Damiaan refrained from wincing when she gave him a look, and he shrugged and sat back in his chair when she was done speaking, "No, and before you ask I don't agree with this rogue killing the government people. It's just... when you don't have a choice..." He couldn't really find a way to say what he wanted to, so he just shrugged and scratched the back of his head.

Kelsie leaned forward and put her weight on her elbows, "What do you mean, it's just, when you don't have a choice. It's like yup're defending him like he's your kind." She said now suspicious of his words

Damiaan shook his head, starting to regret his words, "It's... well... I'm not..." He sighed in frustration, and raked a hand through his hair, "They don't have a choice in what they are. I mean, some do, some want to be like that, but..." He shook his head again, "I am not defending this rogue killing people, if that's what you think I'm doing."

Kelsie sat back, not sure why he was being so defensive of vampires, it's not like he was one of them...Kelsie's heart constricted, or was he? Maybe that's why he reacted the was he did when she cut her hand, because he had the temptation to drain the life out of her.

Damiaan shook his head again, and drained the rest of his coffee before standing, "I should just go, I need some sleep." He put his hands in his pockets before walking out the door. He hesitated for a moment when he was out there, and he just sat down on a nearby bench.

Kelsie grabbed her bags and walked back to her car, determined to find out exactly what was going on, Had she been associating with the killer all along? No, it can't be, she was going to figure it out, on her own.

Damiaan watched as Kelsie walked to her car, and he sighed again before standing and starting his walk home. He really just needed sleep, maybe in the morning when he had a clearer head he could figure this... thing, out.

When Andrea got home she decided to cool down with a quick drink. She was really hoping her assumptions about Damiaan were incorrect but she had to make sure for herself.

Damiaan ate when he got home, and took another shower. He rubbed his hair when he got out, thinking that he needed to cut it, and debated about what to do now. He needed to stop worrying about Kelsie, if he kept on he would drive himself insane. So he decided to just play a myriad of games on his xbox one, not really finding anything else to do.

The next day, Kelsie went to the book store before school, hoping to find Damiaan there already. She walked in and looked around, if he isn't what she thinks he is, it would leave him with a pretty nasty scar.

Damiaan actually arrived to work early to make up for his late arrival yesterday, and he was unpacking the latest shipment of books when he heard the door open. He frowned when he saw Kelsie, and set a stack of books on the counter, "Something wrong?"

"Maybe," she breathed before walking up to him. She fiddled with the knife up her sleeve before lunging over and grabbing his hand, slicing down. She made sure to hold onto his hand and gasped at the results. "No." She muttered. "No. You're..." She released his hand backing out of the store.

Damiaan furrowed his eyebrows at her response, and removed his hands from the stack of books and the boxes. She was kind of worrying him, and he wondered if she was kind of high or something. He was about to ask her what she was doing when he saw she was fiddling with something, and he was severely unprepared when she suddenly lunged forward. The cut didn't hurt, but he knew exactly why she had done that. Of course she would have. He growled in the back of his throat when she backed out of the store, and he vaulted the countertop and grabbed her shirt to pull her back inside the store, quickly shutting and locking the door so no one could come inside. He glared at her for a minute, "What the hell, Kelsie?"
