Something else I don't really appreciate is how it kind of seems like everything is being deflected with how we're "entitled". I don't expect something for nothing, I work very hard for what I achieve, and so do many others. We work hard to gather our currency for Buffalo Scrots (which sometimes we rely on) for our projects and we just don't appreciate a sudden change being sprung on us at the last minute with not much of a notice aside from a vague "peddler shop prices may change" in some fine print. It's honestly rather insulting. I've been a loyal player for a long time and I have, again, worked hard for what I have achieved with no real help from anyone else until maybe a bit recently.

Oh come on. Things are hard enough. This upsets people and its NOT going to have a positive impact on the game or "economy". 500 was high in the first place; just leave it alone.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean entitled in an insulting, petulant sort of sense. I meant that we just consistently expect things to stay the same and think that even as the collective (not individual) ease to put buffalo scrotes into the game increases, that nothing should change about it to preserve our personal profits at a possible detriment to the whole site mechanics. These things have to change sometimes to keep a balance, even if it isn't in our favour.

Like I said before, I also agree with you on the sudden change being unfair, but the only way that can be learned from is by mitigating it next time a change is made by announcing it as far in advance as possible.

There could be a technical reason why. Maybe they are worried about too much cubs at once or something? Not sure if that would be heavy on a server or not. But I'm supporting anyway because I was grinding like crazy to save up for two, and, uh.. I still want that to be possible. *shrug*

I have to look for the thread and anything relating to it, but I do remember that there was some hullabaloo with herbs since users got them in explore year round and even set up raffles for them. I thought it was a poor example of communication imo because things could've been said in advance prior to the event happening.

Buy more GB = Profit, money, moolah, buckaroos. All the staff really seems to care about is money. Start a patreon, at least it won't affect the game's market.

@Thalath- I feel that's the point of this thread, not whether or not buffalo balls help pass a mutation better or not.

People put forth a lot of effort for this. We're not being entitled, that would require us making demands out of our reach, we just want what we earned. Having that taken away at the last second is extremely disheartening.

This was my husband's first August event and he's really bummed that he's not going to get a buffy ball for it, he's worked all month and was so excited when he got 500 bones. If they stay at 700 he's going to have to grind another week to maybe get one.

@Feather They should have at least left it at 500 and changed it next year. Some people stopped at 500 and are fucked because they have school, like someone said on pg 13. I start school soon too. Lucky I have only 24 left to go for 700.

There is a key difference between something being fun and something being frustrating

500 bones is fine but 700 bones? For a casual player? Thats just disheartening....
With so many 1 cub litters an item like this is must have if you want to breed for a goal....
and you use them right away and have to buy them from other players but now its super expensive in gb? I'm just gonna take a break from lioden until the balls are back in shop.... but by the time the events back will I even want to play lioden again?


if you feel this change is a MUST just save it for next year AND GIVE A HEADS UP
This way people who only saved for a certain amount this year are fine and know for next year

There's... there's literally no meaning for the word "entitled" that isn't insulting, unless you meant it in a legal sense, which doesn't apply to this situation.

It's possible that through this suggestion thread, the price may be adjusted, as I think there are some reasonable suggestions in here for that. I can't say that for sure, I'm not an admin, but I do know from experience that they listen to these kinds of complaints and consider them closely.

I'm only getting an average of 5 DB per 100 energy. I use like 5-6 energy bars per day. That's only 25-30 DB per day. That is if I'm lucky. They should keep the prices the same with how hard DB is to get.
