Kyon

I woke feeling sore and wondered what was going on, I took noticed that I wasn't outside and I was somewhere that seemed soft "Jesse?" I muttered wondering if he was the one that had come and brought me in. I noticed a bandage wrapped around my chest and wondered how bad it had been.

"Geez Kyon why didn't you take my armor I had given you earlier, I gave you my only health potion I had left. If I wouldn't of come out to look for you, you would have died. Please don't scare me like that ever again," replied Jesse as he held Kyon's hand gently in his. He got up and brought over a small bowl of stew, He made earlier and fed some to Kyon to eat since he was still too weak to move quite yet.

I looked at him for a moment "I would have healed on my own after a while" I muttered to him feeling bad that he had to do that "I got attacked by another player, I hadn't even seen where they came from when I got attacked" I told him before trying to sit up with little success, I was glad that he had come for me since I had been scared of that player finding me again.

"Yeah well I was scared that you had died, I would've blamed myself for not coming with you in the first place, tomorrow we're going into town and getting you better armor," replied Jesse as a tear ran down his face. He just hoped that Kyon wouldn't notice that he had been crying, for some reason Jesse was starting to have feelings for Kyon even though they jut met.

"I was mostly talking about using your last health potion" I told him, I knew I likely would have died if he hadn't found me but I knew he didn't need to use his last health potion on me. I felt glad that he was the one who had helped me though since I knew I'd never be able to survive long on my own.

"But if you didn't heal fast enough somebody or something else could've killed you if I didn't show up and use my last potion on you, please try to get some sleep I'll be right here looking after you," smiled Jesse as he moved a chair over by his bed and gently took Kyon's hand until he fell asleep. He then put another blanket on Kyon just in case he got cold and kept watch over him all night long.

I smiled softly letting myself fall to sleep feeling safe with him and hoped that everything was going to be ok and that no harm would come to Jesse because he had helped me. I ended up sleeping though the whole day and woke the next morning feeling better but knew I still needed to take it easy since I was still a low level.

Jesse groaned and got up from the chair, he didn't sleep very good last night because he was worried about Kyon. Once he was up Jesse made breakfast and waited for Kyon to wake up, once Kyon woke up and they ate their breakfast they would head into town to buy Kyon a better piece of armor.

I wondered more about him, I wondered if better armor would help since I wasn't that high a level and knew it would only be able to protected me so far. I knew getting to the upper levels would be the best thing "After this could we try and get to the upper levels?" I asked him knowing that we could find the better towns plus I knew higher paying jobs would be on the upper levels.

"We can try but the monsters will be a little bit tougher, are you sure you're up for that. I'll protect you no matter what happens, you'll just have to stay behind me and do as I tell you ok," replied Jesse as he helped Kyon out of the bed. He put on his armor and grabbed his sword before heading out the door with Kyon close behind him.

I nodded to him knowing that I'd have to listen to him when it came to that kind of thing. I knew stronger armor would help but also I knew it would give some better protection, I stayed close to him scared of that player coming and attacking me again. I knew we'd need to get some health potions just in case anything happened.

Jesse bought Kyon new armor and also bought a dozen potions, he sent 6 of them to Kyon and kept the other 6 for himself,"are you ready to go Kyon, let's get moving before it gets too late in the day to travel," replied Jesse as he walked out of town and to one of the higher level towns.

I had been wanting to use my own credit to get my own things since I guess I knew he'd already done a lot for me plus I had a bit of my own credits anyway. I guessed I could get us food for our travel "We should get some supplies first just in case this takes up longer then we first though" I said mostly wanting to find a way to repay him.

"Sure. But I'm buying, save your money in case your sword gets damaged or something. It should take us about an hour or so to get to the next town but could be longer in case we run into any trouble," replied Jesse as they walked farther away from town. Suddenly he held the handle of his sword,"we've got company," he said as he quickly pulled out his sword.

I looked at him pouting slightly not wanting him to feel like he needed to do all that for me. I soon watched him pull his sword out and grew worried especially when seeing the player who had attacked me, I pulled my sword out ready knowing I had to help him and make sure that we got out of this alive. I wondered how this would go.
