I once did a stud thread where there was a masterpost at the top with quick links to each stud, and a summary of them, as well as their stud prices. Then each used just commented with their stud and studding info (markings, price, rules etc) and updated their own reply whenever they changed kings.

Yeah, I was talking about something like that. We'd need to advertise it somehow, and have the other players post their studs instead of us searching for them... maybe we could contact them and ask them if they'd like to advertise themselves there too?

I could try setting it up like that, but if it ends up getting messy and out of date I'll have to take it down because I don't want to confuse members if studs are listed that don't qualify for Hard Mode anymore. :/

You could always begin with something like "Please take into account that Hard Mode only contemplates the use of first generation studs, or those with 'wiped' heritage. Be sure to check the stud's heritage before sending the request."

Yes, if someone posts their own stud on the thread, then replaces with an heir ( most likely not heritageless) then they wouldn't qualify for our thread anymore but their post would be stuck there because if they post it I can't alter it or take it down.
The link would still work because main males always have the same url even if they are replaced but the link would now link to a stud that doesn't qualify.
I wouldn't want Hard Mode members ( especially new ones) getting confused and thinking they can use those studs just because they are still on our stud page and we have no way to remove them. :(

@Bere. Yeah, I would do that anyway (as you can see on the thread I created) but it's bound to get messy fast if it can't be moderated.

Also trying to make sure everyone uses the same format and posts an image would be difficult. I'll make a form and request they use it, and then just cross my fingers I guess, lol.
