trotted over to sniff the side of a baobab tree. It was the scent of an adult male, but to his relief it was a couple of days old. Not that he wouldn't put up a fight to any male who dared confront him, that is. He decided it best not to tell his brother, or else he would freak out. They were heading to a local waterhole, and he was quite thirsty, there would be nothing that could stand between him and the fresh feel of tasty aqua dribbling down your throat.

Storm watched Opera walk off, then he himself headed off, but in a different direction. The sudden smell of blood caught his attention, and he walked faster. Then seeing a female lioness he paused and glared at her, a deep rumble coming from his throat. He saw her glance at him and jump onto her feet, snarling at him. He caught sight of her overly long fangs and a short stubby tail, and this caught him off guard. "Back off, this is my kill," she growled, her ears lowered as her muscles tensed, prepared to pounce. He backed up and glanced back, seeing the waterhole only a little bit away from them. Looking back he saw her closer as she raised her paw and clawed at him. He roared in pain as he backed up some more, looking at her as the searing pain flooded his head, with her only hissing.

Personality: Cheyenne can often be quite mean to other lions, possibly due to trust issues caused by her parents abandoning her when she was a cub. She doesn't have many friends, though she has convinced herself that it's because she's too good for them, not because they hate her. Cheyenne refuses to take orders from anyone, meaning no pride will keep her for long. Constantly disrespecting authority and treating everyone else like dirt has made Cheyenne many enemies... she just has to hope they never catch up with her.

The large primal male padded along through the tall grasses, his maw partially open as he panted softly. His crimson eyes scanned the area he was in, overly cautious and ready to spring on any who dared threaten him. His pride had been wiped out by a rival pride several months ago, he was alone now and looking for females, or a pride with a weak male to take over, he hadn't found either yet. Growling lowly to himself he picked up his pace, now trotting through the grass, his thick, fluffy mane shaking and waving about with his movements. He could smell water not too far off, and his thick coat made it so he heated up quickly, making water stops necessary and not far between one another. Several different scents had him slowing to a stop though, two young males and the scent mark of an adult male. The scents made him turn the other way, taking a longer and less direct route to the source of the water scent he'd been following for the past few hours.
